One of the best gyms I've been to across California and the US. Lucky enough to live extremely close by, every machine you could possibly want as well as free weights. Only thing missing is a bit of a lack of 45lb plates. Otherwise phenomenal gym, good environment.

Not a great place. Gym believes that its space should be dark, noisy, and never have any parking after noon. Plus, watch your metaphorical wallet. Be sure you don't get Just the price, ask "Is this the total of ALL charges?" Yeah, that kind of place. And equipment often is broken and is not fixed or upgraded promptly. One evening, there was no one at the desk for the Entire Evening! There was a sign that directed you to call a gym nearby if needed!! Some night somebody's gonna break a bone and they will have a Giant lawsuit on their hands. It's less repulsive before noon. I live virtually next door or no, I would not even consider using it.

I recently got my car stolen while working out in this gym. I had my stuff locked in the locker room and they allowed someone into the gym that in broke the lock and stole my bmw out of the parking lot with all my belongings. They don't check who comes in and I wouldn't be surprised if it was a member or employee. Customer service here is terrible. They did nothing to make it right I tried canceling my membership and received an email that it was cancelled yet they were still charging me monthly after I reviewed my bank statements. They never have employees who stay more than a few months. I have been going here for almost 4 years. The people at the front desk are careless about what is happening in the gym. They certainly don't care about the people who come in and long time customers. They want your money and they lie. They even tried to charge me $10 for a replacement of my plastic scanner to get into the gym, even after my car was stolen and I tried to let it go and come back. The equipment here may be nice but the people running this place and the employees make the experience awful. They have fired many of the employees who were caring and left them without jobs. Customer service and kindness to people who workout here would go a long way.

Hi guys I'm back with an update. Sadly a 1 star activity again. I was signed up on the 4 month membership plan and tried to cancel in person a month before it ends (Oct 20). The front desk at the time told me it was too early and I have to come back Nov 20. He said as long as I cancel within 2 weeks after Nov 20, I won't be charged for the next month. I come back to the gym Nov 25 to cancel and signed off on it with a lady at the front. I get an email sent to me too, but in the email it says this is my cancellation notice and does not confirm a cancellation, further action is required please see a rep at the gym. So I called the front desk (same lady who helped me) and asked her about the email I got. She said to not worry and that I've already cancelled my membership, it just takes a few days to register in the system. Fast forward to Nov 29, I get charged for a full month of $34.98. Normally I was paying $19.99/mo and was confused about this amount. I called the front desk and a different guy there was telling me that I didn't cancel my membership within 2 weeks BEFORE Nov 20 and so it was my fault. I explained to him that I was told to cancel within 2 weeks AFTER Nov 20 and I even got a confirmation from the lady the other day saying it was already cancelled and that I won't be charged for the next month because I met the 2 weeks deadline. He was confused about the billing due date and the renewal date and still kept pressing me that the charge is already done because I didn't cancel in time. And even told me I could come in person to see all my billing statements? Of course this could go on in circles. So I asked if there was someone else I could talk to who could help me and he said he was the only one there. (Hah) In conclusion, not everyone who works there is on the same page and could give you misinformation. Nothing will be confirmed in writing either for this reason.

Do not sign up to this gym. Not only is it filthy with weights all over the place, with a lazy staff that do nothing to create a culture of putting your stuff back, but above all the owner is committing fraud once you sign up. When i complained about the pigpen and lazy staff, my gym membership was canceled, but they continued to charge me. When i stopped that, they used another DBA to bill for 47.98 a month, and when that was stopped via my credit card company, they altered their numbers to slip that in. It is a matter of time before this loser goes to jail for fraud, and there is a class action suit pending involving over 100 people he's done this to. Do NOT trust this gym with your financial information.

Speakeasy Fitness is a scam! Haven't been there for 4 months. Was charged an annual fee and will be charged again in January. Don't do it. The girl was rude cause she told me I couldn't cancel my gym membership or even waive a late fee for a charge I wasn't aware of.

ScamTown. How does this place have decent stars? Money off for 5 and 267 "not recommended" 1 stars. Look how many 5 stars have only reviewed this place. I mean at 5am this gym is great. Any other time good f'ing luck. Hope you live in walking distance because there has never been any parking whatsoever. It's crazy loud. Headphones go from a sometimes to an absolute necessity. Hidden fees, claiming terms you never agreed to, all around unethical behavior. Avoid this place, if you have any other option, go there. Good reviews mention things that make me think they are fake. Not loud? I'm deaf in one ear and it's almost unbearable. Not a zoo? It STAYS packed. They've sold 3x the memberships that this place could reasonably hold. Employees have a personal approach to fitness?!? lol, lmao even. There was one guy local kid played some college sport was helpful. The rest are either girls with 4 inch nails who aren't helpful or dudes muttering under their breath how much they hate it here. Those reviews are sus as hell.

HUGE SCAM!!!!!!!! ‼‼‼WARNING! ‼ we recently went in to try to check out the gym since moving to Pasadena. Price Seems too good to be true because it is. They offer no trial days even though all the other gyms do. But charge 20$ per day pass. We were told if we sign up we have 5 days to get our money back if we decide not to do it. Welp we decided this gym was not for us. It felt dirty and unkept and chaotic to say the least. Tried to cancel after 2 days‼‼‼ they said the "submitted" a request to cancel...... which now they aren't canceling and not answering phones... we tried to call and they said they have to charge us the annual fee‼ which is completely insane‼ such a huge scam! We will be showing our lawyer. We also regret not reading all the reviews before hand!

Two years ago, I dropped a review, and guess what? I'm still here, still loving the gym, but I've got a little musical request again. While house music is great, it's starting to feel like I'm at EDC every day, and I'm also training for a DJ career instead of actually lifting weights. How about switching it up a bit? Maybe toss in some P Diddy, R. Kelly, or Drake bangers--or even some rock to make me feel like I'm gearing up for an action movie fight scene. Let's keep the vibes fresh--my muscles and my eardrums would be grateful. Thanks for considering this request from your loyal gym-goer.

Amazing gym equipment, only downside is the gym gets way too packed sometimes. Parking is very limited and sometimes you will end up having to park down the street to get to the gym... Other wise it's the best gym in Pasadena in terms of equipment they offer

Epic environment! Been coming here for years! Has a ton of young energy! Usually come at 5am, not packed at all haha.
