stored my car with the $350 upfront deposit and $350 monthly fee totaling $700 still waiting for my $350 deposit.
I called and keep getting the runaround saying they are “moving”
don’t store your car here they fried my battery and I am also out a $200 diehard gold battery

The owner Kurt crashed my car , basically a hit and run . I have video surveillance of the incident. His face and his blue tow truck is on this video . I showed him and he send me to hell. Be aware your car is not safe in his business. I have pictures and all . I can’t seem to upload pictures of the incident nor pictures of our back and forth messages of how crook and bad business owner he is.

In March, my vehicle was damaged while it was under their care. To my surprise, the company denied any responsibility and refused to cover the costs of the damages.Determined to resolve the matter, I took legal action by pursuing a case in small claims court. I was relieved when the judge ruled in my favor, recognizing the clear evidence of negligence on the part of Private Car Storage. However, my relief was short-lived, as the company has failed to comply with the court's order and continues to evade their obligation to compensate me for the damages.My repeated attempts to communicate with Private Car Storage, both to collect the court-ordered judgment and to negotiate a reasonable resolution, have been met with silence from their end. This lack of accountability and disregard for a legal decision is deeply concerning.I feel compelled to share my experience to caution others who may be considering using Private Car Storage in Irvine. It is disheartening to see a company that fails to honor its commitments and disobeys a court order, undermining the trust and confidence of its customers.Should anyone wish to obtain further details about my situation, I am more than willing to provide additional information without compromising the privacy or integrity of Private Car Storage. This company is very professional and came and picked up our car fully equipped with a whole team and made the process so smooth! We didn't know if they could get the car out easily due to a tight spot on a narrow street but they were very knowledgeable and We are very satisfied with the service and will definitely recommend!

I had to leave town for 5 weeks and needed a plce to store my car. I did a little bit of research and called a few places before deciding on this shop. I came back 5 weeks later and my car was ready for me. Here's the details.1. The Pasadena lot is located in a GOOD area. It's near Pasadena city college with flat streets and easy access if your car is low. It is NOT on the edge of an abandoned scrap yard in an industrial area like a lot of these places are. I had no concerns about my car being broken into once I saw where it was located.2. The outside lot is non-descript, cheaper to rent ($185), and decently secure with cement walls and a front gate. The inside lot is more expensive to rent but if you have an exotic or rare car the price is probably not your concern.3. They don't discriminate based on your car. They also won't treat your car worse just because it's not a white BMW. There are some car storage business that only store particular makes/models. They'll place them in what is basically a show room floor as a form of advertising. This is NOT one of those places. No disrespect if that is your type of business but if you really value your vehicle I'd think you'd want to be as discreet as possible when it's in the care of others.4. The staff is pleasant. The techs that actually handle your car are enthusiasts themselves so they'll entertain whatever odd request you have about storing and handling it, especially with older cars that operate differently. I had them pull a few fuses and disconnect my negative terminal. I also have a bucket seat that won't fit a waist size over 34 without crumbling and they got a younger dude my size to move it around. I legitimately said "No fat asses in my seat please." and my wish was granted.5. You call them when you're picking up the car and they have it ready, almost like a valet service. I did not know this. The young dude (Alex?) had my car ready. I would have tipped him if I knew before hand. Next time I guess.5. They do not prorate fees and they tell you this upfront. You pay monthly. You also pay a deposit for last month's rent which will be re-credited to you (takes a few weeks).Overall, I would use this service again. The cost is worth your peace of mind if you have a rare or sentimental car that is priceless to you.

I don't agree with their business model. I was there recently inquiring about having my car there. They have a first and last month required payment - in other words $600 upfront. No problem.The employee who assisted me sternly said shortly after they DO NOT prorate the last month.When I repeated what she had said in a hypothetical ("if I were I pull my car put let's say on the 32nd day, I'm out $300 dollars?") She replied "well, normally we don't prorate but we can work with you.I don't like being pinned on something and being under the mercy of discretion. You're welcoming a potential client. Although I understand policies in order to operate a business, I also recognize the difference between a warm business encounter with flexibility as they assume their clients are not the type to exploit a bit of a honor system. I gravitate to this. I like working with people with a bit of entrust. Since I am to entrusting them eith my car (surely their liable however no one wants to deal with those headaches), I would expect a degree of reciprocity on their end. I didn't like how she backpeddled after she noticed my quick disinterest after she said this.I passed. There are other storage area with similar pricing.

WARNING: THIS GARAGE HAS A RAT PROBLEM! RATS CHEWED THROUGH WIRES CAUSING THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS IN DAMAGE TO THE ENGINE! We've kept our brand new SUV with private car storage for almost a year while we settled in London. The first couple of times we came back to CA there were no issues and everything seemed smooth. During our last trip back to California, we planned on selling my brand new X7 M50i. When we picked the car up we noticed the engine sounded like a lawn mower. We decided to bring it to the BMW dealership straight away and have it checked out. They found that rats had chewed through the wires in the engine and that they would have to remove the engine in order to replace the wiring. Needless to say, we could not sell the car and the damage done was over $6500. We tried to be reasonable and ask private car storage to cover the cost of the repair only. The manager, Stephanie Mui told us that our insurance would cover it and not to worry. Well our insurance will not cover the full cost of the repair and there is a balance of $4500. Not surprisingly, Stephanie has been stringing us along as if she is willing to take responsibility for the damage. It's been 4 months and she's still telling us that she needs to "talk to the board to get approval." We've hired a lawyer and will take them to court for not only the damages done to my car but also for the all the expenses associated with our travel back and fourth to deal with this mess. Needless to say, you cannot trust private car storage with your car. There are plenty of reputable and ethical car storage facilities in the area. You can even check with your dealership for recommendations.

This is the second time we've used Private Car Storage. What an amazing team! I can't imagine anyone putting as much effort into their customer service as Stephanie, Eddy, and Michael. Amazing service, awesome attitude, and just genuinely nice people.

THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! 10/10. I stored my car here for almost 2 years and Stephanie and the team took amazing care of it. When I received it back, it was in amazing condition, clean and in great working order. I can not recommend this place enough if you are looking for somewhere to store your car. They are responsive and helpful in every sense of the word! Had an amazing experience!

I stored with vintage collectible custom restored trailer with Private Car Storage for 2 years at their Pasadena lot. The team is very on it and professional and nice and helpful. I was a little apprehesive at first to have to set an appointment every time I wanted to get my trailer in or out, having previously been able to get it whenever I wanted, but the team was always super accommodating. I always felt safe with my trailer in their hands.

Had a very positive experience with storing my car at Private Car Storage in Glendale, CA. They had an option to purchase a trickle down charger to maintain the battery life and car cover to help protect the vehicle while in storage. My car was there for almost 18 months and I opted to store the car indoors. There was pricing discounts for paying 6 months up front and each time my window was coming due, I received an advanced call asking about extending it. No hassles. Pickup was very convenient and I was able to schedule that with little advanced notice. The car was ready upon my arrival and the checkout process was simple. I also received a close out report via email with photos of my vehicle taken at time of pick up. I would recommend them and would use them again if I have a need to store a car in the LA area.

I was looking for a great spot to store my car. I LOVE my car and wanted it to be in good hands. I was LUCKY enough to come across Private Storage. They took amazing care of my car, accommodated keeping it charged (an electric car), and provided fantastic customer service. Stephanie was amazing to work with - was extremely knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I 100% recommend Private Car Storage and Stephanie's service. Will definitely be using them for any car storage needs in the future. Thank you!!
