Will have to think carefully about shopping there again. I went in on Feb., 13 and ordered a brand new fridge. It was originally scheduled to be delivered tomorrow (Feb., 21), but somehow they couldn't be bothered to call me to let me know they're rescheduling the delivery for next Monday. They sent an email. I'd already made arrangements to be home to take delivery of the fridge, but they're too cowardly to call me on the phone to notify me about the delivery date change. I called the store and spoke with a manager. He said he'd make arrangements to have it delivered this Friday instead of next Monday. He also made excuses about their vendor not getting it to the store on time. They had 8 days! Where the hell is it coming from, the Panama Canal? If they F**k this up again, I'll cancel my order and go somewhere else and never shop there again.

Thank you for all your help Kevin Nelson! He helped me make a selection, then walked around the store with me 3 times finding the right connections, and laid it all out on a cart so I knew how to install it myself at home. He is an expert. The best. I told awesome Matthew Stevenson at checkout about how great Kevin is and he agreed.

This store is very close to my house so we end up going there frequently but I prefer Home Depot in Atascadero They usually are out of whatever we need. Today I bought a deadbolt for house door but yo get my military discount I now have enter my phone number ( no change ) and to pull out my drivers license from my wallet inside my zipper purse. And the DL is very hard to get out of the slot for it. It's very tight so it's a real pain. I don't need more aggravation in my life I need less! And they used to have a person overseeing the self check machines but now she doesn't operate a register that I can use to run the military with just my phone. She said only the self check machines require I scan my dL. And the other regular cashier will no longer be there either she said. So only self check unless I go garden or contractor desk at far ends of the store. This store sucks!

Horrible service In July 2023 my husband and I ordered 7 windows. they were delivered to my house and the following day the installers came on time however with not the proper equipment to install the windows which were on the second level of the house. The installers were also told they were installing 1 sliding glass door only. so after figuring out what to do they installed the windows, with us supplying the scaffolding and ladders to get to the upper level. they started to install the last window and realized it was ordered backwards(it was an odd shape window). OK fine, they supposedly notified Lowe's of the error to reorder a new one. We called the following week and was told it was not ordered, so they did it that day or soon after. It came and it was ordered wrong again. They ordered it from the wrong company. So they said they would order another one. It is now into November. They scheduled the install date the day after Thanksgiving so we rushed home that morning to meet them at 11am. At 12 they still were not there , around 1pm my husband called and was told that the window was ordered wrong again-the wrong style. We have talked with Lowes with each error and nothing gets done. We just keep repeating our situation, even though we were told the information was in our account. They were going to order the window again-which would be the 4th order of this 1 window. We finally said cancel, since you guys have a hard time placing a correct order. We(on our own) had to put our old window back and seal it up before the rain starts. We have asked to speak with management but we get disconnected or told they will call you. No calls yet I would expect some sort of compensation besides the refund of the window. I guess I'll see what Home Depot can for me. I'm sure they know what to do

Absolutely abysmal customer service, the male "supervisor" was rude and unhelpful and could not have cared less about resolving what should have been a simple issue. Home Depot will be my store from here on, where customers are treated with respect, the store is well stocked, employees are knowledgeable and they know how to pick up the phone.

Lowes in general are always quiet, music playing, I see employees but they never ask if you need help and they're on their phones (except Brandon, he sd hi and asked is we needed anything). So many choices, so little time. Halloween...Christmas... they've got everything you need. Prices are comparable to other stores, good value for your money.

