It was easy for me to schedule a same day appointment for a smog check. They have the tiniest “waiting room” ever but it has water, coffee and an AC. I didn't wait long. The man at the counter was helpful, kind and friendly. Their price was very reasonable. I will definitely be back, but I might ask one of them to back the car out for me next time. :) They were busy, which is always a good sign. Thank you for the quick, excellent service, guys!

I was fortunate when, and where my truck broke down (fuel pump died). I was even more fortunate that PRAR had a few guys around after closing, who still took the time to help me, and were very upfront about everything.
I hated having to go three days without my truck (it happened on a Friday evening - which makes PRAR even more awesome for helping me), but they got my truck done in a day (I'll overlook the minor hiccup cause it was just a slight delay) when they opened back up on Monday.
I found Paso Robles Auto Repair to be pretty amazing. They were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, cared about getting my truck back to me quickly, got the job done quickly, and I found them to be fairly priced - customer service was top notch.
I very much recommend Paso Robles Auto Repair.

Very busy shop. Cars lined up in the parking area. You'll have to wait a bit for an appointment. Why? Because they are so good at what they do and very fair in their pricing. I have brought two vehicles to them for A/C work. They couldn't readily fix the one, and clearly showed me why, and gave me options if I wanted to go ahead and try. They didn't charge me because they couldn't fix it! The other car they fixed the same day and explained the simple fix and it came in below estimate. They are friendly, and honest.

Lalo and his team are professional and timely with reasonable pricing. Well worth the trip even if you live outside the Paso area.

We are concessionaires & were in town at CA Mid-State Fair. We needed air conditioners on 2 trucks fixed. PR Auto Repair got them both in right away. Which doesn't happen very often these days. One was harder to find the problem, a slow leak in the compressor. They kept at it until they found it. Repair price was very fair!
Day after Fair was over, we had a flat tire on our Jeep. We could not get the lug nuts off for the life of us! Called them, to see if they knew of a mobile tire repair.
They sent a guy from their shop over right away, took an hour for him to get them off, but he did it. No charge! Paso Robles Auto Repair is awesome! They are nice, trustworthy & very good at auto repair! I don't ever do reviews, but these guys deserve the 5⭐'s plus! We would highly recommend them! Thank You Paso Robles Auto Repair staff, you rock!!!

Lalo and his team were top notch guys! They were the only shop to answer the phone and we needed someone bad. They treated more than fair and even lent us a car to drive around Paso while they did my repair! I had an issue with a loose from the factory fitting and brought it back to them and they jumped on it right away and got us out. These guys are hands down the best shop I’ve seen in a while and it’s due to their service. I’m in the service industry and I know what it takes us to have repeat customers and these guys knock it out of the park. I was traveling through Paso from Bakersfield and they saved my vacation for sure!!!

Honest, smart, and hardworking … this shop took me in ahead of over twenty cars for an energency repair to replace my fuel pump within a 24hr period !!
Kuddos ! Job well done guys !! (and drove me to and from my motel when my H2 was ready for pickup !! Im a 7th gen Californian and very proud we have auto mechanics in our state that can actually fix things. Thanks a million !! Drove to Vegas no problem.
