“I loved this place so much. The beds were comfortable, the decor was a blend of tasteful and whimsy that made me almost forget I wasn't at home. Two minor quibbles: one slow elevator for the whole place, and the free eggs at breakfast were... not great, but neither of those was a deal breaker, and I'll search for Oxford properties where I can in the future.”

“I cannot say enough good things about the decor, cleanliness, staff and lovely energy surrounding our 2-day stay at the Farmhouse i Paso Robles. A SF Bay area resident myself, I met my daughter and son-in-law from the LA beach area for a banner birthday celebration midway in Paso Robles before the couple headed off to Big Sur. The choice of lodging appointments was sweetly sophisticated and uncommonly tasteful throughout. At breakfast they even had 3 kinds of freshly made excellent croissants, and dairy free yogurt served along with other regular healthful fare! Our visit time happened to coincide with both Hannukah and the Christmas season. This soothing, light experience was an unexpected, yet entirely welcome, gift: there was openness to the sky through skylights in the high ceilings of the breakfast area, a gorgeous tree with gold and white lights, and artful beauty in essentially every direction we looked. :) :) :) All 3 of us loved our time at the Farmhouse!!!!”

“Stables Inn was a nice surprise. Despite technically being a motel, it surpasses many hotels in terms of quality and comfort. The entire place was spotless, with a modern design that gave the impression it was brand new. The bathroom was immaculate, which is a crucial factor for me, as there's nothing worse than outdated or unclean bathrooms. The mattress was comfortable (despite some reviews suggesting otherwise) and was complemented by quality bedding. I really liked the enclosed common seating area, complete with a gas heating stove, and the availability of tea (and coffee). The outdoor island in the parking lot with its three gas fire pits was also nice. The Stables Inn was the perfect balance between being cute and modern, sophisticated yet casual. This unusual combination contributed to its unique feel, making it an exceptionally pleasant stay at a fair price.”

“My friend heard wonderful things word-of-mouth from her friend who's been here twice. She booked a girls trip for 6 girls for her 40th. Even though the weather was rainy, the property is exquisite and exceeded expectations with the level of detail. Steve and Amy were both very helpful and responsive. Steve built a fire for us :) Every room has drinking water pitchers and glasses, there's a huge library of books, records, etc. The price is very reasonable for what you get! I want to come back with my family now. Very unique and special, everyone should visit :)”

“Wanted to say how much we enjoyed staying at The Piccolo in Paso Robles. Came here for 2 nights in January. The location is fantastic, right off the main square of town and parking was great with no charge. The staff was pleasant and accommodating and the rooms were nice and comfortable. Each morning an amble breakfast was provided with no additional charge. The decor and ambience of the hotel was cute and very well updated. I do not hesitate to recommend staying here!”

“Best hotel in Paso Robles. Very homey style rooms with lots of space! Perfectly off the freeway and surrounded by Starbucks, Denny's, other restaurants and gas stations. Location is also quiet despite it's busy place. All rooms have the basic amenities. Bathrooms are very spacious and modern. Beds are large and comfortable. Our king bedroom had a couch. Lots of parking with charging stations. Staff is nice and they have complimentary cookies and muffins everyday despite not having breakfast. Really comfortable stay when visiting the town. Recommend you come Paso Robles for the wineries, museums and historical places, restaurants, and especially the Sensorio attraction.”

“If I could give more stars I would. Great staff, great place, older but clean and comfy. I don't normally bother with leaving reviews, but I was impressed by how welcoming and wholesome this place was. A nice little blast from the past. Thank you Frank for a wonderful experience! “A very well thought out plan, built thoughtfully:living room area with a couch with some separation from the bed (TV in each area);blackout curtains behind curtains, helping sleep;ergonomic chair that supports back;toilet somewhat separated from the sink (washing area);bathtub with non-slip surface & a very long non-slip matt;slippers & robes in the bathroom provided by the hotel already;microwave and refrigerator;covered parking space;quiet area aiding sleep.Only one thing I can think of is a central heating/AC instead of one on the wall, but it did not bother me for sleep.Exceptional service as well; Cheryl the daughter of the owners:delivered the exact number of towels and blankets I requested promptly (none of the other 3-4 star hotels I stayed did or had the size);matched the price from a website;showed the room to me to decide whether to stay there.Definitely will come back if around this area.”

“We stayed while visiting family for Christmas. They had a welcome bag filled with refreshments for my husband and I. The most heart-warming part was including a dog toy for my dogs and some dog cookies. They made us all feel well cared for.Rooms: I was very impressed with how spacious and clean the rooms were as well as the walk in shower. We really enjoyed our stay”

“This hotel was a reasonable price and had a nice manager who let me check in 1 hour early. Housekeeping was quick and had a great work ethic. The rooms had a nice fridge, microwave, tv, and AC/Heater. Just sucked the remotes had Netflix, Hulu, and Disney but they’re just for show aka a tease. That being said the beds are comfortable and are clean.”

“The location is good has quick freeway access. The hotel is nice, clean, safe, quiet and very comfy. My room had a nice private balcony and surprisingly the walls were not paper thin like so many other hotels I've stayed at. Daniel at the front desk was extremely hospitable and helpful. I had an issue with the 3rd party that I booked through ( i hate booking 3rd party because it seems like there is always an issue) . However Daniel resolved is quickly and conveniently. Very nice man, I give him 5 stars. Housekeepers are very kind and on top of any requests made. All n all I felt very lucky to have found a place like this especially for the great price it was above and beyond my expectations!!Rooms: Very clean and super comfortable. Shampoo, conditioner, hand soap and lotion In walls dispensers. ?Safety: Felt very safe and secure.Walkability: Can walk half a block to the fairgrounds, a slew of restaurants and gas stations, park, and grocery store.Noteworthy details: Really great staff, very kind, accommodating, and attentive.”

“Stuff was very friendly and accommodating, but $600 for three nights and Courtyard by Marriott no longer serves free breakfast which I was not the only one surprised, it's too expensive. I'd rather stay in a motel 6 and walk to breakfast somewhere even though the room was quiet and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. There was nothing to walk to for food from this hotel. And the prices they charged for food including breakfast was very high, even though the very nice staff custom made me a few eggs and toast they were very nice. Still, I won't stay in another Marriott by Courtyard because they do not serve free breakfast anymore and they were too expensive and there was nowhere to walk to get food in this particular courtyard.”

“Small motel that was recently remodeled. Rooms were very nice and clean, beds were very comfortable. Right near downtown Paso. Great for the price, especially considering most of the day is spent out at the wineries.”

“I like this hotel , I been several times there, I just got upset for the room service lady's they wanted me to get out of the room when I told the manager I needed to sleep during the day because work was at night. And you can listen everything people talk o listen to outside the room.”
