I’m in town from DFW. Since I had some extra time, I decided to stop in. They had some nice pieces at very affordable prices.
It was mostly older women shopping, so some of the pieces seemed to align more to that crowd. However, it wasn’t limited, just maybe a bit more geared toward them. Some women were shopping for a cruise and hit the jackpot with dresses.
No one greeted me, but maybe that’s just a southern thing. If I’m back, I’d definitely give them another chance based on other reviews.
Also, it’s kind of tucked into a neighborhood, so if you’re not looking, you may miss it.

When I go to Pasadena, this is my favorite consignment shop to go to. The owner carries upscale brands of clothing at wonderful prices. you can get some lovely designer clothing at very fair prices. I highly recommend this place you can tell the owner takes pride in the shop. I've been going for over 30 years. It has moved to different locations and I have followed it and I've always happy when I go, because I always find something out of the ordinary.

I came by to drop off a dozen contemporary brand designer dresses, some of which retailed for $250-$350 from Bloomingdale's. The owner's son was very cordial on the phone. His mother picked through my clothes (some with tags on, all dry cleaned and pressed) and made me feel like I had brought clothes that were garbage. I ended up leaving a few pieces behind to consign. It took them a few weeks to register the items and to send me an email with an account. The store itself did not have an upscale client feel to warrant leaving name brand or designer goods there.

3.8 The mixed reviews demonstrate different experiences-- as a purchaser of gently-used high quality clothing versus as a seller of used clothing items to this consignment retailer. As a customer I found the shop to be a delightful place, with some unusual gems of style that are not standard issue TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Macys caliber wear. For example, I found well-fit trousers and winter outerwear that are cheaper than would be sold at high-end clothing retailers like Bloomingdales. It's also nice to meet other customers who are looking through a bunch of second hand clothing. A supportive and encouraging vibe may be found here with others looking for pickings amidst a random bunch of strangers' pre-owned clothes. It's also nice to be inside a parlor and rooms in a residential house, beats a big box retail store that lacks any kind of character. As a prospective seller I was a bit surprised by the rather dismissive and condescending tone of the business. While I am understanding of a certain level of quality control to ensure that their inventory meets a certain standard, there is no need to be palpably condescending, ever, in a business situation. A polite tone or decent interaction would serve such a business well. For example referring prospective sellers to some rational guidelines that are the basis of judging clothing items (to accept to sell in store) would seem reasonable. It would make their business seem more professional. The business could assert that based on their (stated, public) criteria they can't take the items. They could follow up with, if the seller were to return with other or the same clothing that would meet their criteria, they would be welcome back. Otherwise, it's like racial apartheid America of a few short decades ago: someone takes a look and makes an inscrutable, ad hoc judgement, "Don't come here because you look like you don't belong." Very poor taste in my opinion. As a customer of used clothing, I would recommend at least looking through their potentially rich pickings!

Very attractive arrangement of items. Prices were reasonable for the quality of garments. Will definitely check in regularly. So glad to have found a clean and we'll styled resale shop near me.

Very cute shop with a unique collection of items! The customer service was warm, inviting and friendly. There was a lot of vintage Bottega and Gucci and a ton of great clothing. I cannot wait to go back! What a gem!

Jennifer is one of the rare ones! I recently inherited some items I knew nothing about. Unfortunately, I inherited them from the sudden loss of someone very close to me. Already going through a tough time I felt incredibly lost and broken. With expenses adding up and depression setting in I needed to figure something out quickly. This led me to Ritz Resale! I feel there was no mistake I found this Gem. I explained I knew nothing about the items and was trying to figure out if it was worth the 150-plus cost to authenticate them. She agreed to help me out despite my being unable to compensate her. She helped me by inspecting the items and showed me the individual markers for making an informed decision. This act meant so much to me because it showed me kindness still exists. Here I am broken down and needing advice and she helped me with nothing in return. That is almost unheard of. So that's why I have to make sure Ritz Resale IS heard of. Check out her store for you or a sister or a mother. Do it today who knows what you may find. Well besides an angel named Jennifer and her great team that is!

If you’ve never been to Ritz Resale in Pasadena, don’t miss the opportunity to go in and check it out. It is such a wonderful store with a fantastic inventory. The prices were very reasonable.The owner Jennifer and her husband Vic were so delightful & helpful. Really the nicest people. I even inquired about possibly consigning items with them in the future and they explained the process so clearly, which I really appreciated.It was a great shopping experience. I would definitely recommend this gem ? to everyone. ?️ ? ????

Incredible selection of luxury items from shoes, bags, perfume, clothes all in amazing condition (a lot of their items still have the tags, unworn). The staff is very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. This is a must go store if you live in the area and even if you don't it's worth the drive! You are guaranteed to find a treasure and maybe a friend. It's also great to support a small black family owned business that has been operating since 1982 and they make it super easy and affordable considering the high quality luxury products.
