I waited 3 months for an appointment as a new patient, which I was understanding about. Finally my appointment came around and I was 7 minutes late due to parking being an issue, plus someone was in front of my at the front desk to check in so I had to wait. And they turned me down telling me I have to reschedule. They said their “no show” policy is after 5 mins and because I was 7 mins late to check-in, my doctor said she couldn’t see me. Horrible first experience because no accommodation or compassion.And after looking at this location’s reviews I can see this isn’t a new thing—other people have also experienced similar negative experiences. I would not recommend this place. If you’re looking for physicians/people who show compassion, don’t waste your time, go elsewhere.

Staff was mean. I was 15 minutes late to the appointment because the office was moved to a new location, 401 S Fairoaks, S Pas. Google map was not updated. It still showed 988 S Fairoaks, S Pas. They would not let me see my doctor. They said they didn't have any availability until almost three months later! They rescheduled my appointment to June! No flexibility!Hopefully my medical issues go away by then.

i loved Healthcare Partners and have been a patient here for more than 15 years. Today i tried to book an appt with any Doctor or Nurse Practitioner and was told i couldnt see a doctor because one of my symptoms is a cough. isn't this a valid reason to see your doctor? i have taken several at home covid test and they are negative but the girl on the phone basically said too bad. i am beyond upset for the lack of care and concern.

Appointment at 10:45 am and 40 min later I walked away without seeing the doctor.This is the 3rd time it happened, previously waited 45 and 50 min.Definitely changing my PCP.?I call last week to a phone number included in the response to this review and someone supposed to call me back. If I waited 40 min to see the doctor, how long I'll wait to receive the call?I'll see.

I use to love Healthcare Partners. They were efficient and friendly and I never had any problems. Then Optum took over. Forget that. It's all but impossible to get an appointment. If you call you have to crawl through a horrible menu that typically leads you back to square one without ever connecting you to a human, and when you do get a human they haven't a clue how to resolve anything. Their website is impossibly Byzantine in its design, and I was told at the office that they don't even use it. Today I get a call from them saying I missed a follow-up appointment to discuss results from an ultrasound that I got two weeks ago. Trouble is, nobody bothered to inform me about that appointment. And when I called to see what was going on, the clueless person on the phone said I could reschedule in a month! Feh! These clowns make Kaiser look good.

My experience at Optum as a new patient with Dr. Avakian: Everyone was really nice, professional, and the whole process was very quick... the quickest appt ever (yay I work so I like fast). No sitting in the lobby and doctor's office forever, what a switch. Dr. Avakian is a good listener, good eye contact, very attentive, covered everything and more, I really liked her. Dr. Avakian makes you feel very comfortable. She's not snobby, smiles, and has a good manner about her. She was open to questions, and I liked the fact that when I talked she didn't ignore me. She was engaged with my health concerns/questions and brought to my attention services that I had forgotten about so covered it all. I walked out of the office tremendously satisfied, and so happy I chose this office and doctor.

I've been with Optum since they were healthcare partners, no medical group is perfect but with Optum it's disappointment after disappointment. The doctor I used to see was decent but the level of care didn't seem genuine and i always felt rushed out. I am always the one following up with either appointments or follow up bloodwork, which should be on them. Again, not all receptionist are great but this place has too many of them lacking people skills and lack of patience or just plain common sense. It's not always a welcoming place and I will be looking for a new medical group that prioritizes my well being.

This place is horrible. I have a PPO and kept coming here when they were Health Care Partners. Now that they are OPTUM they totally suck!! The receptionists are like the Gestapo. I am leaving this medical group. It's the worst.

When the Glenoaks office was under Healthcare Partners, I could reach someone at the office very quickly. I called today, with a simple question about the flu shot, and it took four minutes of going through menu choices. Then, the person answering the phone said only "doctor's office," instead of identifying which office it is. This is unacceptable. I have had good health care from this office and recommended it to many people in the past, but I would be hesitant to recommend Optum to anyone.

Very satisfied with the service I get from this location, I've been a patient of Dr Hejri for over 7+ years and I can't say enough good things about her, very knowledgeable, highly recommended.

Whenever I run into someone who goes 150%, I like to acknowledge them because I think it's important. Her name is Gabriela and she assisted me with setting up an appointment for my son. I wasn't able to get things taken care of with another person who was taking appointment calls and initially, I thought I was going to be told to call back that number but instead, she went out of her way to make sure I got my son his appointment and I am very appreciative. I don't make it a habit to get emotional, but when someone puts forth extra effort to help another person, I think it's a beautiful thing...especially during these confusing times.

Very poor customer service. Tried several times with 2 phones to reach someone to reschedule appointment. Was on hold in queue for 45 mins. with no one responding. Calls were reverted in Satisfactory Survey without ever speaking to anyone. I have left messages to have someone contact regarding the poor customer support. Would recommend going to a different facility.

OVERLOADED! Even before COVID it always took months to get in for an appointment. When I finally got to see a doctor I brought up another minor issue and they told me I had to make another appointment to discuss.

I’m not impressed. Poor phone service-horrible recorded selection menu. Understaffed- critical technicians “unavailable because of...” looking elsewhere.

This place is a total disaster. Whoever picks up the phone is extremely rude. There is a billing issue where they didn't update my insurance after I gave them my medical card and reduced a $1600 bill! Called back and the lady tried to blame me for not telling them. Then she transfers me to billing wait 20 minutes and no one picks up. I call back asking to be patched to billing directly and she rudely says just keep calling! Then I keep calling and guess what? Surprise No one picks up. The service at this company is just plain awful and I hope the business or owners read this. To the billing dept if you guys want to get paid please contact me!
