Michael, the owner, had great ideas for turing an old fob chain into a necklace. He suggested adding another chain to it for a more interesting look and to save some money instead of adding more links to match the current gorgeous chunky chain. If you're looking for a nice chain necklace this is a great place to go!

I brought my wedding ring in to be re-sized due to an arthritic knuckle. The gentleman who greeted me offered professional and accurate guidance in determining the new sizing to ensure that the ring would go over the knuckle, but not move wildly on the finger above the knuckle. My wedding ring was resized beautifully, and the price was very reasonable! At the same time, I brought my husband's watch in for a new battery. Valia's had both the ring and watch ready within a day. On another note, the jewelry displayed in the store is beautiful. When I admired some earrings that looked like a pair I used to have (one of the pair was lost), I was told that they can even make an earring to match the one I lost. Valia's is my go-to jewelry repair shop... and it's also a great place to buy new jewelry.

What a lovely experience! I brought in 2 rings and a watch, all to be sized up. The store was beautiful, with many different jewelry options all in pristine display cases. The gentleman who helped me was thorough and kind, and my pieces were ready in just a few days. They're all perfectly sized and cleaned. I'll definitely be returning for any and all of my jewelry needs!

This place deserves more reviews and is a hidden gem (pun intended) in Pasadena. They do Rolex servicing and I am tempted to do this as Rolex’s service pricing is bordering absurd at the moment. Had my diamond earrings that needed some love after 10+ yrs of wear wo cleaning and Michael cleaned them on the spot and reurned them to me SPARKLING wi 5 minutes. They also sell GREAT fine pieces of estate jewelry. I’ll be visiting biweekly to see whats new. Rolex servicing review update to follow!

I went in recently to replace a fake stone in my ring with a real one. The service they've provided was quick and effective. I would've gave them a 5 if they gave me more options on the color of my stone. I think I would've preferred a darker orange.

Michael and his team are fantastic. I needed an unconventional men's wedding band (that's not re-sizable) re-sized, and he was able to provide me with a couple good options for achieving what I needed. Had my ring that I purchased from an outside jeweler resized here yesterday and am extremely happy with the result! It only took a couple of hours. The ring is flawless and they polished it well for free, leaving it sparkling more than the day that I got it. Would definitely trust them with my future fine jewelry.
