$100 just for the appointment, another $100 for the labor, and $67 for the parts. The service was less than 20 min. NOT WORTH IT! Our dryer was making a noise so we called them. The guy showed up and was less than friendly. I showed him the dryer in the garage and he got to work. I left him in there to go inside and when I came back out he had the washer tilted back! He said he saw a screw on the floor and put it back for me and this would save us a service call but how did he see the screw? There was no screw on the floor. Very suspicious for a guy that wasn't very pleasant. When done with the dryer it made a different noise than before. I asked him why and he said it always made that noise but we could hear it because of the noise we complained about. NOT TRUE! It now sounds different but no further explanation given. USE A LOCAL HANDY MAN!!! Or LEARN TO DO IT YOURSELF!!!!!

This was the second place I went to to get a dryer. I knew I wanted a Maytag because they have always been really dependable and last a long time. The owner was really helpful. He showed me the one that met my needs, didn't push for one that was fancy and had more than I wanted. The best part was that he didn't even try to sell me an extended warranty. He told me that my old Maytag was a 27 inch but this was a 29 inch and that I should go home and measure it. I came back the next day and bought it. The woman who works there closed the shop to meet my husband at the warehouse thirty minutes later and by the end of the day I had a dryer all installed. I couldn't be happier.

Owner is super friendly and more importantly knowledgeable about the products. He wanted to make sure we were happy with our choice. If you need an applicance go see Dutch

We needed an ignitor for our stove. My husband went into the store and found an ignitor that was close but would need to be modified to work and asked the woman at the store if he could return it if it wasn't the right part. She said yes, he would be able to return it if it wasn't the right part and he bought it. Well, it isn't exactly the right part and we were able to find the exact ignitor online (for 1/3 the price Dutch charged us) so he went to return the part. He was told they absolutely would not take the part back and the woman who sold it to him lied to his face while he was in the store, saying she never said he could return it. So now we have a $20 part that we paid $60 that we don't need, can't use, and can't return. Do not use this business.

This place is frustrating! our 6 month old fridge was having issues. We called Dutch three times and nobody answered during business hours. I called whirlpool and they told us that Dutch accepted an appointment for Monday ( after being told they were booked until Wednesday). No contact from them about this appointment. we contacted whirlpool who emailed and contacted them. My husband was able to finally get Dutch on the phone on Wednesday. This was 5 days after we started calling them ! When my husband explained the issue ( breakers are being tripped) the repairman / owner argued that since it was plugged into a GFCI it voids the warranty. (I also had an issue with the fridge freezing over. ) He had not even looked at the fridge yet. He also tried to cancel the appointment then . (when my husband talked to whirlpool the GFCI plug wasn't a issue per the manual for our fridge. ) when the repairman/ owner arrived , he had a negative attitude. he was staring and glaring at me , which made me uncomfortable. He acted like he already " knew " what the problem was and was suspicious of what I was saying . he unscrewed the bottom part of the fridge and spent 2-3 minutes looking at it. Then wanted payment . When I stated this was a warranty issue, he began to argue about it telling me that I need to pay $98 as he found nothing wrong. (we had talked to whirpool 2-3 times already) I told him to step outside ( as he is still giving me the creeps) and now I call my husband to call the lady at the store, Anna. Anna wasn't answering the phone . Again. As I am waiting for Anna to answer, the repairman then comes back to my front door demanding I pay him .(fridge is still under warranty. we have had it 6months ) I told him you're harassing me and bullying me into paying you . He is blocking my front door and I am unable to leave my own home. between Dutch and whirlpool, I'm getting inconsistent stories as to whether the warranty covers the service call or not . Per whirlpool, " labor , parts and service call are covered." Yet the owner made me pay $98 ..... i have no idea if he fixed the issue . But I DO NOT want him coming back nor do I want to deal with them! if you want to be treated badly and get inconsistent stories then use this company. But lesson learned - I'll shop elsewhere!

Awful, awful, awful. Terrible customer service by the person answering the phone. Price gauging to the max. $300 to replace a tiny part and 5 minutes of labor. Dispicable. STAY AWAY and find another option for your appliances. if they want to stay in business, they need to fire the horrible woman that answers the phone

Hispanic lady up front about as welcoming as a rattlesnake and helpful as an ejection seat in a helicopter. Made like I was asking her to dig a train tunnel with a spoon when I asked if it were possible to cross reference a part number. Arthur, you need different staff.

Go to lowes or home depot and save yourself the hassle of dealing with the miserable woman in the office.

I give Dutch Maytag a big 0. I purchased a dryer many years ago from them and I needed to buy parts. My husband took my dryer apart and it did not need the parts I purchased - which was $70.00. When I purchased the parts I did not receive a receipt and NO ONE said that the parts could not be returned. The parts were not even opened!!!!!! I called to see if I could return the parts and was interested in purchasing a new dryer. They said our policy is NO RETURN! I was taken back - I always try to support our local stores! I could have ordered the parts online cheaper with an excellent return policy. That was my mistake- now I will purchase a new dryer and give someone else my business. $70 they could have returned and made a $1000 plus sale! Sometimes policy is a mistake - especially when it costs a sale!

The women who work in the office are very RUDE and condescending. They also contradict one another but take it out on customer. Also, they gave misleading information that the manufacturer of the appliance verified was totally inaccurate. But if you attempt to relay this info to Dutch Maytag, they'll hang up on you.
