I am impressed by the variety of food at the hot bar and salad bar station. The price may be a bit higher than Amazon Fresh store, but the customer gets more choices to choose from. The food are fresh and healthy too!

Whole Foods used to be an "oh, wow" trip. Cool stuff I can't get at a regular supermarket and staff people that bend over backwards to make the trip a cut above other places. Unfortunately, over the last few years, it's not better than Ralphs or Stater Bros. For example, we see something on sale starting on Wednesday on WFs app , head for the store on Thursday, and learn that the product is already sold out. That happens with fish fairly often. It happened last week with Organic ground turkey. The case was ampty. A guy in the meat department, not a manager and somewhat defensive, said it's not his fault, because the shipment didn't arrive from the supplier. My take from years in retail? Grab any of the other ground turkey packs, re-wrap if necessary, and price it at the Prime discount sale price. The customer walks away happy and continues shopping. Instead, we walk away pissed, stop shopping, and won't bother making a return trip.

The worst FRIES! But I did get fruits and veggies. Come here. It's up in the hills. Chill people. Service looked calm. Ambiance not an issue.

I've always loved Wholefoods, for there fresh produce, meat, special snacks. However my last shopping experience (in the morning of Feb 18) was horrible! Because of shortage of eggs, every customer is limited to buy only two cartons of eggs. Meaning that a household of ten is treated the same as a household of one. I was there was all my fours kids, and the five of us wanted to buy four cartons. I tried to ask the cashier to make my older daughter to take two cartoons on her card and so he didn't violate the policy and we could have a little more eggs with less hassle. He looked at me with a cold and strict face and put a definite NO to us. When did Wholefoods become a place like this?

i've had some hit and misses from whole foods, however the price i pay for those misses do not justify how bad those misses are.. for example as see in this picture one tiny vanilla bean cheese cake and one tiny lime cheese cake for $11.25!! they were flavorless!!! where is the vanilla bean flavor the lime cheese cake tasted the same as the vanilla bean cheese cake!! wow, how does that happen? i bought halp a pound of fresh flavorless roasted turkkey frimbthe deli, is turkey supposed to be gray?... i recommend nothing from this expensive market .

NGL the arroyo parkway location is a lot nicer than this one, but this location is the closest to Arcadia :( This Whole Foods felt a lot more like a conventional supermarket than what I've come to expect from a WF "experience". It's in a strip mall ("Hastings Ranch") and has neighbors in Starbucks, Wells Fargo bank, out of business boutiques. The mall feels a bit outdated. I normally spend more time that I should in a WF but not today. I had been harassed for wearing a mask at the Wells Fargo bank next door, and was hoping to find some refuge in ticking off errands at the WF. I got what I needed from this store but didn't need to stay any longer.

Just generally unhelpful, rude employees at this location. I hope that the management can identify this as an area to improve. For fresh produce, try Taylor's in Sierra Madre. I only go to this WF when I have to, because the younger, less mature employees are consistently lacking in customer service skills. It may just be a Gen Z thing, but I don't get this at other WF locations.

The freshly made, creamy, cheesy mac'n cheese made me so hungry, but the $12.99 per pound, up from $9.99 per pound (also outrageous), was too much money for me to spend, and especially with my property tax coming due before December 10. The CEO(s) are quite greedy, and are most likely crooks anyway, Then one of THEM says Americans are obese because they make WRONG food choices, Lol! You sell mac n' cheese at Whole Foods, dummy, and pasta is a starch which converts to sugar in the body, and is stored as fat, if it does not get burned off. Cheese is an artery clogger, and yes, I have a weakness for cheeses, and other dairy products, unfortunately for ME!!! So much food gets wasted due to high prices, and this particular CEO has many non wealthy folks pissed off. When I can eat at a restaurant for what I have to pay at your salad/ hot food bar/ deli, then something is truly WRONG!!! What do these CEO's do to help the disabled, the senior citizens, the poor, the middle class, the homeless? How much food does Whole Foods dump out each week, rather than passing it around to the most desperate? It is NOT always about poor food choices, but about outrageously unfair, inflated food costs. Greed versus need, and Judgement Day is coming. So is famine, both Government created, and also through the WRATH of the Lord. Wasting food, or anything else for that matter is disgusting, outrageous, and downright evil. Yes, your mac n' cheese tastes very good when fresh, as I have bought it before, but you are ripping off your customers, and former customers to the MAX, which makes you a bunch of CROOKS, as well as despicable. I will cook at home, rather than go shopping at retail stores WHEN I am hungry, and practically next door to Whole Foods!!! SHAME ON YOU, CEO'S.

I have experienced covert acts of racism (I'm an Asian female) from several of their employees here and there at this Pasadena Whole Foods location ever since I moved to this area. Never experienced this before at another branch when I used to live in Playa Vista. I have encountered these subtle acts of discrimination from some of the cashiers to several of their door greeters at this Pasadena location. Didn't really start noticing this till my little girl brought this to my attention one time. We brought our items to the conveyor belt, and I said hi to the cashier before unloading my cart. The cashier didn't make eye contact, said nothing, and just continued ringing up my items. When she was done with us, she handed us the receipt and immediately looked at the next customer (non-Asian) behind us and enthusiastically greeted him, "Hi, did you find everything okay today?" My 8-yo daughter brought this to my attention later and asked, "Why didn't the cashier say hi to us at first?" I brushed it off and said maybe she was busy. My daughter then said, "But she said hi to the lady in front of us and to the guy behind us." It was such a heart-wrenchingly painful conversation and topic that I had to have with my daughter at such a young age about the intricacies and subtle acts of racism minorities have to deal with everyday living in America. You'd think that my 8-year-old would not have to encounter this type of discrimination so soon in such a safe and progressive part of town in Pasadena. But apparently not. I again experienced this form of treatment another time at the front entrance. As I was approaching the store with my cart, I spotted a greeter at the entrance and said hi to her. She just looked at me for a good few seconds, said nothing, and just looked past me to greet another customer (non-Asian) behind me instead. There was no common courtesy reciprocated at all. I work with customers on a daily basis myself, and I believe I have at least a basic understanding of customer service and compassion- being polite and respectful of others. I am not even asking much. Just a little basic human decency is all that I am asking for. You say hi when you meet another person. But of course, I might be asking for too much with our current society's standards. Sorry, Whole Foods in Pasadena. I am absolutely disappointed by your customer service standards. It really leaves much to be desired.

If you like Whole Foods this Whole Foods is good. It's not one of the new Whole Foods but everyone there is really nice and the food is good and I'm not really a yelp review guy but I was surprised to see that this had three stars so I'm giving out of five star review because that has been my experience living near it for three years and now I'm just writing another sentence so that yelp feels like this is a long enough review then I'm gonna go to Whole Foods and order a pizza because they're $10 on Friday and that's a pretty good deal.
