I love Christina. She was able to fix my black hair to dark brown in basically one visit. She also is super nice and will make sure she understands what you want before she acts upon it. Unfortunately, she only works 3 days a week so I had to book with another stylist at the same studio. I was told to book with Connie from front desk. HUGE mistake. First, when she put the color on my roots my scalp was burning instantly. I had to say something. It's never happened with Christina. What really was upsetting was that I had the worst cut of my life from Connie. I asked for a bang trim from what Christina already had done. The cut is a fringe, curtain bang style. She insured me she understands and starts cutting away. After she chopped my face framing bangs off on one side I stopped her! I was upset and she basically said, it looks good and you can go with Christina next time. She knew I was upset. (still mad at myself for tipping generously) **oh! And I forgot, but she left my hair wet! She blow dryer my bangs and left the rest wet. The worst service. It has now been a month and it has still not grown back and I am dealing with the bad cut. Basically braiding my bangs to cover the terrible job. Btw: I called back and told front desk that I was super unhappy with Connie and I would like to schedule with Christina (still gonna try and go back to the studio) and she unfortunately was not available for two weeks. And nothing was said about my horrible experience. Nothing. It made me feel unheard and unvalued. This is the first bad rating I've left on yelp and I felt like I had to. Leaving the studio. I will NOT be returning. Currently shopping.

The first time I went here I had a great color (Andrea) and cut (Christopher). My only complaint was that he cut it shorter than I had wanted but no big deal, it wasn't the end of the world. I wanted to get my sons haircut there because his original stylist closed her salon doors for personal reasons. I called to make sure they cut kids hair and the recep said they did. She booked my son an appointment with Christopher. Which I thought was great because he cut my hair last time. I showed a pic of what my son wanted but it didn't matter because for some reason Chris decided to cut his hair completely different. The back of the hair is so butchered and choppy. I don't understand what even happened. It looks like he's never cut kids hair or males hair for that matter. I completely regret taking him there. I'm not a mean confrontational person, so I paid and even gave him over 20% tip because I'm just nice like that. I appreciate anyone's service. But I wish I had further investigated the back of his hair. I was concentrating too much on the front because I couldn't believe how short it was and how it looked nothing like what we wanted. He had long hair, so I thought maybe I'm just not used to him with short hair. Now I realized no it's cut horribly and I should have said something. 5 stars for my first experience but 2 stars for my sons experience. (This is a late post. Never realized it stayed in drafts) **Update: owner reached out to me. Yelp doesn't put there how long drafts are on there. It just says to finish them (at least on mobile phone). That guy is still a low rating but I'm raising the stars because of her reaching out.

I went to Crowned recently for a trim. It's close to work and has convenient hours. The pictures on here do no justice. It's a comfy cute place with friendly people. They have adorable and wonderfully soft robes for you to wear while you're getting your hair did. More importantly, Carlos was amazing!!! He helped me feel at ease (I always get weird about letting someone new cut my hair) and he cut my hair *exactly* the way I wanted. My hair looks so healthy!!! I love it!!!!

Csilla did my brows for the first time a couple of weeks ago, and they aren't kidding when they say she is an "eyebrow specialist." She started by actually asking me how I wanted my brows to look, and she listened. She managed to coax a lovely shape out of them but didn't overdo it. And she found the perfect color to tint them with to cover my gray. I've never been so happy with my brows. Also, Carlos did my daughter's hair for her wedding Saturday and he is amazing. He coaxed her super-curly locks into an up-do that was just gorgeous and stayed put throughout a very long, busy and joyous day. The studio itself is open and airy, with cute decor and helpful, efficient staff. If you park in one of the nearby lots, they offer 90 minutes free. I will absolutely be back!

I really wanted to like this place. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. The vibe is cool. Unfortunately, the blow out I got was very disappointing. I've gotten blow outs before where my waves lasted til the next day. The one I got here barely lasted down the block when I left. I had a shoot the night of and wanted to look nice but showed up with limp straight hair instead.

Christina!! Girlfriend is a bit of a genius. I have curly, unruly hair that is very hard to work with, and Christina really handles it. I've had two appointments with her, and the second was even better than the first. She is friendly, a very good listener and super, super good at her job. The salon is chic and comfortable and I love that they offer me a glass of wine while getting my hair done. Very highly recommended.
