I like it here. If you sign up online for waitlist to sell you never have to wait long. Also they can only buy what will sell quickly so don’t be offended when they don’t buy your new unworn clothes if it isn’t trending or seasonal. It took me a few tries to get the hang of it but now I find selling here to be fun and I make some extra spending money.

Crossroads Trading in Pasadena, CA is a secondhand consignment store that offers men’s, and women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories. The inventory on the floor was in excellent slightly used condition. This store had a nice selection of men’s shoes, Vans and Air Jordan’s! Great store! Staff was busy… lots of customers to service!

If I could give 0 stars I would! I sat there for over 2 hours waiting for my turn and saw how all the workers maid their decision weather to buy or not the item and honestly its a very poor system! Asking each other "hey would you buy this"
"Hey you like this"
"Hey what do you think " and so on......
This is so unprofessional and unethical! They stop working and talk to each other so much, its ridiculous! Rachel is so unprofessional and just kept on yawning like she Hadden slept in a week! Worst experience ever!

Crossroads Trading has been in business for over 30 years and has locations across the U.S. They specialize in buying & selling gently used clothing. I was strolling through Old Town Pasadena and stopped in to check it out. The store is fairly well organized - offering a mix of designer and non-designer goods. A few items caught my attention but weren't my size. I may stop in again if I'm in the area.

Horrible customer service. I walked in and didn't even get acknowledged, i can see that they only talk to their white customers. I can feel and see them just staring at me while whispering to each other. This made me feel very uncomfortable, I will not be coming back to this store due to there racism.

I recommend shopping here but not selling your clothes unless you want to be totally low-balled. Unless you're planning on getting store credit, then you get 50% of what they're pricing your items at and it makes it worth it.

Employees at this location think they're the sh** and have no style especially the girls. They have no taste they pick the ugliest things. They don't know what clothes to pick so they have to discuss it with each other which is ridiculous lol. This location need new employees with good attitude and experience. Don't sell at this location you're better off donating your clothes to goodwill or sell at crossroads location in echo park. And Buffalo exchange just opened up down the street and they have great selection.

Walked in to 5 people behind the counter sorting through clothes. First time visiting so unsure of the exact process that needs to take place. So I stood there, and not one single person working greeted or even acknowledged that I walked in (for a visual I'm 6ft and the front entrance is located next to the cash wrap). I then had to ask the staff working for assistance. Only Steph would acknowledge my presence and question. She then pointed me to the kiosk to add my name to the list and await a text to be assisted. Leaving and coming back an hour later, again I was not addressed or acknowledged while entering the business. So I sat and waited, a few moments later a female walked in (she was the complete opposite of what I look like), and she was greeted with a "hi welcome in". Steph obviously seeing my confused look, then decided to assist me, because the kiosk wasn't loading the names "properly". Steph would then in less than 5 mins return my items to me due to not being in season and unable to give any cash or store credit back. Which is okay, I was initially going to return them to Goodwill. But there's a broken process here. And it simply starts with customer service, which this store displayed little to none to a first time customer. Maybe if you look like me, don't visit this location. But thank you Steph for being the only person to acknowledge me. She's the gatekeeper so I guess be nicest to her.

I've never wrote a review about anything until now. Save yourself the time and just donate it to a thrift store. I brought in five bags and they picked out the ugliest things i had. I'm not sure if if the guy with fluffy hair and glasses himself has no taste but I was severely disappointed. I came in and they said no fast fashion but more than half their store is fast fashion. I included some pictures of what they had in store and then I understood that they don't want cute/cool trendy stuff people actually want to spend their money on !

Save yourself time/gas - don't bother coming here! I had to make a yelp account just to rate this location. The girls who work in this location are very pretentious and rude. They lack any customer service, charm, personality. I brought items in and watched as the "buyer" didn't even look through my items, just stood around chatting with coworkers learning over the counter. When called, she said no items were able to be bought because they wanted to winter items. I brought in coats, vests, long sleeves, and pants. The items were suitable items for winter and in great condition. Crossroads Pasadena needs to reconsider the people they pay to represent their business, current and moving forward. They were super rude here which I've never seen experienced in other locations. As for the store, you're out of luck it you're a size L+. They carry no plus size items whatsoever. The items in the XL section I can count on one hand. They need to diversify their sizes and be inclusive. If you're a large or larger, you'll probably be stuck in the men's section or looking at accessories. Not many options in those either. Crossroads Pasadena, you need to buy more sizes L and onwards, the average size of a woman in the US is a size 14/16. There is no reason why there shouldn't be any inclusive options in your store when you are buying items every day. Respectfully, do better. In all aspects.

Overpriced.
Good layout, easy to shop and move around in there.
The few items I found that I was interested in buying I couldn't justify because it's a second hand store and the prices were more expensive than buying new items.
$42 bucks for some lace pants that were not any special brand by any means.
I mean come on.
Staff didn't even welcome me as I came in the store either. Pretty dissatisfied with my experience here.
A wanna be Uptowncheapskate but not even close to compare.

Bad experience I see some white employees. Racism. On Hispanic people. Who’s chopping inside the store …. They buy items from customers low example they buy my Gucci shoes for 80. Next week I went back they have my shoes for 300 dollars. They should stop doing that and. If buying they need to pay more on items.

Terrible experience and probably never ever want to come back again! Girls working here just never pay attention to anything. Totally understand they are young and have no experience but I think it is just common sense to do whatever the way it should've been. I guess the management doesn't care either. The rating on Yelp should be low enough to draw their attention but obviously nobody cares. This business should not last any much longer.
