Every time I visit this store... homeless persons are allowed to walk out without paying....driving up retail costs and turning the store into a free for all.
CVS never addresses theft issues allowed to fester and grow out if their control. I feel for the staff as it isn't a safe and secure work environment. Thank the L.A. Metro board to not stop homeless loitering on the adjacent train platforms which bring homeless.to the area.
To address everyone who was treated horribly by staff or security....blame it on CVS management and the L.A. District Attorney which allows hourly crime to occur i side the store. Homeless steal everything every hour. The place has badic items locked up like its the ghetto. So, who would want to work in that environment. The lack of customer support and being profiled comes with the territory when crimes are allowed to fester (by a lazy district attorney), which discourages proactive policing and response. The staff have their hands tied by CVS mandates and poor criminal prosecution . So, the combo makes for a a hostile workplace that no one cares about.

I just love CVS! Everyone is so nice and helpful, especially the head Manager and the pharmacy. I usually visit on most Wednesday mornings. Thank you CVS!?

I come in here all the time to buy an energy drink or a snack before work, even during my break sometimes and it’s usually not a problem. but 2 weeks ago i come in, in my work uniform with some headphones, waiting in line at self check out because it’s the only place they have the sugar free red bulls, and a cashier comes up to me asking multiple questions like if i was going to buy anything and i kept saying i just want to buy a redbull and his tone was very condescending. there was a lady in front of me too and he didn’t ask her anything. then like 5 seconds later another cashier comes up to me giving me a dirty look and asked if i needed something. i just said i wanted to buy a red bull and she rolled her eyes and turned around. i don’t know why they came up to me but their attitudes were terrible and i felt like i was being treated as if i was going to steal something. not even the security guards treat me that way. now i feel very uncomfortable every time i go in but i work across the street so it’s the only place i have

For CVS to give the public the service they do is outstanding, due to the fact that they must watch the store like a hawk in order to prevent theft. Hats off to CVS. Keep up the good work.

CVS in Arroyo your customer service staff is expectational, very pleasant & helpful. But the items that you lock up are incomprehensible. Irish Spring bar soap 3pkg for $4.19. I wasted at least 10 minutes today looking for this soap not thinking that anyone in their right mind would lock up a $ $4.00 soap. Seriously, just stupid.

This is the "Soviet" CVS. Many bare shelves and generally depressing atmosphere. Update: Pretty much the same on today's visit.

Unfortunately the pharmacy staff is a bit inexperienced. Got a text Rx was ready a couple days ago, no text to say that it expired yesterday so Rx was not ready. When I asked them to call CHLA, the first 2 staff people said “how about you sail them on Monday, we don’t know if they’ll pick up”. (It’s Saturday) Really? This is emergency medicine that’s needed now, and everybody (remotely in medical field) knows CHLA has an after hours service for emergencies. Of course I got very angry they offered no options, until I insisted they call them immediately and keep me updated. Why send notices of filling Rx if not to send one when it’s actually nit available or there is an issue? That’s putting people at risk, who in good faith rely on text saying it was ready. Misleading. As fur the staff, I assume they’re just all junior, most likely not their fault, just lack of training.

This location is my favorite CVS location. Today I was helped by Tina. She was so knowledgeable, and had such a positive attitude that made my day so much better. The staff is always kind, welcoming and attentive. I always find the items I need in stock. I also feel safe shopping there because I see they have a security guard. They have such a clean and neat environment that I appreciate. Thank you all for being such an amazing team.

I’d agree with the other low star reviews. This cvs is ok but the pharmacy often can’t answer my questions, doesn’t communicate when there is a problem with my prescription, and are hard to work with. I keep coming to this location because of the drive thru and my insurance ONLY covers cvs. I have a frustrating experience with cvs in general, so I’m not sure how much better other locations are. However, recently I have been turned away coming to pick up a prescription and told to come back later despite the prescription being filled and getting a text to come pick it up, sometimes it is way too busy here to pick up prescriptions anyway, and often the parking lot is full. If you live right next to this cvs the convenience might outweigh these issues— it’s right along my commute from work— but the quality of the experience has steadily been decreasing.

Came to this CVS on 4/13/24 at approx@ 1:40am. The employees were very rude especially this dum security guard standing inside the store throwing dirty looks to customers and following customers inside the store like if they were criminals up to no good. He was stalking people in the store he was acting VERY STUPID and PATHETIC Maybe in reality he is a thug that stupid dum guard at this CVS location.
