I recently visited the General Camera repair store to have my Canon camera checked for focusing issues, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience! Jon was incredibly knowledgeable and offered valuable advice. He even cleaned my camera quickly and for free! I’m impressed with the service and will definitely return for any future needs. Highly recommend!

Don’t bring your film cameras here they overcharge and under deliver have brought several cameras in with minor issues and John or the guy that fixes them will always say it requires a full service and will quote you 250 dollars EVERY TIME sometimes that’s 4x the cost of the camera. I get they’re a small business but he’s an A hole about it. Take your business elsewhere

Friendly people, knowledgeable, fast repairs and good repairs. Fixed my Mamiya 7 lens in about a week. I'd rather not have my camera break again but it does this is the place I would go first.

I had a great experience with General Camera Repair and would recommend this shop to anyone with a vintage camera that needs to be fixed or cleaned! I took in an old Nikon film camera that had been dropped, the lens was bent, and it was very dirty. They restored it back to what feels and looks like new again for a very reasonable price! They are kind, efficient and very knowledgeable.

The BEST place to take your camera for repair and maintenance! John has worked on my Canon 5D Mark IV and my 1DX Mark III. He is straight forward and honest. After repair, he cleans everything (sensor, mirror, dust, etc…). My gear feels and looks almost brand new. All within a few days turn around. I’m glad I didn’t ship to Canon. It would’ve taken weeks. Thank you so much!!!

Great small business thats been around for ages.Brought my leica over as it was having some minor issues.Took the camera to the back to take a look and we eventually figured out an easy fix to keep the camera going until a major service.Didnt charge or ask for anything. He even took out a brand new still in box lens to help diagnose the problem.Really cool people and would come back again for assistance in the future when im back in La

My Nikon 24-70mm lens was having zoom issues. I brought it to General Camera Repair, John gave me a written quote if it was repairable, if not - no charge. John called me 3 days later with great news that he was able to repair the lens, and that it was ready for pick-up.John is very knowledgeable, and service oriented. I highly recommend his services if you are looking for a prompt, fair and professional experience.
