I made an appointment for 6 PM and when I got there, they said they weren’t taking any walk-ins. I told him I made an appointment for 6 pm. The guy who responded was apparently the manager and he was cleaning a car who asked sarcastically, “what time do we close though?” I asked why would they even accept appointments on their website after hours and he just replied “we close at 5” without even looking at me. The rest of the staff there was not helpful at all. They seemed all in a hurry to go home. Whoever is running operations needs to figure this out. I went by the next morning to get my scheduled rental and I had the same attitude from the same staff. Never come to this location. All lazy and incompetent. Not helpful and they’re all there just to be there. They don’t care.

I booked a car last week and came back to return it today, and booked a new electric car two days in advance. But the very rude and unprofessional staff said that there were not enough vehicles to meet my reservation because I had already rented a car last week, so I could not replace it. But the problem is that today I came to return the car first, and then rent another car,these are two completely independent things, again,I made the reservation in advance. The most important thing is that there was a car I wanted to rent in this store at that time, but the staff just didn't do anything . It can be said that the staff have been passing the buck throughout the communication process, without any help and with a very bad attitude, such staff do not meet Herz's service standards at all,they should be shame on themselves . Because I had returned the car but did not get a new car , so I had to spend extra money to take a ride home.Hope Herz can strengthen the training and management of its employees.

Funny how this Hertz location makes Uber users clean their cars before returning them. I never had to do that at the Hertz location in Las Vegas. In fact, I’m still trying to find where the contract I signed says I have to clean it before returning it. That has always been the job of the car rental agency, not the individual renting the car. Can’t quite figure out why the Uber drivers are being singled out to do this work. What I do know is that involuntarily servitude is a federal crime banned by the Thirteenth Amendment—you can’t coerce or otherwise make someone perform labor—like washing a car—for free. I’ll keep searching for the terms in my contract.

We reserved a car online. Had to wait about 10 minutes. Once we did talk to an agent, he said he didn’t have an ETA on when a car would come in. Come on Hertz. You can definitely do better than an ETA. It’s better that no cars were available than to go through the cancellation process. Very disappointed.

Feb. 2024I've rented cars from the 2070 E. Colorado Blvd, Pasadena location for at least 5 years, but I am totally turned off with them now because no one answers the phone. I have an upcoming pickup reservation and I needed to ask a couple of questions. So, I have no choice but to drive there in person to ask my questions. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!This will be the last time I rent a vehicle from this address. : €

While this has been my preferred location for years now, it is frustrating that we are in 2024 and still receive the notice “If you made your reservation today or yesterday you’re on standby.” I should not be able to make a reservation if it is not in fact a reservation. It leads to a waste of plans, Uber expense to hertz, and reliably.

These guys are awesome. I’ve been renting a car from here for many months now. Special thanks to Stan and Duan who go out of their way to be accommodating. The manager Art is also really great and can help with special pricing. It gets really busy here and it’s a small spot so be as patient with them as you expect them to be with you. Thank you guys!

Forget these ? Go to enterprise instead. Day after a major Holliday dozens of reservations on the books so what do they do, they have 2 guys working the entire operation and they clearly don’t give a damn about your time. One guy was way too cool to take off his shades inside. Looked like a complete tool but at least he was moving at a snails pace. His buddy took literally 45 minutes to do one single rental while 15 angry customers waited. Ultimately it’s not these workers fault, they’re probably understaffed and underplayed but whoever is in charge obviously doesn’t value your time or mine.
