Dr. Hillier is the best, she is straightforward and no nonsense but truly cares about her patient. After reading the other reviews I do have to say that the very first time I saw her I thought she might be a little distant but there was something about her I liked. I took responsibility for that interaction because I may have been too sensitive. She's a Dr. not a greeter at Target. She listened, she asked questions. We never know what someone's day is looking like and I gave that to her on my first visit. Maybe she was having a bad day? WE DON'T KNOW what people are going through. I gave her another shot and went back. It was much better the next time and I have not had a problem since. She has been thorough, thoughtful and considerate. She does not push unnecessary drugs/shots treatments if she can see that I'm more conservative about taking anything more than I need to. She/the office respond quickly when there has been a referral needed. The office staff has also been super helpful and very nice when I have interacted with them for anything.

Dr Hillier is always available for emergencies, effective, responsive and very clear in her recommendations. I like her no nonsense style. She doesn't dwell on warm and fuzzy but she's super pragmatic, friendly, supportive and to the point. She volunteers suggestions on lifestyle and natural options if asked. I feel like I'm having a normal, trustworthy conversation with somebody interested in my well-being, and I very much appreciate that.

Find another doctor. Did not address symptoms of brain tumor except by writing prescriptions for headache pain and upset stomach. Did not return call for request of a MRI for my head on a Wednesday because of worsening symptoms. Went to ER on Friday at urging from family and friends and had tumor removed on a Tuesday. Never heard from her.

Dr Linda Hillier has been my internist for about 15 years. I recommend Dr. Hillier and her office highly. Her office is well run. The staff responds promptly to calls, messages and faxes. It's easy to ask Dr. Hillier questions and she answers promptly, clearly and thoughtfully.

Takes time with you regarding your issues. Makes suggestions and referrals relative to maximizing good outcomes. Friendly and encouraging. It's a good back and forth exchange over the years.

Dr Hillier has turned most of her patients over to a PA. It is very hard to speak with any physician on the phone. Any questions must be relayed. It is a very slow process. L

Dr. Linda Hillier does not take any time to learn about her patients. Both of my daughters and I had very negative experiences with our Annual Physical Exams with her. She never took an adequate medical history or took any interest in exploring how we were feeling or if we had any questions about our health. On two separate occasions we had to call her to get our lab results and only then did we learn of abnormalities in our lab work. My one daughter has a significant history of kidney issues and Dr. Hillier sat on a positive UTI result for a week and didn't prescribe antibiotics until after we called her to find out results of our lab work. Very irresponsible on her part and dangerous to our daughter who has a compromised kidney that shouldn't be neglected. Do not recommend her. Horrible bedside manner and not easy to talk to. Very dismissive, distant, and cold.

If you are not onboard with unnecessary statin drugs that have a long list of negative side effects including diabetes, then don't go to her. My first (and last) appointment with her only lasted two minutes. When I told her that I won't take statin drugs and asked if there were any natural alternatives she could suggest, she ended the meeting saying that we were not on the same page. What really concerns me is that she wasn't open to hearing my reasoning. I didn't even finish telling her that when I had my heart attach 31 years ago, my cholesterol was alarmingly low because I was on what was then the popular low fat and high carb diet and that after my surgery, and still today, I eat four eggs fried in ghee daily and eat red grass fed beef at least four times a week. So at 62, if I made it without statins for 31 years, I am not gonna start now. I'd rather die naturally than take statin drugs and risk bringing on diabetes.

I hate to be the person writing a complaining yelp review, but after my experience with Doctor Hillier, I have no problem being that person. I hope to save other potential patients time, energy and money. I am young and looking for a new general doctor, someone who takes the time and shows effort in taking care of their patients. Let me walk you through my appointment. I waited in the exam room (not waiting room) for over 45 minutes and when Doctor Hillier came in the room, she didn't even introduce herself to me, or give me a chance for me to introduce myself, or explain any of my own medical concerns. She just sat down and started asking me about what known medical conditions I have and typing. When I told her I had generalized anxiety disorder, she was pretty dismissive. In the world we live in today, mental health is a serious problem and if you're still dismissing it, do some research. Doctor Hillier showed no care or interest in my mental health background (which plays a HUGE role in my health). After that, she gave me the QUICKEST physical I have ever experienced. She took maybe 2.5 seconds to do my breast exam and gave me attitude when I asked her if everything felt normal. When she went to check my nose and mouth, without asking, she took two fingers and yanked my face mask off my face. Regardless of politics, it is rude and disrespectful to pull anything off of anybody's body without asking for permission. I would expect a doctor that has been practicing for fourteen years, to be much more professional than that. Patients at-least deserve for you to tell them that you are going to pull down their mask or pull up their shirt. And by the way I'm not an idiot, I knew that my mask was going to come off during the appointment, but expected professionalism and not downright disrespect. She took maybe 7 minutes max to run my physical and then sent me off to get blood work done and get a urine sample. Not even sure why, she didn't tell me what the blood work was for or that I was even getting a urine sample in the first place! Shit's expensive, I want to know what I am paying for. I wasted my time, energy, money and blood! I suggest you don't do the same.

