I love this pharmacy as they have been able to refill hard to find prescriptions. My only complaint is the attitude of the staff on the phones.

This Pharmacy used to have very caring staff that really cared about patients. Since the pandemic the pharmacy has become choatic, a patient will stand in line waiting for an RX pick up for 30 minutes before anyone will ask to assist you and my physician transmitted my heart medical electronically and receiced confirmation that Cal Oaks had the prescription and Cal Oaks Staff advised me the prescription was not received and or was expired, that was not the case. I had to call my cardiologist on a Saturday and have him resend the prescroption to a Rite Aid in Glendale where the staff was helpful and very apologic about the incompetent service I received at Cal Oaks Pharmacy and that was just the Pasadena Location at 55 East California. The San Marino Location is even worse, the staff is rude the manager is totally rude and does not want to be bothered with any type of patient assistance with regard to RX medications. Going Fordward, my doctor is sending my prescriptions to AMAZON Pharmacy online and the medication will be delivered the next day. I would not recommend this pharmacy to a dying heart patient.

Go to CVS - the clerks are rude & the pharmacist never gets my perscription right - one of the clerks looks like the character from Strangers with Candy

I was fed up with the big box pharmacies being out of stock of my kiddos monthly Rx’s and not caring. Cal Oaks has the small local business feel. No long waits, the employees know your name and greet you with a smile. Only caveat is to make sure your prescribing provider sends RXs to the Pasadena location as there is a San Marino location as well..

I have to compliment and comment on Jay.He is the star in the Pasadena retail world.? Absolutely he makes having an illness almost woth it.And of course the owner the gorgeous marvelous Minah is aTreasure to cherish.And Tina knows everything go to her if you have a problem and Tina will make it go away.

This pharmacy has the most exceptional customer service! I have a challenging script I have been sourcing with them for the past 9 months and every interaction I have with staff has been kind and respectful. When they can't get what I need they help problem solve. When information is needed from my doctor they make that call. Even when results are frustrating I feel like I have a team working with me and it makes disappointment easier. Move all your business to this pharmacy. You won't regret it!

Staff is personal and responsive to customers and will contact by telephone when prescriptions are ready for pick up or delivery. Vaccine shots available without prior appointments. Easy, convenient parking.
