Usually quite good, however, can get a bit sketchy in some corners at some times. Comparatively reliable and certainly has a place in my rotation.

Admission to Rose Parade floats is $20, no parking, no pets, 1 hr wait to entrance. Best bet is to walk up along the entrance and look over the fence (which is also screened off but the floats stick out).

There are bits of trash everywhere in this park. Empty bottles, lids, candy wrappers, tissues, fast food containers, all over the grass and on the playground, it's terrible. And multiple people didn't bother to pick up after their dogs, because there were several dog poops in the grassy areas. On top of that, why are there random adult men, without kids, hanging out right next to the kids' play area? It's creepy, go hang out at one of the picnic tables away from the playground.

Nice big park, plenty of space on the field to play. A big play structure, and a nice loop for biking, walking, etc. Four baseball fields, one full sized, one tee ball, on 46/60 and one can be either 46/60 or 50/70. It has a nice view of the mountains, and is flat. The bathrooms smell deeply of urine though.Playground: Big, separate areas for different age groups which is nice.Restrooms: Disgusting, smell of urine.Dog-friendliness: Tons of dogs, wide open field great for playing fetch.

Alot of memories regarding this park. I used to attend hale elementary school across the street during the summer we would swim at phs pool located on the northern border of the park the used to be some cool playground equipment when I was a youngster the merry go round the 3 story rocket slide the massive jungle gymn the metal horses that were attached to the big spring coil all with sand underneath.. of course all that has been long gone cause the equipment was dangerous I guess.. the park is two miles south of the San gabriel mountains great view plus we used to experience some killer windstorms being so close to the mountains
