Stunning sound in the mezzanine but horrible view obstructed by fellow audience members. Seating arrangement should have been considered when the theater was built.

Just saw la cage auc folle, laughed my ass off for 2 and 1/2 hours, The sets were great. The costumes were great. The actors are all professionals, it was over before I knew it and they got a 10-minute standing ovation. Not many tickets available but if you can get there man you should!

This is a great old theater. It's been renovated, of course, and the seats are comfortable and the place is clean, but the building's been there like a hundred years. They put on top-notch shows, which are fabulously produced, with terrific actors. There is paid parking behind the building and in the building across the street for $5.

Went here to see La Cage aux Folles. Sat in the mezzanine row GG. Row GG is the second to last row at the top and the view was great! The seats were all so comfy. It's an intimate venue and I would definitely love to come back to see another show. We were able to find street parking.

Cyrano, had to be the worst performance I have ever seen. It was filled with woke ideology that was completely disconnected from the story. The acting was terrible, mostly yelling on an empty stage. At one point they had an actor running back and forth on stage screaming "Gender Fluidity!" The director should be fired, and I couldn't wait for the intermission to leave. A total waist of money.

The Pasdena Playhouse is a historic building playing homage to the legacy of the arts in Southern California/Los Angeles. There isn't a bad seat in the house. Small intimate and charming. A flash back to years gone by. There are plenty of eateries around the Playhouse and a pop up bar usually shows up pre show.

The Pasadena Playhouse has such a storied history that it’s hard to not feel privileged to see the performances that continue to grace its stage. The venue has an almost magical atmosphere that complements the incredible seating capacity and the rich array of theatrical productions. This historic theatre has hosted numerous acclaimed performers and has been a cultural cornerstone in the community for decades. I love the overall experience and the people who come share a common interest in the theatrical arts. The cheapest tickets have nothing to do with your personal experience, the only difference it has is how close you are to the stage. This is an incredible venue and each visit feels like a journey through time, enhancing my appreciation for the performing arts.
I think it’s important to add that this is as real as it gets, and a good place for well behaved children and there’s great food or dinner options within fifty feet of the front entrance. Pasadena is a great artsy community and the Playhouse is one its gems. It’s a luxury I can afford and I’ve never not felt welcomed when walking through the front door.

Went to see Jelly's Last Jam !! And it was FANTASTIC ! You can really feel the history in this beautiful old building. Ceilings to the SKY !! The foyer is big enough & beautiful enough to take pics. There is also a place to gather after the show. I loved that !!

Really just love the place... But the cobblestones in front made it really difficult to push that wheelchair around...

The venue was absolutely beautiful, athletically. The historic architecture on the ceiling and the exterior was beautiful. I went to see "Jelly's last Jam". The show was AWESOME! I truly enjoyed the musical. The acting, orchestra and the singing was most impressive ? ?.

A beautiful place to see superb performances, that resonate so powerfully with laughter, wisdom and regret.
To see and hear story's told with such captivating clarity and sparkling precision is a memory for a lifetime.
Thank you so very much, Pasadena Playhouse.
