GREAT STAFF!!!!!! Frank(who no longer works there) and Stephanie (Who currently works there) But a terrible influx of pest (RATS!!!) within the past year. I initially rented with them in 2014 and just turned in my two units last week. So I had two 1 car garage sized units with them for roughly 7 years. Great Staff, Great Staff, Great Staff. But within the last year I started noticing rat dropping in one of my units. I alerted Frank because he was the manager at the time. Because I had secondary Renters Insurance separate from Allen Ave Storage/ Right Space Storage, I was instructed by frank to file a claim with my insurance company. I was thinking why would I claim it on my insurance and potentially effect my premiums. So I the rats were plaguing me at the time in one unit. So I just decided to get rid of that unit. There was no food items of any kind in my unit. It was furniture, beds, tables, seats. I got rid of that unit, but noticed started noticing rat droppings at the back of the remaining unit. I thought that maybe I inadvertently transferred rats dropping from the other unit. So I asked (then manager) Frank about it. He acknowledged the rat problem, and said he believed me. I would've been fine with it, but noticed a rat running along this extruded aluminum railing at the back of the unit. That spans the length of the corridor. So the rats can easily walk along the back of units 8ft off the ground and access each unit for food, water, etc. Some of the things that was ruined, Family photos, clothing, wedding dresses, etc. Child's favorite teddy was drench in rat urine and if You know rat urine, You know it stains deep. THE MOST IMPORTANT PART OF THIS ALL!!!! My rent was raised twice while this rat problem persisted. I just moved out the storage facility all together. I'd say about 40% of the first unit's goods were ruined. Some irreplaceable items, some easily replaceable with money. If I needed to put a dollar amount on it. I'd say between $2k to $3k. In the end I just decided to leave with much fanfare, but felt it was my American Duty to alert the public. I did fill out a survey explaining everything I've laid out in this review to Allen Avenue/RightSpace Storage. I've yet to here a response. If they do, I will update this post. I'm fair and believe everyone has a right to redeem themselves. The facility is clean, I walked around looking for rat feces in the walkways. I would think those get cleaned daily to keep up appearances. Again, GREAT STAFF, GREAT STAFF, GREAT STAFF. I do have pictures and video documentation of all this.

I live in Eagle Rock and I have multiple storage facilities around me, but I prefer to do business with Allen Avenue Self Storage in Pasadena and have been doing so since 2018. The team at Allen Avenue Self Storage is always helpful and can accommodate my storage needs accordingly whether I need to store a vehicle or household goods. Everyone is professional, attentive and friendly. Prices of the units are very competitive. The premises are clean and safe. I highly recommend Allen Avenue Self Storage for their exceptional customer service.

The staff was super friendly and helpful. The prices are great and I think you get a good value for the size of the units and some of the amenities like the dollies and discounts on trucks they offer. Highly recommend!
