What's the deal with the rude associates! They definitely need some customer service training. Be careful if you ask for assistance looking at anything on the floor. On the bright side, the store does have a wonderful selection of gear although the prices are a bit high.

Incredibly rude rep didn’t even try to help me out. I came in looking for snorkeling gear, said there were 3 of them left. When I asked the rep for help he simply said, “If they’re not out we don’t have them.” I politely asked if he could check, he said, “You know where you got these from? If they’re not out we don’t have them.”
I’ve worked outdoor retail for years, and still do. I never had someone so set on not helping. I had to ask the manager to help me, to which she kindly did and guess what, there was some available! He came around the register and said, “So you asked her to get it for you?” He was terrible and I don’t think he should be working there, he puts the ick in Dick’s.

A very nice lady named Ashley helped me find the best fitting shoes. She’s a superstar! Great positive attitude and can-do spirit! She made my trip to this store very easy.

Would give zero stars if I could. Went to exchange my broken Stanley cup and was told I couldn't exchange it because it had water in the straw and couldn't be put back on the shelf. I mentioned there was water in the straw because I was going to use it but it leaked everywhere so it was broken. Skylar the "manager" said I couldn't exchange it and I asked if they put broken items back on the shelf and she said yes! So be careful because they sell broken items

What a joke this store is. My son got a bat as a gift but it was slightly too big. I was told it was from this store but they couldn't find the receipt. I went into their website and read throughly about the stores return Policy. Clearly stating you could get store credit with a valid id. I figured I would just immediately rebuy the same bat in a smaller size, but nope .What does Cameron at the register tell me? She points to a little printed sign behind the register saying they don't do returns without a receipt as of December .Even though it's in their policy and on their receipt that they do. I ask for the manager who tells me they are part of a "pilot" store that stopped this. Pilot for what? To see how many customers will be mad? Wild. I get the customer service number from Shao and call from my car. Wouldn't ya know... they sent me back in the store to exchange my bat. How ya like me now, Shao? Look if it wasn't part of your policy then I wouldn't have even tried. But you can not lie to your customers . It's wrong and maybe even illegal . I'll never give this location my money again. Shoutout to Norma with customer service though. She was great.

Terrible customer service, their in store return policy does not correlate with the online guidelines. All I was trying to do was get store credit, and they could not even do that.

Dicks in Pasadena has a very good selection we typically go to this store very often. Although we recently had an awful experience went tonight they had a rack full of sports bras which we thought was a very good deal! Well you go to the register and the associate calls the manager the manager comes and states that those are not the ones on sale I tell her that the whole rack has the same sports bras, she proceeds with saying that the ones on sale they have like 4 of them. If you supposedly have only that amount remove the sign so there is no FALSE advertisement. Needless to say she was rude about it too! Sucks that stores like this hire bad management. If she would have said sorry for the inconvenience we will proceed with removing the sign so there is no confusion nothing what so ever. Dicks do better in teaching these managers how to talk to customers better. Don't have bitter people who hate their job or are bothered that they can't do their job right!

There was an angry lady with red hair at the exchange / refund desk that had too much attitude today. I just wanted to exchange some shoes my partner bought me for my birthday a few weeks ago and I had the receipt. I was okay with them not having the next size up so she suggested a refund, but the barcode wasn't scanning. That's perfectly fine; l will come back with my guy and the card he used. She kept cutting me off and speaking to me like I was a child when I was asking questions. And then she told me, "I need you to just step over here," and put my boxes to the side. I wasn't done asking questions lol. I tried to tell her at the beginning it was a gift and she didn't listen. It didn't feel very good. She was immediately aggressive and was so short with me. I've never been here before but I definitely will be avoiding her when I go back for my refund. All the smirking and smart talk just isn't necessary, they're shoes, take it easy girl. I had plans to look around in the meantime to pick out some new shoes, but after that interaction I just wanted to get out of there ASAP.

I was calling to there for a sneaker release raffle. A clerk answered my phone with rude attitude. Told me there’s no raffle for the sneaker release whatsoever. Then when I call again on Tuesday, they say there’s a sneaker release already happened on last Saturday. That’s sad and disrespectful.

My husband wanted to try on a couple things. We asked an associate and she just said "there's someone in there" and walked away from us. We started walking towards the other fitting room and she yelled "there's someone in there too" and didn't bother to offer any other assistance. She was really rude and seemed to only care about stocking clothing items. It was a horrible customer service experience. We found what we were looking for with no help from anyone. I wouldn't visit this location again.

I've been a dick customer since early 2000 I'm used Dick's Insurance a u r i o n for my daughter's softball bat I'm very displeased it's not worth the purchase it says hassle-free to file your claim I did everything it asked me to I kept calling and they still will not honor my insurance that I paid perfectly good money for my daughter's bad started making a rattling sound we were still under coverage the bat has no pop to it and every time I call they tell me the date is wrong the date I filed the claim they tell me it's missing a signature they're doing everything in their power to avoid processing my claim so if customers read this get your get your back from somewhere else or do not purchase the insurance Dick's Sporting Goods I'm giving you a negative 10 did you even research this insurance company you lost a very loyal customer

Please be aware this store is selling used shoes and perhaps other items as well for full price. I had some Hoka shoes that were brand new and worn one time. They hurt my feet and two different store managers told me if they can't put them back to sell they won't return them. They told me if I can clean the bottom of the shoes they would take them back and resell them. On good faith I left the shoe bottoms as they were to be an honest person. It seems that profit over people is more important to this store. Who knows what else is being sold as used for full price. Buyer beware.
