Our contractor installed 3 Premium Windows & Doors French doors. The doors are pretty nice, but after a few years, we couldn't lock one from the inside because the knob just spins. This happened again to another door a little later. It ends up that they used thin walled aluminum on a part that is stressed and should be thicker walled, or steal. So, it eventually cracks and won't lock. They refuse to stand by their life time warranty because, apparently that's normal wear and tear. There's nothing normal about bad design! Poor customer service and design flaws, so I do not recommend them.

Placed an order for 89 windows and was extremely surprised it was delivered within one week to my job site which saved me a lot of time! Customer service was great shipping called me in advance to coordinate delivery and time frame! Very happy with quality of windows and service I received! Premium windows is exactly what it says it is premium!

I don't know about recent matters but I went in and ordered six windows five years ago. I bought from them cause the other three manufacturers I went to had an extra cost for everything. The gas inside the glass, the grids inside the glass, and the width of the outer frame. This was all included, just pick what you want. The windows were done in a timely manner and since they were a few miles away and one of the window springs came out. I went down and talked to them, told them I would be happy to fix it there was no need to send anyone if they just showed me how. Well, a beautiful young lady took me in the back and showed me how easy the window was to take apart and even gave me some extra parts in case I needed them. Very happy with these folks and I am not a contractor. Just a home owner that does a lot of his own work. These people were always kind to me and treated me like I was a VIP customer.

I'm really so tired of waiting for my parts. This company has been horrible after Covid. My order was received wrong. And what a received was missing so many parts. My customer can't even lock 2 of her sliders because I didn't receive lock pins. Missing wheels on slider screens. Screens to large. They even sent me clear glass for the bathrooms where it was suppose to be obscure. After they got paid, they just want to ignore me. They will not give me a delivery date. I filled out service forms. I've emailed every one I talked too. I want my problems resolved now. I've been waiting months. They don't even give me an idea of a day. I don't even know if they starting making my obscure glass. The people I talk to don't know anything and never get back to me. I want some satisfaction- answers I just get empty promises. Maybe I'll just keep giving bad reviews until they decide to fix there mistakes.

I have to say I had a different experience than some of the other reviewers had with this company--one positive difference and one negative.I was very happy with the quality of every window and the sliding glass door and with the contractor's installation of it here in Fresno. However, the screen door had handles that were positioned poorly--far from matching each other. The contractor said Premium would have to come out and fix it, so they called in a request. I did not get a call back or voicemail, so I kept following up with the contractor for a few months, and finally, the contractor said Premium tried to call me, and that the way they handle requests for service is to call the customer, and if they don't get a call, they no longer leave a message but just sign off saying the service request has been completed. They gave me Premium's direct number. I called. They said they would come out May 13 between 8am and 12 noon. It was a no-show. I called back on May 19 to see what happened and when they would be coming out. They said they usually have a service truck going to Central and Northern California every 2 weeks and said they would call me when a truck will be in the area. So, I started putting these days in my calendar to track everything. All in all, it would seem their company appears to be professionally immature in regard to closing the loop and pursuing customer satisfaction. Almost every company will have some flaws in manufacturing from time to time, but overall, I found their windows to be excellent. And to their credit, they exceeded other companies in professional competence in the simple fact that they answered the phone. But to me, they seem lacking in followup, timeliness, setting expectations, and keeping promises.Would I buy from them again? Yes. If, say Anlin or another equivalent company came in with a better price for the same quality windows and work, would I choose them instead? I might, especially if their customer interactions were more professional. I did not get the feeling they were inclined to accept responsibility or seek customer satisfaction or increase their commitment to handling customers more professionally. But they did not seem overly averse to that either. Some companies are quick to blame the customer, and that is the kind of company to avoid doing business with. In fact, it may be better to do without what they sell rather than buying it from them. I don't consider Premium that bad. At least that was not my experience. And again, I found their windows to be of very high quality.

They have always handled any minor warranty issues which rarely come up. I have been very pleased with their product quality and customer service, though it use to function better when I was able to get quotes through their online vendor system which now no longer functions

Amazing company, great product really good delivery time and (most important) outstanding customer service. I am convinced that the reason they do not have 5 stars is bad contractors. Below is a sample of a extremely satisfied customers installation

I am a project manager for a commercial contractor in the Sacramento area, we recently started to order from Premium windows after being contacted by a salesmen as a more cost efficient window compared to a larger chain supplier like Milgard ...What a mistake that's been. Since our first order at the beginning of the year till now, we've had nothing but problems with a majority of the orders placed. The people in the office do not know what they are doing and our salesmen who was very egger for our business is unresponsive. (I will say the only person who has actually helped us is Marilyn - she does everything she can to help - even does tasks that aren't her job!! - and is the only reason we kept placing orders there in the first place so this review does not include her performance.)I'll start with one of our very first orders: We had windows delivered on a super windy day and instead of tying off the windows to the rack like all of our suppliers do, the driver drove away and all of these brand new windows we ordered fell to the ground breaking the glass and damaging the windows fins not even 5 minutes after they drove away. We called them back to get the windows and clean the mess they made. Instead of having them turn around right away they came back hours later and left all the broken glass on the ground for us to clean up instead.Another incident we recently had was they sent an order with about 20 windows on it without all the window weep hole covers? It took there customer service department a little over 2 months to send us those after constant calling and resending the same emails over and over again..We are still in the process of trying to work out another order that came messed up that they are refusing to fix. I was told today by someone who couldn't give me a reason, that management was not going to approve the replacement of only two insulate units with grids that are obviously messed up. We ordered a huge batch of bronze aluminum windows with black grids in all of them. All of the windows have clear glass except the ones in the bathroom have obscured. For some reason that no one can explain to us is that the obscured windows that came for the bathroom show the cuts of the grids and the only reason we can see it is because the cuts were not clean - therefore showing a clear anodized edge instead of a black edge meeting the frame like what was ordered. I attached a photo of the issue and of the windows with clear glass. This is a very MINOR flaw but if the customer is unhappy with it - so are we. We were very surprised when they decided not to just fix it - Especially since all the other windows are not like that it doesn't make sense to us how that happened. They'd rather loose a supplier then fix the 2 insulated units for the windows that were done sloppy because its not a clear glass window. I can't even imagine what it would be like to try to get a warranty repair...Save yourself the stress, money and office time and just order else where.Save your customers too from having to deal with this type of customer service in the future.
