Extremely rude and impatient pharmacy.

Solid place. Well maintained and the photo booth is super quick. The pharmacy people have always been great as well. One knock is it feels understaffed. There are check-out areas by the parking lot and facing lake and you frequently have to run down a cashier from the other side if you need something from the lake side.

This location is now my favorite Walgreens. The last time I came, there was another manager, and she was a little annoying. But I won't let that deter me from this business because I was helped today by Romeo. This is the second time I have encountered him; he is charismatic and charming to deal with. He was able to help me purchase my makeup, and he gave me some sweet compliments; he's a fantastic guy, and I appreciate him for handling me with so much care today. He is one of the best managers at Walgreens that I have ever encountered; Romeo needs his own store! Thanks again, Mr. Romeo. I hope you get everything you ever wanted in life; people like you are fantastic and make businesses look amazing by the way you treat your customers and by how you handle business so professionally. I do hope you get your store one day. Cheers!

I was provided excellent impeccable services from many of your staff all these years and lately was German and Liz at #11442 at 310 A Lake Ave Pasadena CA 91101. 3/31/23 at 5.57pm. German was very courteous and helpful leading me to the aisle to find my cotton swabs. Liz had always provided wonderful friendly services at cashiering counter many times. Thank you very much.

This is for the pharmacy. 1. They do not answer their phones. You can sit and wait and wait and they will never pick up. 2. They refuse service to anyone who doesn't have in network insurance. You can be willing to pay out of pocket all you want. They'll make you come into their store just to refuse service to you.

I went here to send money through Western Union as I would always do for many years. When the receipt was printed out the MTCN number for the recipient of the money was ineligible due to printing issues.I asked for another receipt which I was told can be done. The attendant asked assistance from someone who I believe is the shift manager. Unfortunately the receipt could not get printed for the second time. The manager said she could void the transaction which I obliged. Then the manager said she could not void it and told me to call Western Union. The store clerk who initially helped me apologized that they were having issues with that particular receipt printer. There are other working check out stations that has working printers. Why would one knowingly accept a western union transaction in a malfunctioning printer? So unacceptable.

I wanted to leave a review for one of the managers, Romeo who provided such excellent service and ensured that the photo projects I had submitted were printed and processed well. I live out in the LA area and I only trust this Walgreens with my photo projects (canvas prints, holiday cards and photo prints) I would travel from far just to get my prints done here as I am confident in the quality of the jobs. With the excellent management and customer service skills of Romeo, you can't go wrong.

I will simply share my story here for anyone thinking of using their pharmacy services. Walked in this morning at 10 am with my family. I asked Pauline, pharmacist, and Kathy, tech, if they could accommodate my 5 yr old for a flu shot. We did not have an appointment. Pauline said to go online and make an appt as they are appt only, but that actually they are full today for flu shots. I asked "are you sure?". She did not check the schedule but replied "yes to my knowledge". I stand by the window and go online, and see 2:15, 2:30, and 2:45 open. I asked if I could book the 2:15. Kathy sighs and asks Pauline if they provide vaccines for 5 year olds (the front door of Walgreens clearly states they do, for ages 3+), and responds that yes we can make the appointment. She advised not to come early because they are at lunch from 1:30-2. I ask if they could provide a favor and give my child the vat that moment because we were already there, and she said no. Okay, understandable. We return at 2:15 for our appointment. Pauline runs our insurance and denies my child her flu shot because our insurance "isn't contracted" with walgreens. No vaccine administered. No smile. No apology. Never tried to run insurance for us prior. Overall a poor experience that left us reeling from their intentionally rude service. Especially towards a child. Unforgivable.

This Walgreens is very conveniently located, and parking is super easy. I believe it's a pretty busy location, so sometimes they'll be low on popular items etc I've been here many times and even if there's a long line, it's always moving fast :)

I had been provided excellent professional impeccable services from all staff members at #11442 310 S Lake Pasadena CA 91101 and my last visit was 9/14/22 at 5.30pm and your staff kindly helped reapply my Walgreens discount card as my former ones had expired. Thank you very much for all these years of excellent services.

Staff tries to rip customers off on small things. I ordered a photo print online. The photo contained US- and EU-sized passport photos of our newborn that I had taken and sized myself. Staff refused to process my photo print for $0.37 (regular 4x6" online photo print price), asking instead that I pay the full $15.99 passport photo price. I don't believe it's fair to ask a customer who took the photo themselves, sized it properly themselves, edited it themselves into a 4x6" photo, and submitted it online to pay for the full-service passport photo that Walgreens offers (which includes a Walgreens staff actually taking the photo and ensuring compliant sizing). It's most likely a staff issue since: (i) I had successfully printed passport photos (at the regular photo print price) I had taken myself for our other kid 2 years ago at the same Walgreens location; (ii) After this location refused to process my order, I submitted it to another Walgreens location that processed it right away (at the regular photo print price). I hope management sees this review and takes action appropriately.

Worst customer service I've ever had. Staff was missing for ~5 minutes entirely. When I did find someone, he acted completely put out that I needed assistance picking up a photo order. That's what's wrong with the store. What's wrong with the company: I took my own passport photo at home and used an expensive camera/software/etc because the last time I paid someone to do it, it was terrible. WALGREENS WILL NOT PRINT A PASSPORT PHOTO. Not only that, they won't tell you until you're in the store, because they want you to pay the full passport photo fee of $16 (instead of $0.37 I was quoted for a 4x6 photo). Their system identifies it as a passport photo and rejects it. This would have been nice to know *before* driving out to the store and waiting for an unhappy staff member to be unhelpful.

The Walgreens pharmacy on S Lake and Del Mar has the worst customer service. Definitely changing my prescriptions to another location

"form is no other than emptiness, emptiness no other than form"When I first entered this Walgreens store, I was astounded by the sheer magnitude of comestibles and consumer products lining every shelf. I could not believe that the wonders of capitalism could have brought us such glorious wealth. But then I began to notice the details that lay behind the products. The store was deprived of mostly any decoration, forcing customers' eyes onto products, subliminally forcing them to see more, buy more. Wading deeper into the mist, you notice that the dark ooze of capitalism began to breathe through the air conditioning vents, as its victims cried out from beyond the borders that shelter us from the outside world of pain, a world in which many suffer at the hands of the few.In the throes of this realization, I was reminded of what a wise Neo once said: "You take the blue pill... the story ends, you wake up in your bed and believe whatever you want to believe. You take the red pill... you stay in Wonderland, and I show you how deep the rabbit hole goes." I took the red pill, I wonder if I'll ever see the other side.10/10 I love Walgreens would go again.
