“Give this place a chance!!! Yes the rooms are small and minimalist but they give you everything you need! Awesome shower, comfy bed, mini fridge and microwave. The rooms are clean, friendly staff and daily housekeeping. The walkability here is fantastic!! A short 5 minute walk to Universal Studios shuttle that takes you to entrance. You won't want to trek the hill, take the shuttle! The coffee in the lobby is good. It doesn't have continental breakfast but do yourself a favor and walk just around the corner to the donut shop! They have amazing breakfast sandwiches too!! Just around the corner too is a great burger place, pizza place and 24 hr Subway!! Literally just around the corner to walk to from the hotel. We frequented them all often and the food was awesome!! Would definitely come back!”

“Great Staff & Lovely Building, but we just didn’t like the food or the bed. Otherwise, everything else was so great. 9/10 would come here again. From the colorado rocky mountains!Nearby activities: the hotel has great activities for couples from in-room dining, two restaurants, rooftop pools, 24hr access to the gym & the lovely spa floor.”

“A fantastically beautiful hotel just a few minutes' drive from the Universal Studios. A free shuttle takes you there. The hotel exudes the splendor of the 70s and 80s, at the time of the Hollywood stars. Stylishly classically but also modernly furnished, it enchants with its luxurious style. You feel comfortable throughout. This starts at check-in, where the staff is always friendly, helpful and courteous. Here the guest is treated with respect and you immediately notice that you should feel comfortable. The rooms are purpose-built and comfortably furnished. Impressive. Thank you”

“Hotel location, service, cleanliness and overall service was excellent - no complaints. Just a few things - you will pay a resort fee of 28 dollars, but they give you a meal credit of 30 dollars per day ( I personally think both should not be there , and the resort fee should only be for folks who want it as only one is given per room). The restaurants in the hotel are outstanding - we used the cafe and the Preston's - great breakfast. Honestly , have breakfast in the hotel, rather than go somewhere else and paying more. The hotel breakfast as freshly made omelets, waffles, smoked salmon, lots of pastries as well as the regular breakfast items on the buffet - and they tasted great!”

“I have to come here for an extracurricular activity held at the hotel, and i’m unsure if the staff are all directed to treat any non-hotel guests like scum of the earth diseased garbage, or if that’s just how they treat everyone, but i have never encountered more horrific service in my life. All the workers are EXTREMELY rude, they will look you in the eye as you wait for their help and they intentionally answer a phone or do another task instead just to spite you. There is never any of the needed staff and when you inquire with other staff, they act like they want to murder you for daring to request any service in a…get this…PLACE OF SERVICE. for those who want their travel experience to feel like staying at someone’s house who hates you and wants to make you as uncomfortable as possible, this is for you! i’ve traveled all ways from motel 6 to the 4 seasons. I have never encountered a worse staff than at this hotel. A bunch of miserable people who spew horrible energy, anger, and rudeness everywhere. It’s truly disgusting how this hotels employees treat anyone who walk into the lobby. everyone should be ashamed of their self. quit your job and give it to the good people who actually want to work and don’t want to be as hateful and horrible to nice decent people as they possibly can.”

“Hotel is convenient if visiting North Hollywood. Rooms are above average. They are clean and adequately sized. Patio is nice. Workout room below average. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Bring your eye shades! Rooms are very bright in the morning. If you like a dark room you are out of luck as the shutters do not block out light. Also bring your ear plugs. I heard doors slamming all night. Would return for the convenience.”

“Absolutely beautiful property, I loved the room it was spacious (love love love that), loved the decor. And, the bed was really comfortable. To this hotels management team I'd say that they should look into putting a full length mirror in every room...it's always nice to look yourself over before going out. Also, 2 towels in the bathroom just doesn't cut it for me.”

“We stayed here during June 2024. The location of the hotel is excellent- walking distance to Hollywood Blvd. The hotel is beautiful- a subtle glamor old Hollywood aesthetic. The room we stayed in, The Marilyn Monroe, was spacious with a comfy bed. The architecture and garden courtyard is usually where we had our complimentary savory and sweet croissants. The most stellar part of the stay was the amazing staff - from reception to valet- everyone was polite, professional, and warm. It made the stay even more special knowing the dedication of the staff. I will definitely be staying here agin and would recommend The Prospect to anyone looking for a quality hotel in Hollywood.”

“I absolutely LOVED my time staying at the Tangerine. I stayed for solo for one night and felt absolutely safe and cared for. Walking distance to amazing food, the bed was cozy, and the room was clean.”

