EXTREMELY BAD with appointments and staying in touch! I saw a promising car; the craigslist post was already up for 9 days. Armen said it might be sold. A couple of days later, I asked if the car was sold. No reply for two more days, then he said it was still available and "I will be more than happy to show you the car when it is convenient for you." I suggested two times; we agreed on one of them for the next day. Four hours later, he wanted to make it later. I reluctantly said OK. I made the trip, but when I got there, the office was dark and locked! When I called, Armen said, "So sorry! The car was sold last night. I forgot to tell you...". GRRRR!!

Armen was initially a pleasure to deal with. Very polite and accomodating. Unfortunately, it turned out that he sold me a car with an oil leak that required a $1700 repair. He did not disclose there was an oil leak, and refused to show me the paperwork from an inspection that his mechanic had done. I can only assume that's because his mechanic noted the leak or cleaned it up without repairing. I later was able to obtain service records of the vehicle from the prior owner where it was documented that the oil leak existed previously, just a few months before it came into my possession. It's now absolutely clear to me that Armen is a liar and hid this information from me. The work his mechanic did do, that was disclosed to me, was replacing brake pads and front lower control arms. The parts used were cheap Chinese parts. The pads were replaced without new rotors, which has led to my rotors wearing unevenly and becoming warped. Another expensive repair that I must now do. While Armen is a very pleasant fellow, I do not trust him or the work his mechanic does. If I were looking for a new vehicle again, I would definitely search elsewhere.

Armen was great from the off. Very engaging and clear communications from the start all the way through to the sale and beyond the sale as well. He was flexible on the timings we could meet, he understood our issues we’ve had with previous second hand car dealers and was very honest about the car and the process through out. He is a credit to his profession and I would definitely recommend buying from him.

I found Armen to be quite unprofessional. I made an appt. with him to see a car for sell, then after driving 40 miles, and arriving at office, he texted me that he'd sold the car late the night before. No notice, nothing, until I arrived at appt. time of 11AM

Armin is the rare car salesman you can trust. On top of giving me a fair and honest price, he helped me get a deal on preventative maintenance as well. He always picks up the phone, he does what he says he is going to do, and he’s a good businessman. I had a great buying experience with West coast auto mart and I would go to him again. I wish him the best!

Armen is a rarity these days - a true quality and caring gentleman. We are from Philadelphia and were assisting our daughter who moved to LA for law.school find a car. Armen was very courteous and professional both dealing with my daughter directly in LA and my wife and I remotely from Philly. Car came with current smog/ inspection. He allowed her to take the car to have a mechanic do an inspection and made the suggested minor repairs ( new timing belts) with no hesitation. After purchase my daughter thought there was an issue with acceleration. I immediately called Armen and he told her to bring the car back and he would check. Turned out there was no issue at all- my daughter simply wasn't pressing the gas pedal all the way. But the fact that Armen took the time to follow up after the sale stood out. You don't find many people- especially in the used car business like Armen. If you need a used car in the Pasadena/LA area get in touch with him. Highly recommended!
