“Really cool shop that will do the more difficult and hard work that other places won't do. A few months earlier in southern California I put a hitch on my civic for a bike rack and RV tote tank. When I towed the civic wheels up the hitch was too close to the ground and hitting on everything. I had a trip from California to NY coming up and wanted to lift the civic up a little bit to keep the hitch from scraping. Smitty ordered a lift kit and tires with short notice and scheduled me in. I gave them a $500 deposit. When the parts got delayed because something went wrong with the shipping, the scheduled appointment had to be postponed, I only had a week and half before I was leaving and already put down a deposit! Smitty was able track down the shipping, plan based on the ETA of the kit, and accommodate me in time by fitting me into their schedule.
While waiting for the job to get done I overheard the owner talking to another customer. He replaced something on his car (not sure what it was) but it was something additional that they found while they were working on the guys car. The customer asked him how much he owed for that and the owner said, "Don't worry about it."
I towed the civic all the way back to NY over the course of 7 days. I don't think the hitch hit the ground once.
They do business in good faith, they do the custom and crazy modifications that others won't do. Thank you, you guys rock.”

“I had a great experience with G&H Autobody after they finished repairing damage from an accident. They were so friendly and easy to work with. Not only did they fix it to look like new, I felt like they went above and beyond by washing the outside of my jeep and what seemed like a light vacuuming on the inside. They communicated with me well, stayed with their estimated time frame, and handled everything directly with the insurance company. To top it off they even arranged rides with enterprise and when they couldn't get ahold of them, Gus personally drove me and my toddler there. I highly recommend this shop!”

“Tom and his team were great in all the ways that mattered!We took my girlfriend's car here and had a great experience. Tom gave me a quote that was 5 to 10 percent better than the competition. When I explained the financial pressure that my girlfriend was under, he worked with us on which parts could be after-market and reduce the price further (at the cost of taking longer to order and ship). We worked together to find the right mix of price and speed that worked for us.I called Tom every few days for updates and he was patient and thorough with his communications with me. (Ie, he put up with me being a pain).In the end, we got exactly what we wanted at a great price, with great service. What more can you ask for.I read a negative review below that said his office was a mess. I can confirm that it's a mess and that I don't care. Rainbow is obviously a family owned shop that's been in business, happily serving local customers, for years. I'm fine with a shop that lacks the professional office of a large impersonal corporation! Just give me the right service at the right price and I won't judge your office clutter.”

Then the guy at Delta RV said “have you tried the filter store?” Who knew we had a store here that just sells filters? Awesome! I called them Monday morning and had the part by 3:00, exact fit, on the road at 3:30, no issues.Check NAPA first, quick, great service and Quality.”
“Great experience, from the first phone call, to the time I was handed my keys, I couldn't have been more pleased. My car was hit on the passenger side. Needed new bumper, headlight, front side panel, right front door and hood. As a caregiver, I couldn't get my mom in the front seat as my door wouldn't open. It was such a mess. Everyone at Davis was so accommodating, kind and professional. Very honest with letting me know it would take a bit of time to get all the different parts needed. Once they got my car and started working on it, it took a day longer than estimated. I got a call regarding the completion date change. Great customer service! When I picked up the vehicle I was so very pleased with the quality of work. Great paint match! Great experience! I will continue giving this establishment any and all business!!!”

“Big shout-out to Captain for going above and beyond! He not only helped me pick out my dream truck and worked with me to make my payments exactly where I wanted them to be, but my fiancé and I were on vacation from Nevada when we bought my truck, and somehow the paperwork got messed up, and my truck ended up registered in California. When my fiancé first notified them of the mistake that had been made, he was told (by someone else) that there was nothing they could do and that we would have to contact the DMV in California. We ended up calling back and were able to get a hold of Captain, who immediately apologized for the mistake and assured us that he would look into it, knowing that we had explained our situation of living in Nevada, where we would be registering our truck. He called us back within hours and told us we would have a full refund in the mail in a couple of days. Everyone makes mistakes, and things can often not go as planned, but it's how you handle a situation that makes a difference. Not only did Captain provide outstanding customer service from the moment we started looking for a truck, but when things got a little messed up, he went above and beyond to fix the mistake and make his customers happy and excited to buy any vehicle from him in the future. “Brassworks rebuilt the radiator for my 1930 Packard with amazing craftsmanship and excellent service. Lee was up front with me explaining how long the process might take and the costs involved. I can only imagine what a challenge it must be ordering radiator core material from England during a pandemic! For a 91 year old car that's been in the family for 63 of them, the time it took to carefully restore the radiator was well worth it. I almost lost my breath when I saw the serial plate that had been buried under years worth of paint. I opted to drive up and pick up the radiator rather than ship it, and was reassured that the radiator was spray-foam packed and would have survived any shipping method had I chose to ship rather than pick up. This was a great excuse to relax in Paso Robles for a few days. After replacing the radiator I noticed steam leaking out on its maiden run. I called Brassworks, and they offered to pay the shipping costs to research the problem. It was simpler just to take a day trip to Paso Robles once again. When I arrived, Lee stopped whatever he was doing, called the guys over who worked on the radiator and proceeded to undergo testing on the spot. Fortunately the radiator was not the problem - I had neglected to replace the gasket for the thermostat housing, and it was obvious that was the source of the leak. During that process Lee took the time to explain the radiator testing processes and the physics involved. So - user error, and a pleasant drive to and from Paso on a beautiful winter's day. Not bad after all! The Brassworks team are true craftsman and stand by their work. I wish they would rebuild carburetors too!”
“Purchased an engine rebuild kit in 2000. 0.30 over 455 with the JM18-20 cam and valve train. A local machine shop did the rebuild. (Mopar guy). Ported my C casting heads and installed the big valves. 24 years later the engine still runs great. I can’t remember who I dealt with but they walked me through the whole purchase. No problems. Not sure what happened recently.”
