Used Heirloom for catering a small baby shower for 15 people. Not the cheapest but the food is really delicious and well presented, catering service was easy to order and got recommendations from Abigail. Thanks for all the help! Food turned out great and looked so beautiful! Prices are steep but you get what you pay for! Was very happy with the outcome.

Worst food ever! DO NOT GET THIS FOR CATERING. My whole crew would not eat this food and would have rather paid for there own food. Don’t know what kind of food this is but the flavors do not go together and all they serve is a chicken in some kind of beans and then egg noodles with really bad sauce. I’m guessing all the reviews on here are from the friends of the people that run this place. Never seen food like this with such bad flavor.

Taste of Pace catered my husband's 50th bday bash. It could not have gone better. People are still talking about the buttermilk chicken sliders. Amazing! They also helped me plan and arrange staff and a bartender. There is a reason why they have these great reviews. I look forward to having them cater our next party. Thank you Taste of Pace!!!

We loved our experience with Taste of Pace. They were extremely patient and responsive as I worked out my vision for my wife's birthday party. The crew that came to setup was extremely helpful and went above and beyond. Most importantly the food was delicious and all of the guests loved it.

We hired Taste of Pace for our wedding and were blown away by the quality. Everything was as delicious, high quality, and beautifully arranged as it was when we sampled the food. All the servers were so sweet and great. It was so, so much better than I thought wedding food could be...they even travelled up into the mountains for us. Thanks Pace and co!!!

I selected Taste of Pace for my husband's 40th surprise birthday party due to some great reviews on Yelp. I threw a hail mary and booked without having tried the food myself before and prayed that the experience would be wonderful. To say i was satisfied with them would be an understatement. Though i booked them last minute (literally 2 days before the event), Brooke was more than accommodating and helped decrease the stress! Communication was clear via phone and email and in the course of a couple of hours, she had given me customized menu options within my budget as well as vegan restrictions -- all while i multitasked at work! On the day of the event, her staff arrived promptly at the discussed time and had the food prepared and set up nicely. Everything was beyond expectations and i was complimented all night at how good the food was. Bonus: they are a zero waste company and also used biodegradable eco-friendly utensils! a company after my own heart. I will definitely book them for future events and recommend them to anyone looking for amazing food and great service with a sustainable mindset!

We got married at the Hudson Loft in DTLA and food is a very important aspect for us, so we knew we wanted fresh, delicious food for our wedding. A criteria we had when searching for a caterer was having a family style option so that our guests had a chance to eat multiple items/dishes. We knew we didn't want each person to just get one plate of food with a single protein choice; we wanted a feast! After finding Taste of Pace through some online research, we scheduled a tasting, which completely blew us away! Pace had us come to a loft where she cooked all of the dishes as we sat, ate, drank, listened to lovely Italian dinner music, and chatted with Brooke to go over the menu options. We instantly booked with them after. They also helped with the open bars we had at the wedding, so the food, the alcohol, the staff were seamless and amazing. We keep getting comments on how delicious the cocktail hour appetizers and dinner platters were. For cocktail hour, we had a charcuterie station, hamachi crudo, risotto cakes, and hangar steak. For dinner, we had an heirloom lettuce salad, braised short ribs, salmon, fingerling potatoes, and seasonal veggies w/ burrata. I was definitely not one of those brides that don't get to eat a bite of their food at their wedding. Oh, I sat and ate my ENTIRE plate of food! My favorite thing about Taste of Pace is that they are a zero waste catering company and they use every part of their ingredients. It's so amazing!

Pace just opened a new location in my neighborhood of Old Pasadena so, I decided to stop as I was walking by. I'm glad I did. I just tried one of their chicken sandwiches and it is easily one of the best I've ever had. It's really damn good. And the people are super friendly. We chatted about everything from how they present their food to how they plan on marketing their business. It was obvious that they take great pride in their food and everything they do. I don't see that location listed here, on Yelp, yet so keep an eye out the next time you're in Old Pasadena. ----- EDIT: I thought I was at The Taste of Pace when I was really at Daddy's Chicken Shack. They are owned by the same owner so, I'm sure The Taste of Pace deserves a great review, as well. Here's a link to Daddy's:

I recently had the pleasure of working with Taste of Pace and I am SO happy I chose them to cater our 2-day offsite meeting. Brooke was so nice, accommodating and very easy to work with. The food was amazing, delicious, healthy and enjoyed by all. Brooke made sure there were options for all dietary restrictions and it was just absolutely perfect for our group. We were lucky to have Randy as our server for both days - he was so nice! I *highly* recommend using Taste of Pace for your next event. They will be sure to work with your requirements, dietary restrictions and budget all while making the whole process easy and seamless from start to finish.

I absolutely love ToP! I'm so glad that we selected the ToP team be part of our wedding of 95 ppl at Big Daddy's Antiques this fall. We knew we wanted a taco truck for the main course (we went with Guerrilla Tacos which rocked) so the ToP team came through for the co-catering components. That included drop-off catering for beautiful gourmet cheeses, breads, other nibbles and charcuterie during cocktail hour and dinner salads to complement the tacos, along with providing all the servers and bartenders. They also managed all of our alcohol purchasing and oversaw our glassware rentals to guarantee that we'd have enough of everything. The food was delicious and service was fantastic. People are still talking about the date paste and cheeses. And I don't know what was in that dip, but I've been dreaming about it ever since. The team is super organized, professional and ensured a flawless event. They were responsive and attentive to details, partnering really well with our month of coordinator. When you plan your wedding on your own, you're always a little worried that you'll forget something crucial, but the ToP team made sure that didn't happen. I'd recommend them in heartbeat to anyone hosting an event!

Taste of Pace catered our wedding last weekend. We booked them 10 DAYS before the event. Our previous caterer was dropping the ball and we needed a pro. From the moment I reached out to Pace and her team 10 DAYS before our wedding, our experience with them was flawless. Emails, calls and questions were addressed immediately, all of our requests were accommodated, everything was explained and handled professionally and exceptionally. The event itself was everything we could have ever hoped for. The food was AMAZING (guests are still talking about the hors d'oeuvres, salmon, and short ribs). The service and attention to detail were impeccable. The captain was so intelligent, friendly and accommodating. I could go on and on. We were so thrilled and blown away at our good fortune that this incredible company was available on such short notice for the most special day of our lives. This was a simple, small backyard wedding and Taste of Pace treated it like a gala at the Ritz. THANK YOU Taste of Pace. You are a gem!

After eloping, my husband and I approached Taste of Pace for our casual wedding reception. It was very last minute. I think we only gave them one week's notice. She responded right away to all emails and had such a fun laid back attitude about it all. Pace was really great about accommodating our budget and dietary restrictions (my dad is allergic to garlic, so catering can be very tricky). Everyone was raving about how delicious everything was. My dad is still talking about the salmon we had and how good it was. She was even able to make our special request for dessert, which was also stupid delicious. Everything arrived right on time and literally required no effort from us. The server she provided was wonderful, professional and had everything under control without any management on our end. In addition, the presentation of the food was aesthetic and lovely, which was definitely very important to me. Overall I was thrilled with the experience we had with Taste of Pace. She has secured her place as our go to caterer for any events we have in the future. Love, Kat
