We have been antiquing for quite a while and been to a lot of different antique malls but regrettably we had a very unpleasant feeling this time at Pasadena Antique Center and Annex.
We brought three items to cashier. First item ran smoothly. The second item we picked was at the station which had a giant 50% off sign; however, when the cashier lady was writing the receipt we noticed that she only put 20% off so we immediately inquired her about that. She told us that item was 20% off. She said, yes it is confusing because the seller has two different codes, one for 50% off and the other for 20% off. And the item we picked was 20% off. Since my husband really liked the item so we bought it anyway. The third item was a ceramic jewelry box with a stand as a set. There is also another set like this next to it. The cashier lady kept telling us they are two separate items. The funny thing is there's only one price tag. She insisted the ceramic jewelry box and the stand are two separate items and must be paid that way. She wanted to contact the seller and get back to us. We said that's fine. We told both of the cashier ladies that my husband actually was interested in the stand, not much the box. Next day we got a call from them and the seller wanted $12 for that stand only.
In comparison, we have been to Pasadena Antique Mall for several times and we really love that place. Over there my husband found a similar set as mentioned above and actually liked the stand. Pasadena Antique Mall insisted it's a set with one price tag. If we buy it we must get the vase.
On the other hand, Pasadena Antique Center and Annex insisted the ceramic and the stand are two separate items even though there's only one price tag. They made us feel we're lying and stealing which left a really unpleasant feeling for us. Neither do we like the way how they mislead customers to think all items at a particular station were 50% off. If we hadn't looked at the receipt while it was being written down, we would not have found out till we got home.
We have been to so many different antique malls all over southern California, this is the first. Sorry to say we will not return to this place and will not recommend this place to our family and friends. And please look closely when your receipt is being written down and make sure if what you get is a set or separate items even with one price tag and displayed that way.

Beautiful things - just very overpriced. You’re paying a premium for curated vintage.

My fiancé and I came here a couple of times this week and it didn't disappoint either time. The first time we stopped in, we found a bunch of antique bottles we plan to use as wedding decor for a really great deal! Several vendors had sales going on when we stopped in, so that was a lucky find. The staff and vendors greeted us and made sure we knew they were available if we needed any help. They were all very kind and friendly. One guy was so helpful getting the bottles off a high shelf for us and packing them up. And then the woman who checked us out was so sweet as well! We came back today because I had an appointment to try on wedding dresses at one of the booths, Cream & Ivory. Let me tell you, I have scoured the internet for vintage wedding dresses, and I was very impressed with the selection here. I would have been happy with several of the dresses I tried on to be honest, but I did find the perfect one I was looking for! Morgan, the owner of this booth, was so kind, patient, and helpful with getting me in and out of some of the dresses. (FYI: there's a little dressing area with a curtain in the corner to change, but you'll need to make an appointment with Morgan to try on the dresses, as some can be understandably delicate and she can help you carefully change into them.) As someone that feels uncomfortable and out of place in a traditional bridal shop, it was a lot of fun to try stuff on here and felt very relaxed and chill. Morgan is really cool and easy to talk to. She also gave me helpful and honest feedback and wasn't pushy or pressuring in any way, quite the opposite actually. The prices are beyond reasonable, which is so refreshing both in this economy and in the wedding industry. I love that it's important to Morgan to keep some cool vintage wedding gowns accessible in a city like LA. I'm in love with the dress I went home with today and really enjoyed my whole experience! Thank you Morgan, wishing you lots of success with your shop!

During 2021 and 2022 I easily spent $20,000+ at this business. I used to love coming here and shopping for antiques and felt like the vendors were more than just sellers, they were my friends. Unfortunately, due to the employees this antique center has hired over the past 2 years, I no longer spend my time or money here. Is hiring radical feminists a reflection of the business they work for? Why yes actually, yes it is. Which is why I felt compelled to leave this review. Not all the employees here are bad but sadly, as they say, it only takes 1 evil misandrist to ruin the lot. Or a business. Or a life. #standuptoabuse

I come here all the time I spend a significant amount of money. Yesterday I came and asked for information on how to become a vendor and one of two ladies behind the counter spoke to me as if I was a criminal , she was rude, she treated as if I were mentally challenged just because I asked for a pen. She is is a rude lady... I feel bad for the owner or manager because. She is the nicest but her staff seems to always be bother by questions , behind the counter talking about personal life, but it's not just those two ladies it's all staff. They do walk around doing racial profiling making sure I don't steal anything and place it in my CHANEL BAG... lol my Chanel bag, Balenciaga shoes and Gucci sweater are worth 8k but they follow like as if I were a gangster ready to robbed place. I was just trying to rent a spot. :(

Probably the most bountiful and expansive antique mall in our Pasadena/San Gabriel valley at least. Beautiful or artfully ugly wares, take your pick because it's all here. Some of our favorite dealers reside in this seek and find labyrinth of treasures, everyone exceptionally supportive of one another, that's for sure. If you can't find one thing to leave with, you haven't been a lookie loo long enough; today treated myself - it is my birthday - to an Italian country cookbook and a tiny vase. Love the eclectic sensibility here- truly something for everyone and whatever floats your boat, you'll find it in here as you meander through all the tiny passages and hallways!
