Luke periodically cut both of my son's hair spanning over 50 years. I went to Luke's Barber today, 2/15/24, to get my hair shaped and the doors were closed, locked, I couldn't see through the windows and the phone number has been changed. I'm trying to contact Luke, Keisha and Joanie. If anyone knows what happened please post. Thanks

I went in for a haircut with my friend and had my haircut by a pleasant young lady. I asked for a high fade with a zero, nothing off the top. The barber forgot and buzzed my hair off the top before I could remind her that I didn't want the top of my hair cut off. at this point, she wanted to just leave half of the top cut and leave the rest of the hair as it was. this didn't make ANY sense to me, so I asked her to please even it out. mind you, I was very pleasant and understanding, even thought it was most definitely not what I asked for nor what I wanted. and then when she was cleaning up the hair around my ears, she cut the top of my left ear with the trimmers and just rubbed off the blood with her finger and wiped it on the left side of my head. . and still, in an effort to not embarrass her or be rude as there were other people having services in the salon, I was polite and stayed quiet. I just figured I would call the owner or the front desk after. i figured the owner would understand as he was in the chair right next to my barber, watching, and hearing when I told her to just go ahead and take the rest off the top since she had already taken some off, even though I initially asked for nothing to be taken off the top. I wasn't going to just walk out with half of the top of my hair buzzed really short, and the other half twice the length. so after the haircut, I went to the front and pay the $25, and I still went back to the barber and tipped her five dollars because she is a human being and we all make mistakes. This was an issue that the owner should have taken care of at the appropriate time, which I thought would be once I called after I had left. So I called moments ago and the owner picks up and I explain to him the situation. He responded to me by saying, " the hair is gone. well what do you want me to do about it?" rude, condescending, and completely unprofessional. He should train his barbers better if he's going to put them on the floor. I wouldn't suggest does barbershop to my worst enemy. absolutely terrible. Patches all over, a complete waste of time and money. and now I'm going to be forced to shave all my hair off with a razor because it's that bad.
