I've been seeing her for 15 years and each visit is even better. She is big on staying up to date with new haircare and technology. I've been getting scalp treatments and my scalp health has improved 100%. She takes her time asking what I've been doing to care for my hair and scalp and she is a true stylist.

I was referred to Dulce Lopez of Salon Oveja Negra from a stylist in Chicago, IL. I was moving to LA and needed someone I could trust. I've been going to her ever since. Almost 3 years!! I have thick curls and for most of my life went to places that had no idea how to take care of curls, or give guidance. Especially for men. Dulce completely changed the way I take care of my hair AND my scalp. I have a regiment now. I know what to stay away from product-wise. She is more than a stylist!

I've had the honor of knowing Dulce for over a decade and here's what I'd like for you to know: 1. She is kind, attentive, and an excellent listener. 2. She REALLY loves learning, and is always educating herself about curls - products that are healthy for us - etc. You can tell immediately when you ask her a question about the science of hydration, for example, how jazzed she is about passing on knowledge to her clients. 3. She cares about her clients, and remembers what you've shared in the chair.I have always had short curly hair of some kind, and she's taken me through a pixie to a bob, and back again many times. I always know I'm in good hands. And, knowing her for this long...my hair has changed (postpartum, aging) and she has guided me along the way.Salon highlights:- Beautiful and laid back- Easy parking all around- Close to great shops and coffee- I love the Innersense products she carries and will continue to get to know their line.* She also cuts my husbands hair so it's a whole family affair. We are big, big fans of Dulce and have followed her to wherever she is cutting hair. And now, we're incredibly proud to see her open up her own salon.
