My husband and I bought a $3600 mattress from this place. Let me start of by saying that the "Manger" as he calls himself (Steve Bates) at the Paso Robles store has got to have some of the worst customer service EVER! He first told us to expect our mattress in about 2 weeks. We received our mattress over a month after purchasing it. When we finally received our bed, we didn't get the bed frame we ordered. It wasn't even on the order list.... My husband ordered the wrong firmness and we went down to discuss options with Steve to exchange it for the correct mattress and Steve was very disrespectful and stated that they don't offer warranty or refunds. We just got the mattress yesterday! He had the nerve to tell me "Do you expect a Non Happy wife refund"... Like really? All we want to do is exchange for the correct mattress that we had tested in the store. The mattress we received is so hard that we mine as well be sleeping on our hard wood floors! I pray that we don't have to go the legal route to get what we paid for.I would't recommend this place at all!!

These folks really know what they are doing!A local staple in the industry, this sleep store has the best selection and best prices around. Even if they don't have the item you need onsite, they can order it for you!Steve was a huge help with my purchase. I was in the market for a new futon mattress and he set me up with a high quality product. My guests are marveling at the comfort when they stay over and I often fall asleep while in the living room now because it is so darn comfortable!I never thought buying a new bed would be one of the best customer service experiences of my life, but here we are!

We started our search for a new mattress, started at America's Mattress first. After meeting Tim our search was over. He put us in an awesome bed. We later met Steve in the store following up on some pillows they had ordered for us. Awesome customer service! Great Team at America's Mattress!!

There are so many potential options for making a mattress purchase it's dizzying. That said, incredibly thankful to have found this place! The staff are very friendly and helpful. Great amount of selection with all top brands. The staff was super knowledgeable and took the time to help us find just the right mattress. No high pressure sales tactics either- more about ensuring customer satisfaction with the product. We love supporting local businesses especially those that are family owned and operated so we were thrilled to find this place. Thx Steve and Tim! We're happy customers.

The service at America's Mattress was absolutely fantastic. The salesman was no pressure and very knowledgeable. We had a wonderful experience and would recommend to anyone. Also, it's locally owned and operated.

Amazing service and extremely helpful. Got an amazing deal on a purple mattress and they even gave me an upgrade on my bedframe free of charge. The delivery guys were also very quick and efficient, made what would have been hours worth of delivering and setup done in only an hour. Would definitely recommend

Joe has the worst customer service. Wasn't very helpful at all and seemed more annoyed that we were in there so close to close of business. I ended up making my purchase elsewhere. If I could give HIM a negative rating I would.

What a nightmare of an experience this was. (Strike #2 is the worst!) Strike 1, mattress didn't arrive on the day or time of delivery, which is frustrating when you arrange your work schedule to be home. When they finally delivered, they provided a 20 minute heads up and luckily I was home that day, had no idea they were coming. Strike 2, after almost 90 days, the mattress still felt nothing like the one in the store and when I went back to make the exchange it felt like an argument. In fact, I had come back 3 times only to be continually talked out of my exchange. Come to find out it was the owner who was telling me that it was because my house is too cold or that I need to get a quilted cover or that I needed a mattress topper. Naively, I spent ANOTHER $400 on a topper and the mattress cover he recommended after spending $4k for a mew mattress. After that still didn't help, I went back AGAIN and told the other salesman what had happened on my previous visits. He admitted the owner was trying to save the money he loses on comfort exchanges. The employee agreed that it was messed up and that this happens sometimes where the owner looses money. Strike 3, small, but after what we've went through we just wanted to have a good mattress and be done with the lack of professionalism experienced. Even after what we went through, we had to pay the exchange fee... okay... but they called on 3 different occasions to collect my credit card number. Who knows what post it note my credit card is floating around on the first 2 times. I am super understanding when it comes to things like miscommunication, accidents, delays and much more... but I am NOT okay with a businessman taking advantage of his customers to save some money. Especially after every other little thing went wrong- just do right by your customer.

My son asked for us to redo his bedroom for his birthday and he needed a new mattress. We headed here first and we are so glad we did! They not only shared details about the differences of each mattress, they answered all of our questions! We had a budget and they didn’t disappoint! They had the mattress that we wanted shipped to the store in time for us to pick it up and finish my sons room for his birthday! We love supporting local businesses and America’s Mattress store had the best customer service from start to finish! We’ll definitely be back in the future! Thanks guys

I have purchased all of my bed's here since the store opened over 20 years ago. I'm always impressed and pleased with the quality of the mattresses, the service, and kindness and generosity of the business owners and staff.I just went in today to pay off the balance of my last purchase and spoke to the store owner for quite a long time. His integrity honesty and sense of wellness for his business and customers is definitely refreshing. We had a lovely conversation.I suggest anyone looking for a bed to stop by and talk to the owner. He's definitely what business owners should be all about. And he never brought out his cell phone to text anyone the whole time! Lol! Love this place!

I walked into the store knowing I needed a new mattress yet had no idea what kind! The customer service I received was exceptional especially these days!!Tim greeted me immediately asked some questions about my sleep and comfort then directed me to several choices. He was patient, as I had to try them over and over before deciding. He was professional, friendly, honest and knowledgeable. My bed was delivered as scheduled!Thank you!!!

Experience with Steve in the store was great. Very nice person and helped us find what we were looking for. He would get 5 stars! Four weeks later when we still had not received our delivery after already calling the store to inquire, we called to cancel the order. Immediately Joseph called about the delivery. He was rude and outright lied saying he tried to deliver twice already, even though he had not called to schedule an appointment. When we called him on his lie because we have dogs and a security gate he had nothing to say. He showed up to deliver the next day and was rude and unprofessional. Would think twice of shopping here if you plan on using the delivery service which, I might add, was not free as some other places provide.