“The London is one of my favorite hotels. Everything about it is perfect, to me. The hotel itself is beautiful. The valet area is surrounded by trees, and I always feel luxurious stepping into the building. Staff is helpful and best of all attentive. I used to frequent Boxwood at The London often with my husband, when it was under Gordon Ramsay's direction. However, I believe it's not associated with him anymore. The last time I ate there the quality of the food just wasn't the same, the beef Wellington tasted a little off. To sum things up, this swanky hotel is worth the pretty penny. Atmosphere is nothing short of opulent.”

“This was our first stay at the Coast Annabelle Hotel, located off West Olive Avenue in Burbank, during our two-night stay in May. This cozy establishment is within quick driving distance of Hollywood, Griffith Observatory, movie studios, theme parks, and other points of interest. Upon arrival, the building on the outside looked nice and quaint, with a bar and restaurant on-site. The entrance and lobby were exceptionally clean. My partner and I were greeted by the staff at the front desk. Our room facing the parking lot on the 2nd floor was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The large shower was really great, with a rainwater feature and a regular shower head as well. However, the way this hotel is set up, the hallways are open. So one walks out of your room and can look out at the reception area and other rooms. So noise travels fast and hard. They do offer a free shuttle bus to Universal Studios as well as Burbank Airport, but they recommend booking early. All the staff were friendly, polite, and helpful. This hotel provided us with what we needed, and I can recommend it.”

“Been here many times over about 5 years. The bar at the pool often has different hours than advertised/ posted and they still don't have room service or food service at the pool according to the staff I spoke to. Sucks because nearly everyone at the pool would order food if they could. This poor valet had to enter my card information by hand because the device they use is broken and management apparently hasn't replaced it. Seemed strange and unfair to them. Also one of the soap dispensers in the bathroom has been broken for many weeks. Sometimes the wood keys don't work, have had to get them replaced minutes after being issued, and the door to the pool deck seems broken from time to time. Hard to get in, or out. With a few small tweaks, i'm sure there r others needed too, would be in 5 star territory. I also think they should hire more valets as there is typically a line/ wait to drop off and to pick up cars even during the day.”

“Not very good breakfast. The service was good but the water in the bathtub could not be stable it kept changing between hot and cold. There was also a lot of sound when I had to sleep. The staff was kind thoNearby activities: It was close to Hollywood Boulevard”

“We stayed one night to celebrate a special occasion. The Montrose is a boutique hotel with limited staff but they do the job. It's ideal for guests who don't need a lot and just want to sleep somewhere quiet but close enough to walk to some action. It's located minutes away from the heart of We Ho. The pool on the roof is enjoyable albeit small. It is more of a sip and dip pool than a swimming pool. They do have comfortable lounge furniture so on a sunny day, it is ideal for a nap before heading out for the evening. The rooms are comfortable and clean and I love the body lotion and shower gel. Parking is expensive $50+ per night so find street parking if you want to save some cash.”

“This place takes West Hollywood to places it hasn't been in many years. Quiet and private with some of the best amenities in town. Most rooms feature floor to cieling windows with spectacular views of the Hollywood hills or the city. The staff treats you better than your own family. You can't go wrong here. Whatever you do, make sure you take a night to dine at the restaurant and see the stars to to your left and in the sky...Rooms: The rooms have floor to ceiling windows from another time. The views are 2nd to none in Weho.Safety: They have a pretty secure door here. So you won't find non hotel quests just loitering in the lobby stargazing.Food & drinks: The restaurant here is simply amazing! It makes leaving the property very hard.”

“Our Chateau Marmont experience somehow managed to exceed my expectations. We stayed a few days in one of the garden cottages and had a blast. If you have the ability to mix with the rich and famous without making a fool of yourself, there is great fun to be had. One of the best things about CM is its strict "no foolishness" policy, which does a great job of regulating behavior and creating a relaxed atmosphere. If you go to the Chateau planning on getting selfies with celebs or getting autographs or generally being a nuisance, stay elsewhere, because you'll be shown the door.

PROS: Really good vibes - the hotel is relaxed, not stuffy. Hotel staff were uber professional; by the third day, they knew who we were and treated us like insiders. The whole place drips of Hollywood history, so if you're a history nerd like me you'll be in heaven. If you hang out in the evening you will undoubtedly see famous people roll through the (very small) bar and restaurant.

CONS: The cottages are close to Sunset and you can hear the traffic. This is my only complaint.”

