Starting to become disappointed in Sephora. Great customer service, but this particular store feels run-down. I've had pleasant experiences at this location in the past but more recently it's felt kind of weird. It's becoming like a hang out spot for kids after school, and it's not the experience you expect when shopping for high end beauty products. I hope the company finds a way to address these emerging problems.

Yaderi(I hope I spelled that correctly) at Sephora provided exceptional service, listening attentively to my struggles in finding the right foundation and conducting a successful color match without needing a device. Her personalized approach and attention to detail resulted in a great foundation, concealer, and press powder selection. This level of customer service was truly appreciated and made my day at Sephora a delightful experience. Thanks, Yaderi, for your help! I'm thrilled with my new products!

I’m a mom of two and I think it was Drea who helped me out (maybe spelled wrong). I said I need a quick make up routine that was not fussy at all and I didn’t have time to spare. I just tried all the products she suggested and was amazed at the ease!! Exactly the make up routine I was looking for. She was so helpful. I’ll definitely be back.

Could be it was a rainy Monday when I came into the store. Rainy Monday could be a factor in the downgrade of service. Whatever the case, noticed a progressing downgrade of service. Usually, Sephora customer service is pretty helpful. However, this day, in particular, had a rude lady ringing up my purchase. She was nonchalant and accustustory when I pointed out one of the items is on sale. She kept insisting that it was the item next to it. It was not. When the manager confirmed it was the sale, the rude cashier just walked away and didn't say a word.Not certain where Sephora is finding their new hires in the Pasadena location...noticing as a consumer, the customer service standards have gone way down.01.08.2024. Came back to Sephora recently in early 2024. The sample testers are dirty, and everything is smeared or leaking. Some folks are calling Sephora the next Claire's. Which there may be some truth. There's a lot of teenagers and little kids running around. I don't have a problem with either, but when it starts to impact my shopping experience. I will likely do business elsewhere.

Humiliating experience provided by Melissa. I walked into Sephora Pasadena to return facial products. The recommended products by a Sephora rep were purchased two weeks ago,. I used the products for two weeks but noticed my skin become very dry. Today when I walked into Sephora to return them, Melissa took care of the transaction. Melissa was not at all discrete about inspecting the slightly used products. She examined them and held them up high to the light. She called one of her managers to inspect them for a second time. Meanwhile there were about 6 to 8 people in line watching Melissa and her manager do a thorough inspection. I requested to talk to another manager (Nancy) to inform her about what I had just experienced. Nancy was apologetic and provided customer service. Melissa in the other hand should be trained on tact, professionalism and customer service. Sephora Pasadena is not what it use to be and I will not spend my money there again.

I visited this Sephora today and had such a positive experience. Everyone was very helpful and friendly but not overbearing or too hover-y. Taylor ended up helping me try to find a color match for some foundation and concealer and she truly went above and beyond looking for a color that wouldn't be too yellow or dark on my very pale skin. She sanitized each item in front of me, gave me tips for how to apply and test the products, and spent a considerable amount of time helping me when she was in no way obligated to do so. After trying many different shades and brands, we didn't find one that was a sure winner, so she gave me a sample to take home so I could try it on in different lighting. Makeup is something that intimidates me, but Taylor's patience, knowledge, and kindness made an anxiety- inducing experience feel fun.

My friend and I wanted to go in and try out a specific product and we fell in love! We would not have been able to complete our purchase if it wasn't for Elizabeth's help. Her professionalism, knowledge, and "can do" attitude really made our experience so effortless. Thank you, Elizabeth!!

Always bad. Dirty testers and a person at the door saying hello is not the level of service you should be getting for luxury makeup. It's impossible to know everything about every product and even harder to ask a 19year old about a moisturizing foundation for fine lines. They answer with a lot of "ummm"'s. Also they never have what I need in stock and no, if I wanted to wait to get it online, I wouldn't have come here IRL.

All their testers are greasy and gross! It's super crowded inside which makes it so annoying to look at the displays when everyone is bumping into each other.

Had the best experience here, everyone is so nice. Especially Dennis, he was so slay. He helped my bf and I to sign up and get a free perfume just for signing up!! Always a good experience when I come here.

The employees can order things online for you to pick up in store for cheaper prices than delivery and if they don't have the product you want.
