Great campus, lots of history. But these days it’s a little different. No longer a free-thinkers art school anymore.

Art center doesn't provide student or staff off-campus housing. So when nearby neighbors in high-end foothill areas like Glendale/La Canada offer Art Center off-campus housing in their homes and have questions or concerns about said off-campus housing (whether for students or faculty), they are met by snooty Art Center staff -- who are extraordinarily downright nasty. News flash: Art Center should be grateful. Our neighborhoods in the foothills are historic, safe and gorgeous. And it's fair to say that many students, grad and under grad, especially foreign or out of town students/staff, don't have a verifiable financial history, so a homeowner is taking a chance on his property and valuables. Therefore, until Art Center provides its own housing, the school will be well-served to behave politely and considerately with its host city residents with which it has a legal fiduciary obligation -- this is civil common courtesy so as to protect neighbors and their property from bad, dishonest, and/or abusive student behavior. It seriously doesn't get any worse than this. Get a grip. Students and homeowners must beware. A copy of this goes to Glendale city Council because they need to see this nonsense and Art Center needs to extricate their heads from their arrogance.

Convenient location, nab supplies sale first week of school! Otherwise Blicks is usually cheaper regularly. Some ArtCenter course specific offerings and used textbooks for cheap.

If you want to make cars that look like an anime child's dream they got that. As for the other departments, they leave to want for. It's a private school, like any private company, make money doge accountability.

I graduated with Honors on a full Scholarship in 1985 & stared my own business in San Diego, had wonderful 3rd floor loft downtown. After getting married I move to the Woodlands area near Houston TX. to be closer to my husbands son & family. By then I switch to digital photography & working with major corporations 5 miles from my studio. I’m retired & now live in Tuscan chilling, still taking photos.

A great place to get overpriced supplies for the school that is a waste of money and will ruin your life.