“The Edition in West Hollywood was awesome. The communication we had with the staff score we arrived was all great. The property is all around beautiful. From the decor to its over all looks is amazing. Julio at the front desk was professional, kind and informative. Julio got us checked in and told us a bit about their awesome property. The room was very clean and left us breathless. Don't let me get started on the views. It was very spacious and had exactly everything you need. From amenities to a relaxing couch if you're waiting to go upstairs to their rooftop lounge which I recommend. Over all a very awesome property, definitely see myself staying here again.”

“Overall a nice hotel, but definitely some quirks. On the plus side, well maintained overall, given the age of the property. The staff was also very accommodating and friendly. Minus side, elevators were a little sketchy at times, functional things didn't always work well (like the faucets putting out too hot water but not all the time), and the fitness room is designated as 24 hours a day, but half of the room (the weight room area) is off limits from 9:00 p.m. to 9:00 a.m. (which says to me it's not 24 hours a day).Nearby activities: Just a short walk or shuttle bus ride to Universal Studios, which made the accommodations worth it.Walkability: You can walk to the Universal Studios, but it is a bit of a hike. I would not recommend it with little kids (unless you use strollers) or people that would have difficulty walking more than a mile or up a long flight of stairs.”

“I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Safari Inn Hotel in Burbank, CA, and it was an exceptional experience. The hotel's retro charm and vibrant decor immediately set a welcoming tone, making me feel like I'd stepped into a classic Hollywood movie. The rooms were impeccably clean, a little small for a family of 4, and well-appointed, providing all the modern amenities while retaining a unique vintage flair. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. The rooftop heated pool offered stunning views of the city, perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Its convenient location, just minutes away from major studios and attractions, made it an ideal base for exploring Burbank. Overall, the Safari Inn exceeded my expectations, combining comfort, style, and excellent service in a delightful package. The Safari Inn Hotel in Burbank, CA, offers a delightful array of amenities and services that enhance the overall experience. Here are some of the standout features:- **Rooftop Pool**: The hotel boasts a beautiful rooftop pool with stunning views of the surrounding cityscape. It's the perfect spot for a refreshing swim or to unwind on the sun deck with a good book.- **Fitness Center**: For those who like to stay active, the hotel has a well-equipped fitness center. What’s challenging is some of the parking you gotta make awkward choices of how you’re gonna park.- **Shuttle Service**: A convenient shuttle service is available for guests, providing transportation to nearby attractions, including Universal Studios Hollywood and Warner Bros. Studios. The best part it’s included with your stay. Make reservations, ahead of time to secure your spot on the shuttle. Holds around 9 people. Time slots from 6am - 9:30pm the latest daily. Also, don’t forget to tip the driver. On my stay only one other person tip the driver. Cheap azzes, those trips cost around $50 -$70 both ways. An I saved $35 for parking at Universal Studios on both Saturday and Sunday. So be generous and tip the driver.- **24-Hour Front Desk**: The front desk is staffed 24/7, ensuring that assistance is always available. The staff are knowledgeable and can help with everything from check-in/out processes to local recommendations.- **Laundry Services**: For guests staying longer or who need some laundry done, the hotel offers laundry and dry-cleaning services, which is very convenient.- **Meeting Rooms**: Business travelers will appreciate the on-site meeting rooms, which are equipped with audio-visual equipment and can be arranged to suit various types of gatherings and events.- **Room Amenities**: The rooms themselves are well-appointed with comfortable beds, flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, coffee makers, and almost spacious bathrooms. With 4 people it felt small. Just my family looks at it like we ate staying in are hotel room all day. We only use the rooms to have a roof over are heads. Some rooms even come with kitchenettes, ideal for longer stays. Just would be nice if there was a small closet. With these thoughtful amenities and services, the Safari Inn ensures a comfortable and enjoyable stay, whether you're in Burbank for business or leisure.Nearby activities: Universal Studios, Warner Bros. Studios, malls, AMC theater and a whole exciting little city to look atSafety: The whole areas lit up around the parking lot and around the place. Also”

“Stayed for one night so maybe didn't get to experience as much as others. Staff was incredibly helpful and kind - we arrived when it was raining and the valet came out to our car with an umbrella. The room itself was nice but oddly arranged, bed squished up against the window, so hard for second person to get in and out. We walked across the street for breakfast at Bea Bea's, but LA is not known for being walkable and requires a car to drive to most destinations/attractions”
