Samy's of Pasadena is the World's Best Photo Shop! Thank you Juan and Jason for everything!!! Juan has helped me for the last year and half get my first pro camera's, len's and lighting. Jason recently helped me get my dream lens, the 70-200 2.8 sony, he went out of his way to make sure I got the best deal and I am still on cloud 9 with my new lens. As new photographer this store has been the most instrumental part of my new career. I feel like i have gained a family from all the time and the support i have been given. Juan, Jason and the many others employee's at Samy's of Pasadena have been so patient with me, they answer all my questions and spend hours explaining things to me, they are teachers and fun to talk with. Samy's of Pasadena makes sure I have the right equipment to grow and develop as a photographer. I love that on used equipment, I can return it if it's not working for me and buying used equipment has saved me money too. I love going to Samy's and feel so blessed to have the worlds best camera family, Samy's of Pasadeana. THANK YOU JUAN & JASON!

Samy's in Pasadena was absolutely fantastic. I needed to buy a camera and lenses for a complicated piece of digitization equipment for the library I work at, and am fairly clueless. Jim T. was incredibly patient and walked me through the purchase. I ended up having to exchange one of the lenses and Jim responded to my email immediately and everything was ready for the exchange when I returned. Would recommend Samy's to anyone who wants a customer oriented experience.

I didn't walk into this store in person but had the pleasure of order through them over the phone. The lady that helped me with my GR camera purchase (i unfortunately didn't get her name) was very kind and helped me ship camera that they had in store. I just wanted to call this out as outstanding service and I hope she gets recognition for her help. The overall customer service interactions through my ordering process were also great. I'm very glad to give business to this store.

This is the worst store in the United States of America. They don't accept return for any ink. And they don't tell you when you buy it. Even the package of the ink is never opened. I've never seen a local store like this. I spent more than $500 on Canon inks at this store few days ago. And my printer completely stopped working after 3 days. I have to buy other brand printer, so I don't need those inks any more. I saved 3 of them, because they are opened. So I'd like to return the rest of them. But they refused me when I went there for return. They told me sales for inks are final! But no one told me when I bought it?? If I knew you don't accept return, I wouldn't even buy it from you. This is why a greedy local store will never beat Amazon. You have ZERO service, and don't help your customers at all. I'm a designer who would spend thousands at your store in future. And you just want to F off everyone who trusts you.
Remember never buy anything from this store. Just go Amazon, cheaper price with free returns and great service.

Samy's Camera is the best! I will always be grateful to Samy for his kindness and generosity when I traded in my Canon equipment to purchase new Fujifilm kit. Juan is my go to guy at the Pasadena store. Knowledgeable, helpful and great to talk photography with. Buy local, buy from Samy's Camera!

After seeing the news segment that Samy's founder passed, I remembered that I had in my possession an old Canon 35mm camera (1990). My 10yo son has turned his Martin to cameras now. He was excited to visit Samys to find batteries and film. It was exciting to see the joy on his face taking his own money to buy items. Prices were very well within his budget. The staff at this location were very friendly and extremely helpful. All staff members were very attentive and one could tell that they love cameras and their jobs. We will definitely revisit.

I had a great experience at this location. I went in with the intentions of purchasing a new camera and left satisfied. Clem helped me choose a camera that would suit my needs. I would definitely recommend this location for all your camera needs. The service is great and I am satisfied with the camera I purchased.

Wanted to write a special Thank you for two awesome peeps there at Samy's. Leona there in Service Beauru along with Dana at the film counter are exceptional. Both went well beyond the call of duty. To make a passport photo challenge a reality. Have always enjoyed Samy's Camera over the years. But recent effort was extraordinary.

Today my wife and I went to Samy's Camera in Pasadena to have over 1,000 vacation photos processed. We had no clue what to do (we are old!) however we had the great fortune to be assisted by Jonn at the film counter. Jonn spent over an hour with us helping us through the possess. Jonn was ploite, patient, and knew just what to do. Jonn was fantastic!

My recent visit to this location was fabulous thanks to Dana M. She helped me a ton with my old camera made in 1990s. I have no experience on how to work a camera besides pressing the button lol. She helped to to see if my camera was still functional and it is. Plus her kindness and customer service went over and above. I'm excited to see what my camera can do. Thank you.

If you're looking for expert advice I strongly suggest you go to Samy's Pasadena. Jason and Clem were MORE than helpful and provided much needed advice on which camera/lens to go with. I was initially headed to best buy but luckily I stopped by Samy's first. Jason went into great detail about the models I was interested in and Clem helped me decide on my ultimate purchase. I was able to walk out with the exact pairing that I needed and I'm very grateful for that. Again, if you're looking for great advice I strongly suggest that you stop by Samy's Pasadena and ask for Jason and Clem. They'll make sure to take care of you. Exceptional service guys! I'll be back for a few things soon!

I came in asking questions about potential camera upgrades (I have an r10 and rf100-400). I was inquiring about the rf200-800 and Juan was honest and gave me realistic and valuable advice on bodies for that lens. Very knowledgeable and would go back to him every time.
