Open hours? Ahhhh there not real I guess because they close and open as whoever is the manager I'm assuming wants. Don't be surprised going an hour to 30 minutes to be yelled to leave.

This store is the worst place to shop because the gray hair lady didn’t respect to her customer. I went to this place, and their male restroom is out of order, then I saw “no male” on the post of female restroom. I asked that lady how I can deal with my personal emergency, and she told me that I have to suffer. I finished my shopping later on, and the same lady became a cashier. She took the box I used to carry the goods, and said I am not allowed to use an empty box from the store, according to her store manager. Looks like the employee here just wanted to give their shoppers a hard time.

If I could give a lower score I would. Never in my life have I been treated like a liar and a criminal while simply trying to make a purchase. I am new to the Paso Robles area. I have been going to this store at least 3 times per week since moving here a few months ago. When I first began going, I noticed that I was being carefully watched. Almost too much. But I ignored it. As someone who has worked in retail and customer service for years I know that sometimes that is simply apart of the job. I continued to go, I made sure to dress in a fashion that would not pose as a threat to the employees. I even attempted to make conversation on many visits. I made sure I was clearly visible at all time and of course paid without issue. All in the hopes of showing the workers that I was a consistent paying customer and not an issue. The looks persisted despite my effort. Today I went in attempting to buy alcohol. I'm 28 years old and presented my ID even before being asked. I was denied. The reason given was that the cashier had seen someone handing me a $3. $3! I was attempting to purchase alcohol, a gallon juice, and an energy drink. The cashier assumed that we were together. I informed her that was not the case. The person I was speaking to was a frequent customer of the store. This is how I knew her. I tried to explain to cashier that we were not together. I showed her the amount that was given to me. Common sense should have been enough to recognize that $3 was not enough to contribute or purchase the alcohol or any of the items for that matter. She insisted that we must be together and thus the customer needed their id as well. Graciously the customer went to obtain their ID as to not cause further issues for me. When she returned with her ID and reiterated that we indeed WERE NOT together. I was still denied. Never mind that the cashiers ( one of which I had purchased from numerous times) assumed without cause that (the only other customer of the same race) HAD to have been with me . Never mind that I had purchased alcohol NUMEROUS times from the store while speaking to customers in line and NOT been asked to present both of our ID's. I have even been fortunate enough to have had other customers pay for my purchase and never had an issue . If the experience was not bad enough it was the DISGUSTING customer service and attitude of a woman name Arion and her boyfriend or male coworker that really set things over the top. Arion was so busy gossiping and flirting that she couldn't even be bothered to attempt to be professional. I attempted to speak to the manager but naturally I am the odd ball out so I must be the liar amongst the group. Ironically I watched this exact experience happen to another customer prior and the experiences could not have been more different. I try not to be "that" person . But I have never been so disrespected and embarrassed. I will file a complaint EVERY SINGLE DAY, through EVERY SINGLE PLATFORM if I need to until something is done . I will NOT allow this to be brushed to the side.

This store has really gone downhill, It's the closest grocery store to my house so I have been shopping there for over 10 years. The employees are so overwhelmed they seem to have lost all interest in customer service. Today was the last straw, the lines for checkout once again were no less than 10 carts deep and when asked why they don't open additional registers they replied "We don't have anybody else." Every time I go there the lines are full of customers buying thousands of dollars worth of products but they can't afford to hire a few more cashiers? The prices are not that low to justify waiting upwards of 45 minutes to an hour or more at checkout every time I go there. The parking lot is a mess the cart returns are always full as well as the trash cans overflowing at the front entrance. Speaking of trash, it would be nice to see someone clean the trash from the carts before returning them to the cart return area. As for the food, be sure to wash your produce thoroughly as I have witnessed produce that had fell onto the dirty floor be picked up and put right back on the shelf without washing. Last visit! When I called to ask about the extremely long wait at the checkout I declared I would not be back and they have lost a customer, the employee reply "Ok thank you." Well, Food 4 Less here is my honest review and you are very welcome!

Just went through Noah's line, I know I'm not young and cute but a simple hi how are you? Not much to ask. I said thanks have a great day and he said thanks. I don't think he would of said anything to me had I not said something first... just rude. I worked there for 25 years and as a former manager , that was not ok

I don't have a problem with the store but with the cashiers they always have a horrible attitude except the manager seems like I'm going to order for free which is annoying

One of the worst places to shop as far as customer experience. Dropped my cards in the bathroom and within 30 mins asked if they had been found they had and they refused to give them to me without my ID which had been stolen so I could not provide it to them. The card included the only way for me to make income and all of my food stamps for the month so I will have to wait weeks before being able to provide these things for my family. All because they fell out of my pocket. This is not the fist time I've experience extreme behavior over an id at this location they also forced me, on another occasion, to provide my id because I spoke to the customer infront of me who happened to be buying alcohol. I didn't even know this person. This is why I never spend my own money here or at any of their locations forced to do orders here through my job but will be avoiding those orders from now on.
