Went here many times trying to help my cats skin problems. Expensive food was recommended, different medications and treatments. Every visit was expensive and seemed to get higher and higher. Decided to try another vet for a second opinion and in the first visit they recommended a flea medication and the problem was solved. So disappointed because I was a loyal customer for years with my 5 cats. They are only interested in $.

My pets have been patients here for at least 30 years. I’m not sure I will go back. I just called because I wanted to see about an appointment for an eye infection for my cat. I was told the soonest I could book an appointment would be next week. Not serious right now, but could become serious by next week. Possibly eye loss. She very nonchalantly referred me to go to an emergency room. I don’t think they care about the pets or their owners very much anymore. Especially since they became VCA

I would give this place a zero if I could. I have never had a problem with this place until now but I will not be coming back. I had to euthanize my cat and they told me that I had to make an examination toPut her down. I understand the reasoning for a examination but I have to pay full price for one and also pay for the euthanizetion to which is horrible. On top of that the examination was a couple weeks out my cat was in so much pain but there was nothing I could do I just had to wait. If making this decision isn’t hard enough already they made it worse.

Organize and staff are friendly. Good customer service. The vet who treated my puppy was friendly and informative as well.

We love this clinic! We've been going here for about a year now and have felt really taken care of. The front staff is excellent - shoutout to Anna-Laura who is always so sweet to our pups and on top of things. Highly recommend!

Be kind to yourself and your pet; go somewhere else. Their office staff are rude, unprofessional and unprepared. My dog is very sick, I pay over a $1000 for treatment, only to show up and find they are unprepared to treat my dog.

I have been taking my pets here for 30 years. Since VCA took over the service and outcome have declined. There is no continuity of care as you see a different vet each visit. Then the front office staff tries to interpret test results and vet notes with error due to lack of veterinary training. You are not allowed to go in with your pet. The fees are outrageous. Due to lack of action/appropriate treatment my baby's lung collapsed. She may have to have her lung removed. Looking at the same X-ray one vet said she had pneumonia but on the next visit anther vet said she didn't'. Just trying to distance themselves from responsibility. She has 4 chest X-rays there. Went from partial collapse lung to full collapse lung before they decided to treat her.

35 minutes waiting in the hot parking lot with my dog. 95 degrees. Did not see the remote check in signage, walked around to multiple doors. Knocking. No one came. Multiple technicians came out to help other owners no one had decency to tell me about the check in policy. Just walked by. Signage for the checking in is sparse and not great. Dog litter out front, in the parking lot they want us to wait in. Service not great, people don’t get basic customer service. And if you’re “late” because you’re lost in this remote check in orientation, they’ll make you wait. And wait. And wait. Will not come back again.

Our doggy Razz Berry was seen by Dr. Patterson (please forgive me if I have the name wrong). He, along with the staff were absolutely wonderful. They rescued us at the last minute, were very thorough, and very fair with regard to the cost of things. Truly appreciate it.

We made the move from Vet Villa about a year ago and it was the best decision we've made so far for our dog. We've been maybe 7 times now and it's always a great experience from start to finish - from the support staff, to techs, and Vets.

I adopted a kitty during Covid and I had no idea where to bring him. I searched for vets and this one popped up. I've taken him here for vaccinations and general checkups. I've always had a great experience. The staff is nice and they're so good with my kitty. They've always gotten me an appointment fairly quickly, and if they've had cancellations they've allowed me to bring him in sooner. I appreciate the care and attention they've given him, and have recommended them to friends.

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST. TOTAL SCAM ARTISTS! My daughter, a distraught student with no money, brought her 11 year old bunny, a patient they already knew well, to be put to sleep when he could no longer walk. She had looked online and thought it would be $150-$200 tops for a 4 pound bunny who could no longer move. NOPE NOT AT VCA. They had the nerve to charge her $500.00!!!! $150 straight off the bat for a "quality of life check" another $150 for the shot while she held him. Another $75 for cremation with other pets and then an "EXOTIC ANIMAL FEE!!!!" It's really time for vets to stop padding bills with senseless and HEARTLESS fees like "Exotic Animal" As though the 4 pound bunny who could not move was a king cobra. They are THIEVES. I had to put down my $135 pound Cane Corse two years ago just down the road from VCA and you know what they charged me? $400. STAY AWAY from them.

I have been in contact with this hospital given that the one in South Pas sometimes gets full, made an appt for my cat but due to work I wasn't able to go, however I did want to come here because I noticed this hospital is so easy to reach and their turnaround time has been excellent. So far their callback and follow up service has been quick, I even had the manager call me to follow up on an appointment and I can tell by the way the staff acts and speaks that they're true professionals and they work on a timely fashion. They're also very nice and warm. I definitely recommend this place if you're looking for friendly staff and efficient service that meets your time needs.

I have been going to VCA since 1987 but no more. I have had it with the corporate take over. They have been getting worse and worse each year. It takes at least 1 1/2 weeks to get in. When we have had to put down one of our pets they use to be able to get me in that day but not anymore. I had a cat that needed to be put down because of renal failure they said it would take 9 days till I could an appointment. When I said I can't wait that long they told me to go to urgent care somewhere else. I finally called Cat Clinic and they took me that day even though I was not a client.Another time I took my puppy in for a possible UTI. I could not get Dr Andrew so I was seen by another vet. They took blood work and even though the results wouldn't be back for a few days they want to prescribe medication that was about $200. I said but what if she does not have a UTI ? I did not buy the medication and the results came back negative for UTI. So if I would have given my dog unnecessary medication and been out $200 if I had listened to this incompetent vet.I have pulled all my animal records and am going to Pasadena Pet Hospital. It is sad since I have been along time client and love Dr Andrew but all they care about is money.
