Really poor customer service.
The Receptionist, refused to give her name, and would not inform the tiers of stylists/colorists.
I was specifically looking for the top stylist/Director for a color correction and she was incredibly unhelpful. Especially when I would have ended up paying >$650 for the service.
She then put the phone down on me when I asked her to cancel my appointment as I was unable to get a clear answer from her.
New clients do want to see the work of stylists on social media and saying "[they] have been around for a decade" is not helpful.
Then she put the phone down on me!
Frankly, receptionists don't care if the salon loses business. And there is no oversight or complaint mechanism either.
Disappointed by the interaction here.

Mark is an amazing hairdresser who nails my haircut and color every.single.time. The salon is beautiful, welcoming and chic. The service is top-notch. I always leave feeling pampered and satisfied. I recently visited this salon on Saturday expecting a great service after viewing the reviews. I arrived and everyone was very polite the problem came when they started doing my hair. I showed and told them exactly what i wanted, I asked if that was something they could do and they seemed to be very comfortable with the picture I used for reference. As soon as they started working I saw a couple things that were throwing me off but did not think much of it. The real nightmare started when they started bleaching my hair. They left the bleach on my hair for a really no time at all, after they rinsed me you could clearly see that there was pieces that were much lighter than the rest of my hair. I expressed my concern and they totally disregarded me which is when I started to get very upset. They started giving me options because they knew it was their fault, started offering me complimentary drinks when my hair was the issue ! After I still was forced to pay for the FULL service and after checking the charges i noticed that they added tip for the stylist and even the receptionist . Sadly i will not be coming back !!!

Ashley Jade is amazing! Her talent and commitment to her clients is beyond anything I've ever seen. When I came to her I thought my hair was okay...but after she worked her magic I realized for years my hair wasn't looking that great. My hair color is beautiful and my cut is exactly what I wanted! We talked about how we can strengthen my hair and make it healthier too! She really cares about her clients and listens to what they want. I'm so grateful to have found someone I trust to make me look my best. Now my whole family goes to her too!

I've been visiting Akane for years, and each time, I couldn't be happier with the results! With her expertise in balayage coloring, Akane skillfully transforms my hair from its natural brown shade to a beautiful, natural-looking blonde color. When I arrive at the salon, Akane always makes me feel welcome and comfortable. She takes the time to listen to what I want and even offers some helpful suggestions based on the current condition of my hair. Throughout the entire process, Akane is always professional, knowledgeable, and very skilled. What I appreciate most about Akane is her ability to create a natural-looking blend of blonde with a lot of dimension. This salon is my new go-to, and let me start off by how welcoming the front desk was when I had come in to ask about hair services. My wife and I had been looking for a new hair salon since relocating our family. We always walked by with our toddler when going to get pizza, so I figured I'd drop by during my lunch for a haircut. From start to finish, I felt like I've already been coming here for years. What really drew me in was the positive atmosphere and the willingness to understand what I wanted my hair to look like for an upcoming work conference. My hairstylist delivered and exceeded all of my expectations. I also appreciate the underground parking the salon provides, so I don't have to worry about street parking. I was welcomed instantly, and was offered a variety of beverages which was nice because it's been hot out lately. I have to mention that they do have quite the smooth booking system so the option is always there to book online if you're the type to see what they have for hair services as well as their team of stylists. I'm recommending everyone at my office in the Pasadena area to come drop by for all their hair needs. I will also be bringing in my wife to get her hair highlighted and colored with one of the specialists since my wife needs a new stylist. Thank you again to the dedicated team at Salon Xia for helping make our first salon experience in Pasadena a great one.

I've been coming to Akane for half a year now I love her work !! She has left me feeling beautiful every time although the first time I came to here my hair was all kind of messed up it was so uneven and I have tried different hairstylist and never accomplished what I wanted they always did what they wanted , since the first day I have booked Akane she has done a excellent job discard all the obstacles she managed to make it work , She always aak if I'm ok or comfortable she is beyond nice ! This last time I came to her I need a last minute appointment because my parents weeding was this weekend and she did a excellent job!!! She told Me it was going to be a working process to get the desire color I want ! Because all the uneven tones but every time I go she blends every so nice !! Ans this time she left me with a beautiful color tone thank you Akane I love your work and I would continue to go to the salon !!!

If you come here definitely go to akane! She's literally amazing and makes all your visions come true. I've been using her services for almost a year now and she always gets it right! Especially because I change my color every time I go Definitely recommend her!!
