What a cute little shop of great eats, snacks, and sundry! Funny, it was my 1st time encountering the word "sundry". I had to look it up and get its meaning... sundry means "many things of different kinds". Makes sense as I see a variety of miscellaneous items in the shop such as ramen noodles, over the counter medicines, greeting cards, etc.Tower Snacks & Sundry is located at the bottom floor of the Pasadena Towers. It was recommended to me by my coworker who is a regular customer. Thank you my friend! The owner is a very nice and kind lady. She runs the shop on her own. Whenever I am here with other customers, she keeps up with the pace of service quite well. Thank you!I come to find out that the warm and beautiful layout and display of the menu was the wonderful work of my friend who happens to be the same person who recommended this great place. He is very kind and giving of his time and efforts in making a difference. Thank you my friend for making it easy for us to order! I know the owner appreciates your generosity of your time and efforts and wonderful creative art. I know I do.Let's talk about the great eats... you can get breakfast sandwiches or burritos (my favorite has potatoes in it and ask for salsa to be added without an additional charge... thanks to my friend for his good tip), bagels, oatmeal, french toast (this one is yummy!), etc. Lunch offers salads such as Chicken Caesar, Chef, or Oriental, sandwiches like roast beef, pastrami, club with turkey and bacon (my favorite... so big and tasty!), ham egg & cheese (love it!), tuna melt (surprisingly very good!), grilled chicken wrap (my least preferred item, but you may like it), and more. As for beverages, there are coffee, tea, and smoothies. I love the Three Berry smoothie! I get it every time. I usually get the smaller size. They do have the larger size... just ask for it. The Strawberry & Banana and Mango smoothies could be better... they need more fruit flavors in them IMHO. You can still try them... they may suit your taste buds better.I have become a regular customer since Day 1. I have tried almost all the breastfast and lunch items. There are a few items I have yet to try... I will eventually get to them... you know I will LOL. Everything I have tried have been delicious and tasty. Portions are good. Although I wish the breakfast sandwich could be bigger. Credit card service charge of $0.75 will apply if you spend under $10.00. Cash is best unless you're spending more than $10.00 like myself. There are tables and chairs outside for dining.I love supporting local businesses so I will continue to support Tower Snacks & Sundry when I'm in the Pasadena area. By the way, they are open on weekdays only... closed on the weekends. If you're in the neighborhood, drop on by and check them out. They would love to see you and welcome your patronage. I'll see you here! Happy Snack'ing & Sundry'ing!!!

This place is so unethical, I feel it is my right as a human to warn others of this store. The owner, Mrs. Kim is the sweetest, most smiley, and warming devious woman I have ever met. She adds on extra random charges starting at $.25, $.50, slowly to $1. After 5 years of knowing that she does this to me because I would order the same items and her husband or her daughter would ring me up at the "Right" price then whenever she touches the cash register the price becomes increasingly high. One day this July, (a rice plate that once was $9.99, because $11.99 about 9months prior, ridiculous price increase given the portion shrank) was rang up with a whopping total of $14.32!!!! What??!!! I asked for the receipt which she never gives, she got startled and scared and pretended like I already got it, when I pointed to the machine she ripped it while shaking. So when she hands me the receipt, it clearly said 12.99 plus tip 1.33. I asked how come the price says $11.99 and you charged me a dollar more, she quickly said with a smile, "oh price change, sorry". I contacted management to ask her to update her prices if they indeed changed. She told them ohh nooo there's no price change, it could be a special or a custom order. Wow! If it's a special it would be LESS then not MORE than what's on the sheet, and also I've ordered the same dish, nothing CUSTOM for the past few years. Anyways I've been very kind and nice to them, supporting their small shop but I've had enough of Mrs. Kim trying to steal from me! Just DON'T go here unless you seriously have to. Her food is good, tasty, with decent ingredients so it might be hard to resist but also some of the stuff is old and I've gotten sick from the old KimChi that should've been through away before. Just be careful, you've been warned.

If I could give these ladies -700 stars I would. I go to school right next door and they always get business due to their location so they'll never have to worry about not getting business yet they still choose to over charge EVERYTHING. Every time we go in and get the same item it's a different price depending on the day. They take advantage of their customers because they know they can. We go here almost every day and they charge for ketchup, plastic silverware, they'll give someone breakfast at 12 pm but deny it to me because it's 'too late'. They charge 8$ for a basic quesadilla. When you ask a question they talk amongst themselves in a different language when I know they both speak English so they're obviously talking bad about you. Do not go to this store if you have the option to go somewhere else. They treat their customers horribly, aren't consistent and take advantage of their power. I try my hardest to not give them my hard earned money as much as possible!!! Do not go here.

Tower snack and sundry has excellent fresh food. Some of the premade items are expensive compared to other places- but I imagine this is because this spot is much more convenient. You could almost call it a convenience store. There is a lot of grumbling in the other reviews but this place is hopping all the time- regardless of the comments. The bulgogi plates and breakfast burrito are legit - and get a fresh cup of coffee with it. Good luck finding a more convenient, cheaper meal anywhere else nearby. One thing to know is they have a 5$ min on cards- or there is a surcharge. Pretty normal for a place this size though.
