It's a place with quality products. The owner (at least I got the impression he's the owner) really knows his stuff. He confirms you have the proper setup before selling you any animals. He warned me about tannins before he sold me driftwood. They have great deals on superworms, and on floating plants like duckweed. Large aquatic plant selection, which is what brought me into the store in the first place.
Their saltwater section is especially impressive. If you keep a saltwater aquarium I highly recommend this place.
edit to add- I do wish they had more freshwater shrimps. They actually separate the cherry shrimps based on the color of their morph, which large pet chains don't do. So the shrimps maintain their colors.

Great fish. Healthy. Steve, the owner, is awesome and so helpful. I have a 120 gallon fresh water tank and my son has a 150 gallon salt water tank. I trust Steve over anyone. I've been a customer of his for 30 years. Highly recommend this store !!!

I love this fish store! My kids especially do as well. They have a vast variety of sea creatures and the healthiest fishes I've seen compared to a lot of aquarium shops I've been to. Plus it's so spacious too not the kind where you have to side step away from others just to get through the lane, which I truly like because it would bug me if someone bumped into my kids and not apologize. It's a must go to if you are in need of fishes or supplies in general. Also a very friendly environment with a vibe of calm cool and collected with the knowledge of just about any questions you would have for them. Prices are very fair. Please don't haggle. It's definitely not cool to do. Thank you very much PTF Family! Our family will always shop here!

I go for here for my saltwater tank. Has everything that you need for saltwater and freshwater aquariums, a nice selection of coral as well. Prices are especially good on Sundays!!!!

Before finding this store, I was in about 9-10 others , this the only place you can buy fish and some of them not die in an about week. Firs time I visited Tropical fish during pandemic and I got feeling, that despite good variety and fair prices, this store owner is going to retire soon. Place was chaotic and kinda unorganized, but from then on I noticed that store is much better every next time I visit it.

Store is a little chaotic. Good supply of aquarium stuff. Bettas all looked roughed up at least 2 dead. Would not go back.

If you're looking for the PetSmart experience you're in the wrong place. This is more of a place for people who are already familiar with fishkeeping. I've found great deals here. After taking a break from my last failure I've decided to try just doing a small set up. The 2 gallon rimless tank was only $15 and the total of all the rocks was also about $15. It was also for some reason the only place I could smaller bags of sand. There's an ok selection of plants here and a great selection of livestock. There's also good selection of other aquarium decor like dragon stone and driftwood and a bunch of other fish supplies that you'll be hard pressed to find even on Amazon.

It's a small mom & pop shop, but more like just pop shop. I know he's only open from 10/11-5pm, but the owner has been there for over 40 something years by himself at that location. Please be patient as he may be helping another person. I mainly come here for the variety of bettas. It's a great selection and not quite like the $5 bettas you find at the local conglomerate pet store. Yes they may be a little more, but you are getting a more exotic color scheme variety of regular size to king betta to giant betta. Yes there is a difference between them.

Entire shopping center is pretty jaded. Lots of building have peeling paint. The actual store is just as old and worn out. When I went on a Sunday morning, the fish tanks were dirty and there many bags of fish were stacked up on a table waiting to be put into tanks. I guess they were too busy to put those fish in the tanks before the store opened. Because of this, there was no customer service other than a cashier who didn't look very friendly. (I hope that wasn't Steve.) The aquariums look like they could use a bit more care and the fish looked pretty stressed out. I saw many fish hiding in the upper corners and lots of raggedy, torn fins. The two employees look like family members who had other places they'd rather be. They should at least wear conforming uniforms which would make them look more professional. Prices were about average for a fish store, maybe a little above average. Selection was barely above Petsmart or Petco. I'm not sure if it's worth spending money or time here.

One of the last few good tropical fish stores left.. they have a more selection of tropical fish than your local petsmart or petco, one of my last few go to places for fish and freshwater plants, don't ever close!!
