This mechanic worked on my 2006 Toyota 4runner v8 Limited. I came in with knowing what the issue was with my vehicle and they diagnosed it to be exactly what I though(aka they are truthful). They replaced multiple valves and other pieces. They use only OEM parts and guarantee there work. They aren't as cheap as other mechanics but they are defiantly worth the wait and price! Unfortunately I need some work on my vehicle and had to cancel my appointment due to funds but I still Recommend 10/10

Highly recommend Pasadena Automotive for your auto repair needs. Abraham is very knowledgeable and has completed work on my car that dealerships couldn't figure out. 5 stars for quality work, reasonable prices and quick turn around.

Was recommended by a mechanic that doesn't do the type of work I needed. The guy with the beard gave me a bad attitude as soon as I walked in. Told him my check engine light came on and OBD reader came back with a code. Tried showing him the code and he says "That doesn't do me any good".. Wanted to charge me $225 to run diagnostics. No explanation as to why he can't use the code I provided, nothing. Very unprofessional and has bad attitude. I didn't feel comfortable leaving my car with him. Ya'll be warned.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I have an older 5 series BMW and Abraham was able to fix a long standing issue that the dealer could not figure out. He is reliable and honest. He always fixes everything right the first time. Don't waste time with other shops, just drop your vehicle off here and let Abraham do his thing.

Great service and really spot on diagnostics. I had a few issues with my Subaru. The shop ive used in the past didn’t seem as reliable as they used to be. My wife had taken her car here in the past, and I really liked how the owner didn’t talk down to her or I. so I thought I’d give them a try, and I’m really glad I did. I had a few service things done, but my biggest concern was a rattle in the front end that 2 other places couldn’t find. I very happy to report that the rattle is gone! Now, they’re not the cheapest place I’ve ever gotten my car serviced, but they are the most thorough. I’m my opinion the repairs were worth every penny. I have respect for their integrity and trust in their workmanship.Services: Engine repair

After a month of trying to finagle my car, with an unhelpful brother, some WD-40, and some slipshod equipment - at one point using a kitchen knife - I called around for help. The lady on the phone recommended that I stop by the shop to get a diagnosis and I was in and out in no time when I made it in the week after. Thank you Pasadena Automative for clearly explaining my car's issue and cost, and fixing the issue promptly!

I became a dedicated customer to this shop in February of 2019. I am the original owner of a 1998 Dodge Dakota Truck and a rebuilt engine that was installed in 2017 by a different mechanic had become faulty. The mechanic who installed the engine was no longer available so I went to a well-respected shop in Pasadena. When the problem was deemed too serious for them, without hesitation, they referred me to Abraham at Pasadena Automotive Repair. The problem with the engine was quickly diagnosed and a replacement engine was sent out and installed. Mind you, it was like looking for a needle in a haystack to determine where the faulty engine was purchased from. I did not have a record of this and the original mechanic had passed on. Abraham took care of everything with the truck and it has never run better. Driving this truck is like going back to 1998. So good, haha. If you want your vehicle to run properly, go to the very best. Huge thanks to this company for their excellent service and knowledge.

This mechanic is a gem, a one of a kind mechanic who is very detail oriented and honest. He will not throw parts on your car just because it can be done. He will try to get to the root issue of why your car is not working. The diagnostic fee is well worth it because you will in the end save money and time to get your car working in ship shape order. Highly recommend!

I have a 2013 Ford Fusion SEL with just over 250,000 miles on it. I've had an issue with a persistent oil leak for well over a year. I've taken it to the dealer and as well as a very well known and allegedly reputable repair shop in Glendora. It never seemed to be completely fixed, and the one shop in Glendora finally told me that the car is simply really old and it's just going to have a leak of something or another here or there, so just get used to it or get a new car. So I've been driving around with a car that I'm not comfortable with for quite some time. Then my car developed a new leak, and it was quite noticeable. My boss at work said to take it to Pasadena Automotive, as that's where we send our company vehicles for maintenance and repairs. It's a bit of a drive, but I sure didn't want to take it back to the dealer or that other shop in Glendora, so I made my way to Pasadena Automotive. Abraham asked me if I could leave it there and I said sure. The next day he called to give me the run down. Yes, I still had a definite oil leak, and that was due to the valve cover gasket not being installed correctly (thank you repair shop in Glendora). The fluid leak was from a cracked radiator. He also found a number of other issues, including where someone (that would be the shop in Glendora) used a cheap and incorrect aftermarket coupling that was leaking hot radiator fluid onto another hose beneath it, which was causing that hose to blister and leak. What's more, he found that the oil pan plug was not the right one (thanks, Jiffy Lube), and the air filter housing clips were missing and the housing was cracked (and again, thanks Jiffy Lube). My axle boots were torn, which I knew that they were, as that shop in Glendora told me that they were, but not to worry about it. Turns out that both of my axle connectors (?) were completely busted in two, which was causing the rough ride (which I thought was normal) as well as causing extremely bad/uneven tire wear. There was more, but you get the gist of it. It took him just over a week to get the correct OEM parts in and get it all fixed. When I came to pick up my car, he had saved all of the busted parts in a box, and he took the time to over what each busted part was, what it did, and how it was causing what problems. It's been over a month now. There is not even one single drop of any kind of fluid on my driveway. The car handles like it's brand new. Smooth ride. Smooth idle. The power is there. My 13-year old Ford, with 253,000 miles on it, runs like it did when I bought it new. Fantastic. Look, if you're in a big hurry, and you want a cheap, half-ass fix done with cheap (and quite possibly incorrect) parts that might not last, then you don't want to come here. If you want it done right, and are willing to wait for the repairs to be done right, then call and make an appointment to bring your car in.

I got referred here from another mechanic. They've worked on both my Dart and Volvo. Both times the work was done quickly and reliably. I would trust these guys to work on anything.

Was referred to this business by mechanic who didn't do the work I needed. Was disappointed to find they charge a $180 diagnostic fee which they don't refund from the work done. Certainly their perogative to do so. But charging for 2-3 hrs of work when many things are diagnosed within minutes by computer just seems wrong.

This is literally the best automotive shop I have ever been too and that's from PA to NC to CA. Professional, friendly, and so helpful. Abraham and his wife will sit and argue with your insurance company to help save you money. I would highly recommend to anyone
