Refered here by my podiatrist for a much needed orthotic. Was left on hold for 20 minutes. Called back 4 days in a row, no one picks up phone, left message with answering service during hours of office operation, that was 3 days ago. Podiatrist office called with no success. My experience is an unprofessional one and I have not even walked through the door. Needless to say it's best I go elsewhere.

Referred by Kaiser MD to obtain back brace. I am insured by Medicare thru Kaiser. Rosie from Hanger Clinic called to set appointment. In advanced I asked what my co-pay will be, expecting it to be free or a minimal amount base on MD's estimation. Rosie said it won't be free and to expect to pay approx. 10% of retail $37.50. If 10% = $37.50 then retail to the uninsured public would be $375.00. I used to sell back braces and the retail price was never more than $50.00. In my opinion Hanger Clinic needs to review their, "Fraud, Waste and Abuse", policy if they continue to accept Medicare payments.

This clinic has been a dream come true. I received a back brace that is so comfortable to wear and also gives amazing support. The staff is kind and amazing teachers .

I had a bad experience with a person that helped me he didn't want to follow my doctor's instructions he just wanted to ordering me Pair of tennis called balance. I waiting for a long time for him to come back to his room he never came back. And I'm so upset I'm going to tell the doctor he didn't wanted to help you me the tennis I'm so mad. He just let me in the room for a long time I never came back

I'm a bilateral BTK amputee and have been going to Hanger for 5 years. I'm on my 3rd prostheses and the fit has been increasingly better. When I walk with long pants people have no idea I walk on prostheses. They fit really well, and if there's a problem they figure out how to address it. Vardan and Tom for one of the protheses, have been my prosthetists and are very professional, detail oriented, experienced and explain things really well. It's an incredibly complex job, requiring accuracy, artistry and dedication. I compare Vardan to Dr Spock, he speaks very straight and is scientific about what he sees and what the problems and solutions are. From what I read on Yelp some people find that difficult to deal with. Too bad, I trust him and from experience know that he won't give you a finished product without going through all the processes and having checked all the avenues to make sure the shoe fits.And Rosie is great,,experienced with dealing with insurance and helping out with appointments, she's what her name suggests.

I went to the Oakbrook Terrace location, on of the worst decisions of my life. I've been trying to get an appointment , get fitted fro shoes and orthotics since December 29 2021...to no avail. i wated for my first appointment from December 29th 2021 until June 14th 2022! Finally received shoes and orthotics about 6 weeks later was told if they don't work out they could be returned. Two months later she's hurt my feet ordered different pair....have never been contacted regarding shoes!! Contacted Manger Mary Jane regarding getting my money back and returning their orthotics, was told I can't return the orthotics and I will only receive $18.46. I'm going to contact my insurance company and let them go after Hanger Clinic/Scheck&Siress. Please please don't go to this place, trust me, you'll regret it. This has been a 10 month ordeal.

If your Dr has referred an order for supplies Hanger Clinic is the place to go, they are very welcoming, friendly, & courteous. This a very professional office, I've been going there for a few years & would highly recommend them.

I was so disappointed with my consultation with Vardan. I was there for an AFO. From the moment he walked in I could tell he was either in a bad mood or just had a standoffish personality. He mentioned how he didn't like to sugar coat, and needed to be direct with the information however he truly made me feel awful and hopeless with my situation. He kept saying you have a deformity and are not normal. He gave no positive options, suggestions he just sounded like this is what I'm offering take it or leave it. I left there, worse off then when I came in. Vardan, find another line of business. As for me, I'll go somewhere else.

In 2006 when I first experience my foot drop, I was fitted with 5 different foot braces before I finally stop using them. In the last year I have been falling more so tried a brace again. Hanger nailed it. I no longer need my walking stick.
