I needed to obtain a Covid 19 vaccine for my son so he could enroll in classes for college! I called every where and luckily Vons in Pasadena had it! The staff was so excellent! Customer service was fantastic. The Pharmacist C. Gu administered the vaccine and asked all the appropriate vaccine questions and made us feel at ease. The pharmacy tech was so nice as well! Knowledgeable staff and organized. Thank you!!

I truly enjoy my pharmacy! The staff is amazing and Clyde is just a wonderfully helpful Tech there! I never have a problem with a renewal or new prescription! They’re reliable and customer service oriented.

Title: Mixed Experience at Vons Grocery StoreMy recent visit to Vons grocery store had its ups and downs. The cashier Nancy was fantastic, offering assistance due to my recent arm surgery, which I greatly appreciated.However, the situation took a negative turn when Dana, the bagger, was assigned to help me. Initially, she declined to assist and, when she eventually did, her service was incredibly slow, leading to frustration.I believe that employees like Dana could benefit from customer service training. Such behavior is not up to the standard expected from Vons staff. In summary, while the cashier's kindness was a highlight, the experience with Dana left room for improvement in the customer service department.

The employees do not know what they are doing. I had to wait for help in the wine cellar for 30 minutes and had to leave cause they could not find the keys. Do not come here.

I know there is controversy about water bottles sitting in the sun for an extended period of time or if it gets over 70ºF. Some articles say that chemicals from the plastic begin to leach into the water, but there are also opposing thoughts. Perhaps to be on the safe side, maybe this Vons at this location in Pasadena should consider moving these to another place where the water bottles are not sitting in direct sunlight...especially during the excessive heat this summer.

Had to wait to get to the counter and then return my ice cream for fresh ice cream. Line was 20 people long and although they opened up lanes I was unable to process one bottle of wine through the self check out. Very unfortunate and very sad for all the workers.

Vons never falls short on merchandise or options. Convenient, clean and fresh. Their deli is nice and so is their butcher shop.

I never thought I would be reviewing a grocery store but people need to know how awful the service is here. We normally shop at Ralph's but we're nearby and I mentioned to my wife that the Vons was bright, clean and had lots of selection. All of that is true. So why a 1 star review? It's simple- super long lines at the check out counters so we went to the self checkout. There were 8 checkout stations but half of them were blinking, which means they are out of service until an attendant comes by. What that means is people walk up, see that and have to get back in line. Meanwhile the people are saying- sir, that checkout is open, and the. I have to explain it's not working. We finally get to a check out station that was working and upon scanning one of the items it brought up the screen that an attendant was necessary. We pressed the help button and waited, and waited. When nobody arrived we removed all the items and went to another checkout, only to have the same thing happen again. At this point I approached guest services for the second time- there was a women there who refused to make eye contact with me, even though her perch overlooks all of the self checkout stations. I finally asked a bag boy who was helping her with something - can you help us, We are at our third try on the self checkout and nobody is coming to assist. Now the guest services woman looks up and condescendingly says- you have to press the help button- uh... I knew that and already did that. How about sorry for the inconvenience mr customer, or thanks for your patience- we are short staffed. Nope, instead she eventually matches over and schools us on how all you have to is this- then swipes her employees badge and presses continue. So, first of all miss guest services, I am sorry for interrupting you from selling lottery tickets, second of all, in case you had not noticed, I don't have an employee badge. Lastly, have a nice life because I won't be setting foot in here again.

Juanita at self checkout should not be in customer service. She has the absolute worst attitude. I've encountered her rudeness on several occasions but today it was over the top. I was having issues with the kiosk and she was arguing with me and finally walked away without resolving my issue. SHE JUST WALKED AWAY. This is absolutely unacceptable. If you don't like your job, don't be there. I urge management to at least move her to another dept where she doesn't have to deal with people. I've seen her yell at customers before. She's a sad example for a Vons employee.

I shop here religiously. One problem is that there aren't enough keto meals for my diet. Their keto version of the mac'n'cheese is out of stock.
