I have been taking my cars to Accurate Autoworks for over twenty-five years. I trust them to provide honest quotes, fair prices and excellent service through all makes and models of vehicles that I, my wife and two kids have owned. I have even brought in a German sports vehicle to them for an oil and filter change and was accommodated even though they specialize in Japanese-made vehicles. I trust the folks here completely.

I went in without an appointment to get my rotors checked out. I said they were making noise and I wanted them fixed. He called me later and said it would take a long time to fix the rotors, but I did need my engine mounts replaced. He said “it’s up to you”He didn’t fix the rotors like I asked and probably didn’t replace the engine mounts. Just took my money and didn’t do any work. From what I read engine mounts take all day, but they magically had them done in 2 hours? But I’m not a car guy so how would I know if the work was actually done.

Did a great job on my Acura RDX. Needed a new battery, tire rotation, and break fluid flush. Also, reasonably priced. Great communication during the process too. I will definitely take my car back here for any future needs.

If you call and john answers the phone HANG UP. He will act SO CONFUSED if you ask him about a replacement tire and tire price.Me: "Hello sir, i have a flat tire looking for replacement...I get one chance with a triple A tow and just want to make sure you have what i need before i get towed there so im not stuck."John: "uhhhhhhhhhhhh........ stuck? What do you mean?Me: just to check on the tire, if you have it, and tire price. The normal basic questions.John: what you need??? Im not sure what you need........."Me: a new tire to replace the flat can you check if you have that tire so i dont waste my tow there for nothing??John: well UHhhhhH i dont know what kind of tires you have??? So...." basically what do you want from meOBVIOUSLY JOHN IM CALLING TO TALK TO YOU ABOUT A SIMPLE TIRE REPLACEMENT, CHECKING OF YOU HAVE IT IN STOCK AND ASKING THE COST. ID GIVE YOU THE SIZE IF YOU WERENT ACTING LIKE YOU JUST FELL FROM A TREE ONTO MOTHER EARTH. WAS THIS YOUR FIRST TIME ON THE PHONE?The way you treated me like a hot potato made me hang up on you immediately and I'm reluctant for anyone who comes there for any type of service if you stand there acting with your hands in the air all super confused ABOUT A TIRE. You should be the one to direct the questions for me and you should be the one to make this process easier not acting like you dont know what this woman is talking about. Pathetic.

Heads up! They charged me 15,000 for a new engine on a Honda Element, when the average cost is around 6,000, including labor.Forgive me, I was young at the time. I didn't know that I was taken advantage of.Please, be careful doing business with them.

Accurate Autoworkers Pasadena is some of the best car service you will receive in this city. The people working there are very knowledgeable in their field and will do everything in their power to make sure your car is receiving the best care at the most fair price. I collect and trade old sedans and this location is my absolute go to. I've never had an issue with these guys.

We had excellent experience with Accurate Autoworks. Accurate Autoworks provides high value, high quality service. Referred by friends who are long time customers of Accurate Autoworks, we brought our Acura to Ed and Jon. Their team accurately and methodically analyzed the issue with our battery discharging and corrected the issue. At our request they also reviewed the previous mechanic's recommendations of which only one was needed (front struts) but could be safely deferred given our driving patterns. However, Accurate Autoworks did discover a problem with the left front axel seal (not diagnosed by the previous mechanic) that was more important to address, which we did. They also repaired the front door lock which had been damaged due to an attempted break-in. We found the level of communication, workmanship, professionalism, and attention to detail well worth the drive to Pasadena from Claremont. These are serious mechanics who take pride in their shop and want to do well for their customers. This is the kind of high value work we have been seeking as we tend to own our cars for the long term. Costs to do business in California are staggering for the independent shop staying current with car technology, increasing labor demands, a complex regulatory environment, and having to compete with "low cost" quick service establishments. We appreciate the effort to do the work right the first time.

This place was recommended by a close friend, as the dealership botched a repair and I was ready to try an independent shop. They made my 9-year-old minivan feel like new. Reliable and trustworthy.

They charge $150 just to look at your car, but they don't tell you that until after. I came in for one thing and they told me I needed to replace all these big-ticket parts that I replaced a couple years ago at a different mechanic (quoted: water pump $1100, oil pump and timing belt for $2400, plus another $800 for an oxygen sensor- all were at least double the original mechanic who did them). I drove behind my car all the way there, and all the way home. The leak was not noticeable going there, but driving back, it was literally dumping fluid out the whole way. So they even made my leak worse. Did they even put it all back together? LOL. Maybe they forgot a hose or two. I always have older cars and I take very good care of their engines. I would not recommend this place. Plenty of mechanics in Pasadena!

I've been coming here for years with (previously) my Honda CR-V and (now) my Mazda CX-5. The guys are always professional, and I appreciate their friendly attitude and helpfulness. I trust them to give me their honest opinion on my vehicle and a fair appraisal for the work. I don't wait too long for service, and they provide accurate timelines for when it will be completed.Services: Oil change

I previously had a terrible experience at a dealership and decided to give this place a shot. I have a Nissan leaf and if you have an EV you know how hard it can be to find good and realiable servicing. I 100% recommend this place. I had a phenomenal experience from start to finish. Ed helped me. He explained everything thoroughly, was transparent about all the charges, and overall went above and beyond. Everything in my opinion was fairly priced as well. I couldn't be happier with my experience. I already plan to go back for some follow ups and have recommended them a family member who's been struggling to find a good mechanic.

Top notch service from Tim and the boys. Always flexible with pickup/drop-off times and never a half-finished job. They are my go-to mechanics for pretty much any repair. I'll be seeing them in the next 5000 miles!Services: Tires