We purchased middle of the line Kraftmaid kitchen cabinets May of 2022 with Steve Woods at the Paso Robles Lowes. Steve was great with customer service but we wish he had shown us a (life size) sample of the cabinet doors that we were purchasing instead of a small (approximately) 12 inch by 12 inch sample. A small sample does not does not give the customer a good idea of the quality or workmanship of a 29 inch by 15 inch door. PLUS, we were never shown thicker cabinet doors that do not sound like plastic or hollow. The cabinet doors we have are about 1/2 inch thick with no back panel. Just unbelievable! Amazingly, the cabinet doors were installed within a relatively short time after ordering. After installation we noticed how cheap and shoddy the cabinet doors looked and they sounded hollow and looked like they were made of plastic. The original pine cabinets we had were better and stronger and built to last. They were 25 years old and still in great condition. We just wanted to upgrade our kitchen. The new cabinets won't last more than 5 years. They are crap! After spending Almost $20,000 you would think we would get something that would withstand the test of time. Anyhow, we got in contact with Brandon who is one of the store managers. He has been polite and kind and actually came to our house and agreed that the cabinet doors had to be replaced with an upgrade or we had to be financially compensated or he would do both. That was almost a year and a half ago. To date we have not had any resolution! We were offered $2000 in compensation which was laughable. We were also told time and time again, over and over again through text messaging with Brandon that new replacement doors were on their way......or better yet they arrived at the store but were poor quality.....or they were lost in route or some other nonsense. It's amazing how quickly we got the cabinets after ordering them but getting just the doors replaced cannot happen. This is beyond ridiculous. We have been patient but our patience has now gone. At this point, we are forced to reach out to their corporate office to see if we can get some resolution. BUYER BEWARE.....make sure you check out the thickness and quality of your cabinet doors when buying. Have them show you the actual size of the doors that you will be buying and remember if you go middle of the road you will get plastic and hollow sounding doors.

I'm usually not a fan of big box retail but the employees at Lowes in Paso do their best to help people find what they need and some of them have a lot of knowledge that can be helpful for DIY. Al was extremely helpful in the building Plumbing area and Dan is great in the Pro area.

They showed a product available in the local store. I paid for it online and drove to the store only to be told that they DIDN'T have it. An hour of wasted time for the round trip.

I am so disappointed with the roof installation I ordered through the Lowe's store in Paso Robles, CA. The roofs on my home and my granny cottage were installed in 2019. The first rain came and the granny cottage roof leaked. Contractor came out and "fixed" it. Now, 3 years later, when we are actually getting rain, it is leaking again. The roof on the main house is leaking now, too! I called the customer service line, and they told me that the labor warranty is only good for 2 years and that I should call my homeowner's insurance. They didn't even offer to come inspect to ascertain that it was a labor issue and not a materials issue. I won't go into the hassles I had with the contractor at the time of installation. I am so upset and angry about having to deal with a leaky roof so soon after installation. NEVER again will I hire Lowe's installation services for ANYTHING! Terrible! Don't fall for their financing options... it isn't worth it! Shameful quality of work and shameful customer service.

Always great service at Lowes. But here is better than great. They treat the customers well and are extra helpful. I told the clerk about a price difference and she made the changes, no further questions.

I've been going to Lowe's for the last year. We've had nothing but very good experiences and the products they sell. We frequent this store anywhere from 1-2 times per month. If Home Depot doesn't have it then Lowes usually does (and vice versa). The prices are competitive with Home Depot as well. The one knock we have is their check out area. The self check out is only two registers and it gets congested quickly. I'm then forced to interact with another human being (cashier) which is against my anti-social personality. Usually their cordial so it's not that painful.

I would give a 0 star review if I could. We purchased 3 custom exterior doors and 2 closed doors from Lowe's February 2021, paid in full for the doors and installation. Fast forward to September 2022 and the three exterior doors are incompletely and incorrectly installed and the closed doors still stored in my garage. At every opportunity Lowe's has dropped the ball with communication, project management and workmanship. The custom doors were ordered incorrectly. One was installed even though it is clearly too small. The installer tried to fill the open space with old baseboard material and foam. I don't think the screws even reach the framing of the house. The installer put nothing under the threshold of the doors so the metal flexes when stepped on. The trim for the front doors was never put on so I see the foam and boards in my entry way (has been like this since Janruary). No one returns my calls and I have to stalk the store calling over and over in order to speak with anyone. I wish I had stuck with my original doors because the new doors do not function properly and Lowe's will not fix the problems.
