Car battery died today, and after calling AAA, Mr Ernie from A-car arrived within 30 minutes to charge and test my battery. He provided excellent, knowledgeable service. He didn't have my car battery, but Louis at A-car spent several hours calling other AAA trucks and finally found one! Mr. Ernie came back and skillfully installed the car battery. It was tough because it was underneath the passenger side of the car and weighed about 50 lbs. But he spent time to do it right. Excellent customer care & service.

The bad reviews tell the truth. Danny seems cool but Harry is actually an evil man and i caught it on camera. please talk to Harry about what it means to be a human and respect the fellow man.

This servicer has been a problem for us for years. Today was the last straw. AAA dispatched them for battery service. When he arrived, we asked if he could look at the ignition button. For dome reason it's upside down. We mentioned that we had battery service a few weeks ago (our fault that we didn't run the car enough) and could the button placement have been done at that time. That particular service man did a good job and we had no problem with him. Just asking. Well the new guy called his office and they now decline service because they're afraid we will sue them.Avoid these people. If they are assigned to you by AAA in the Pasadena area, decline and ask for a different service provider. If they had happened to pull this kind of crap on the freeway, we'd be in danger.

After my 2014 Subaru Impreza failed to start, AAA sent Alpha (with a battery truck) who ran a diagnostic test and discovered that the battery was okay but there was a possible problem with the alternator or starter. I needed a tow. Zulu soon arrived and when I told him what Alpha had said, he wanted to double check. Thank goodness he did because he discovered that the battery connection was loose; he spent a minute manipulating the thing, had me turn the ignition, and (miracle of miracles) it started right up.Zulu saved the day (and untold hundreds of dollars). Thank you, Zulu!

They have my truck. I think there just doing some not good stuff by even taking my truck. The city of Pasadena is not cool they be doing to much. And I m a visit and I get tried like crap. I want to sale my truck but they keeping it

I requested a tow through AAA, was told A Car towing was coming out. Waited over two hours and no one called. Then they just message last minute, only because I called and they said we don't have any drivers. They could've told me that within the hour and would've have been understanding. Horrible business practices

I'm not a fan of leaving bad reviews. My Audi was being serviced by Audi of Pasadena. I needed the vehicle towed back to my home and contacted AAA. AAA contracted the job to A-Car to tow my vehicle. A-Car called me up to confirm the pickup and drop off location.I told the gentleman on the phone that if they were planning to secure my vehicle to their flatbed by using tow straps through the wheels, I would like it if they could place a cloth between the tow strap and the wheel to avoid any scratches to the wheel. The A-Car staff member immediately became apprehensive and started making up excuses to not tow the vehicle because he was assuming there is a lot of liability. Dude, it's a simple matter of placing a rag between the wheel and strap. These guys apparently don't know how to do that because they started telling me that they are not allowed to tow vehicles for AAA from a business to a home. This is simply not true and was verified by AAA. Basically they refused to tow the vehicle and as a result, I was unable to have the vehicle towed today since AAA couldn't find another contractor to service the area. Bottom line is this; do you really want to trust a company that doesn't know how to place a cloth/rag in between a wheel and tow strap? Im vehicle-less now because of their inability to do basic tasks.They should not be AAA approved.

Horrible customer service. I have AAA insurance and i have been trying to use my warranty on my battery because its dead but for the past 4 months they didnt have one. And each time they come out they were supposed to make sure they have the battery before they come but they would come to attempt to give me a jumpstart which is no use.

BEWARE!!! I wish I could give this place less. Truck was stolen, later was told by the police station that the vehicle was intact but when we got there the truck had been completely stripped bare!!!! And the guy was pushing so hard for us to sign over the title as if that's the only option there was. Kind of suspicious that the police had a different record from what the state of the truck was at the yard. Will be pursuing further action! Stay away!Sorry if you ever had to deal with this place!!

Except for an initial delay on the arrival time predicted by AAA, the service on my drained battery was polite, efficient, and professional. The more experienced mechanic oversaw his apprentice while allowing for some hands-on experience.

This was the worst AAA service I have ever received. The tow truck driver, Armen, was incredibly rude to me, my fiancé and his father. He did not even greet us when he arrived, he would not look us in the eye, and was reluctant to answer any questions about the process. He responded with anger and defensiveness when asked any kind of question. He had an inappropriate and condescending tone throughout the whole interaction and when he left he just dropped the car off and drove away. He was completely disrespectful. After 30+ years as a AAA member, never has anyone in my family had such a bad experience.
