This place is magical! We've visited this little book store and stucked in pile of books and couldn't leave after 2 hours because we explored every corner of this book store and all the vitage and antique pictures, magazines, books that draw us back in time like a time machine ! Shop owner is the nicest person we've ever encounter as well, she is passionate about the history behind it and we exchanged many refreshing points when it comes to culture and nationality. So lovely that we are going back for more this month !

Lovely little shop! The owner is such a sweetheart, very funny and very knowledgeable! They have many stacks of books because of a consignment, but don't let looks deceive you- this is an absolute MUST VISIT for book lovers!

this place is wonderful! a true used book lover’s dream. they were cataloging a large collection when i arrived and the store was piled high with books. their collection is outstanding and the woman who owns the store was so kind. a great find in pasadena!

This bookstore rules! It's great for browsing and has all kinds of wild books. Right now they have a huge Egyptology collection on consignment, which was super interesting to leaf through. The owner is nice, interesting, and knows a lot about books. She even wrapped one of my books in the clear material that goes on library books (mylar?) and gave me a cushion to sit on when I was investigating some stacks on the floor. Great prices too!

I ordered from afar and I cannot believe the care and kindness that went into a tiny purchase of a used book. Not only did they have THE edition my honey has been coveting, they sent emails to let me know when it was going out, upgraded the shipping, and wrapped it without me even asking?! Beautifully, I might add! Thank you so much!

This place is a gem, truly. You can stop by and see their shop, between Catalina and Wilson on Green Street, but at 11:30 p.m., when everything is closed, you can order from these dear folks online (and support a local bookshop!) and they will get your book to you easily and with a personal touch, too -- www.century books online.com. -- Lynne

My favorite Pasadena bookstore, absolutely.You might think because of its smaller size it might not have what you're looking for, but honestly, they have a huge selection and what's even better, its full of treasures you wouldn't find other places.They have everything from old pulp novels in discontinued prints to interesting beautiful editions of classics you'll recognize, to old books on interesting topics, and newer stuff.And the PRICES. So good. Reasonable prices, don't know how they do it, makes it possible for me to get more whenever I go than I think I'll be able to get.The people who own it are kind and make friends with everyone who walks in the door. Every time I walk in, the woman owner is engaged in a friendly, engaged conversation with a patron, but she's always quick to address you as soon as you walk in.I always order my Christmas and birthday gifts here, because of their wonderful selection, and the amazing (and sturdy) wrapping job they do. They're also very communicative about where your book is and how soon it should get to its destination. They even checked in this year to see if everyone liked the books and they got in safe!Love this place. You should absolutely go.
