I recently had a disappointing experience with customer service when contacting AAA. During my call, I was assisted by an individual who introduced themselves as Supervisor Gigi, employee number "hotel278." The interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional, as if my inquiries were an inconvenience. The customer service provided was below expectations; it was both rude and unhelpful. Additionally, the services offered by AAA, seem outdated and not competitive. This experience has led me to reconsider my future interactions and expectations from this company.

I was there in the morning and the wait was maybe 5 min.... very nice! The receptionist was very friendly and assisted me with energy! My regret is not getting her name. Now Miesha Moore finished taking care of me, she was friendly and was very thorough. Clear and patient. Answered all my questions and was very professional. Lots of parking as well!

There is no longer a direct phone number to the Pasadena office, impossible to get simple information, like "is a notary working in the office today?"

This review is for agent Mark Young and Insurance Business Manager, Conley Jones. Agent Mark Young called me in January 2024 to let me know my renters policy was cancelled in December 2023 because my husband was not listed on the policy, like our auto insurance. - To my knowledge, Mark was aware my husband was NOT on the policy or ineligible, which is the reason for the cancellation. - I was forthright with Mark and told him my husband is ineligible for an AAA renters policy because he opened a claim in the last 5 years with another insurer. - Mark suggested signing me up for a new policy and declaring my status as "single," which he stated "shouldn't be a problem." I immediately email his manager, Conley Jones, because it seemed suspicious, like Mark deliberately signed me into a new policy for commission knowing my account could get flagged. Mark originally called me to inform me of my previously cancelled policy and why, so it wasn't as if he didn't know what could happen next. Conley emails me back to say Mark was talked to and that they'd look into it. Notice of cancellation was received less than a month after signing a new policy because of "insufficient information." I called customer service and they found that it was cancelled because Mark changed my status to single, while my husband was "married," on our auto policy. Mark's manager Conley did not respond with additional information via email. I have called their work phone numbers everyday since receiving the notice but no answer each time, so I finally left a voicemail today. I believe I have had my renters policy removed and and new one written 3 times in total, twice for auto, due to the egregious cold-calling nature of agents desperate to sign me into a new policy without knowing their company's own criteria for eligibility and underwriting. I switched to AAA around September/October 2023, so not even 6 months and all this has happened. The benefits don't outweigh the inability to protect one's coverage.

Unfortunately, there is no zero star but that would have been a more accurate rating. I signed up for roadside assistance on Nov. 7 for the first time. It is now Dec. 1 and still no membership card. I have no idea where it's coming from but living 4 miles from the Pasadena office it could have crawled to me by now. Worse yet, I've called 3 times and was told it takes 7 to 10 business days. It's now been 18! Honestly, these people are asleep on the job. All I get is lip service. Two days ago I received several useless forms and no card was included. I placed my 4th call and wasn't given a timeline as to when my needs would be met. No one can commit, no one takes responsibility. Does anyone pay attention to what they are doing? Or do they perform their tasks (which are part of their job and WHY they are paid a salary) while watching movies on their phone? The worst customer service I've ever encountered and all this from a national organization.

I will ALWAYS go to AAA when I'm selling a car moving forward. No fuss, and best of all, I have zero worries of the transfer of ownership being completed. Plus they reminded me to do the "Release of ownership" online. Truly, a great experience!

AAA can help with a car sale if you ever sell on your own. If you are the buyer all you need is the title of the car and a smog check notice within 90 days of purchase. You'll also pay a transfer fee and sales tax if applicable. They'll handle all the paperwork which is nice because doing it online can have a bunch of snags and it was hard to even tell if we had made any progress.

I haven't been to a AAA office in quite some time, but went today for an international driving permit. They were extremely busy, perhaps because the Alhambra office had technical issues and redirected me and other customers to other locations. All the staff were so friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. I was really impressed!

I have been with AAA for 30 years. Service, reliability & prices are best in business, for auto insurance, club membership, as well as home owners insurance.