I've been going to Linda Hiller Dr for the last 15 years she's become involved in politics and discusses politics with the customers instead of their health needs she says like we're slipping into Socialism why can't you just be happy to be in America etc. I'm like well I didn't say anything I'm here to test my blood for some problems I have she said do you want unnecessary test I'm like oh my god this lady wants to argue she's lost her touch I will never go back to her she's interested not in the health of her patients she just wants to make a quick suggestion and move onto the next patient sorry she's gone downhill I can't recommend her do you have to be careful with your your health and when you're paying good money for insurance like I am my PPO plan is 1500 a month I want to get my checked out she just wants to do the basic check up once a year she's not interested in helping since I stopped going to her I've had more results with other doctor now explaining my situation it was a good thing to get out of her control she's interested in saving money for the insuranceCareful think about everything she's changed a lot I'm not interested in arguing with her I can't go back there never

I picked Dr. Hillier because of a referral from Huntington Hospital staff member. I also checked her background and not only is she board certified in internal medicine (abms.org), but she renews her certification (not all do). The times I have seen her, she has been very easy to relate to and grasps the situation quickly while asking questions and listening. She is collaborative and enlisted me in taking steps to resolve the problem. She asked me about specific meds she recommended and advised certain exercises (and gave me a hand out). I liked that she tries first-level treatments before going into more complex dx and tx. She is efficient and prepared forms to refer me for regularly scheduled procedures as well as taking care of my current issue. I was able to snag a cancellation & got to see her right away this time. The staff is pleasant and professional. Conveniently, the lab is next door, and the staff calls with lab results. Close to Gold Line Fillmore stop & parking often available on the street.

I have been seeing Dr. Hillier for the last 3 years. Each experience I've grown to dislike her. My in-laws see Dr. Pachorek but he unfortunately is not accepting new patients. I've worked with doctors before & im never opposed to seeing the associate of the practice. Even with the negative reviews I gave her the benefit of the doubt. Most recently I made an apptment to see if I might have ADHD due to my lack of attention etc. she was very dismissive, made a comment saying "maybe what you're studying is boring" sent me off to get blood work done and to see a specialist. If you want a doctor who lacks compassion or just information in general about your mental health go to her!

I've seen Dr. Hillier for about 2-3yrs as my primary care and there was always something uncomfortable about her treatment. Trying to be positive I blindly doubted my gut, that this was not the doctor for me. The location was very clean and organized. That's not exactly the whole reason why I go see a doctor though. A doctor is someone I'm hoping I can trust to care for me as a human. My last attempt at giving Dr. Hillier a shot showed me exactly what I needed. I came in and told her my symptoms she immediately jumped in and said "this is a UTI I'm sure, I'll send the medications out to your pharmacy and so you can feel comfortable we will do a urine test". When I gave the urine test to the nurse I asked her when I would know my results by and she confidently responded that I would know by the next day for sure. Unfortunately a whole week passed and I called the office many times and the staff would just say Linda Hillier hasn't had time to open my files and there's files ahead of mine and I will have to just wait. Unfortunately 2 weeks pass and I'm in so much pain with blood in my urine now. I call the office and tell them my symptoms are worse and I'm scared, they again just tell me Linda Hillier hasn't opened my files yet. I rush to an urgent care and the doctors are upset over the treatment of Linda Hillier and they call her office and ask them to fax the files Dr. Hillier is too busy to open. The urgent care doctors read that it is a UTI and that the medication Linda Hillier gave me would do nothing to the bacteria I had. So I had been on medication that was useless to my condition and Linda Hillier had no urgency to check. The care of the urgent care doctors and the disappointment I saw in their reactions from Linda Hillier treatment and office taught me that I should've never doubted my gut. Linda hillier is a cold hearted doctor that seemed bothered every time I would come in for an appointment. Still hoping there would be a positive ending to this I was waiting to see if the staff or Dr. Hillier would call me and apologize for the lack of care and that never happened. I went on to now having a bloody painful uti for a total of 3 weeks under antibiotics and hoping now that I don't suffer a yeast infection. I'm glad to now be in a new primary care with an amazing that's sensitive and empathetic to me as their patient and that reminds me nothing of the coldness of Linda Hillier.

Dr. Hillier is a skilled and knowledgeable professional in her field. She answers my questions and I trust her advice - a rare find in healthcare.
I have been a patient of hers for years and felt the need to post because of the bad experience a person had re insurance vs. Dr. Hillier's care.

I've been a patient of Dr Hillier for 5 years +. She's patient, listens, and has been a great physician for me. I've recently moved away and it will be hard to find as good of a replacement.
