I tried to rent a car on the website so I did for the next day but the next day an hour before my appointment someone text me and said that they do not have the car that I want first it wasn’t even the car that picked up lol I text back with another question after days still waiting for the reply unprofessional company

I have been using one of their rentals for almost a year now and the experience has been great! Everything is smooth, clearly explained, reasonable and the maintenance check ins are always done quick.
It seems a lot of people don't understand how holds work on cards or how to manage their money which causes issues. This isn't an problem on the part of the Hertz team, they are very patient and clear with their communication. I have never had an issue reaching them when necessary.

This outlet was not available during the hours of operation and I left the car more then two days later the car is not listed as returned and is trying to charge for a new rental week Also I had a prior vehicle that broke down and I called them to tow it witch they did however they charged for a extra week. The most terrible experience you can have is to rent from here.

now i see why they reviews are this low. I set appointment for 4pm i catch the bus arrived 4:10 spoke with clerk by the name Johnathan and he tells me “oh we don’t take rent cars after 4pm” like what?!?! They don’t give a crap. Just set your appointment somewhere else until they get shut down.

I am filing a legal dispute against the Uber/Hertz Panorama City location. The vehicle they rented me had mechanical issues on day one that I was out of pocket for because they refused to communicate. I was also lied too and bullied by their staff when problems arouse due to fraud activity on my account. The staff will no communicate beyond what an AI assistant would do; whey do they even have jobs?! Any concerns with the vehicle it's a too bad/so sad approach. Actually AI would do a better job than the 'gentlemen' working here. They are juvenile and incompetent and I very much look forward to suing and winning. They made my experience unbearable.

I met with the reservation agent, gave them my info, they gave me the summary of charges and explained to me how it works. Smooth transaction, I was in and out in less then 5 minutes.

Here are the key problems I faced:
1. Service issues during weekends: Your company does not operate on Saturdays and Sundays, and when an issue occurred on Friday evening (such as a flat tire, which happened to me twice), I was forced to wait until Monday. This is unacceptable, especially considering that I pay for services weekly. On one occasion, I had to personally cover the cost of a tow truck, two new tires, and installation, which amounted to $300. I was promised reimbursement, but after providing the receipt, I received no compensation. This is unfair.
2. Employee service quality: Throughout my rental period, I frequently experienced long delays — once waiting up to six hours for a vehicle replacement. This downtime impacts my work, and I observed other customers who were just as frustrated.
3. Payment issues: Random amounts were repeatedly deducted from my card, which were difficult to track. Additionally, charges for electric vehicle charging never matched my calculations, and on several occasions, I was charged twice for the same amount. I continued to pay but found the situation unacceptable.
4. Incomplete payment information: I am extremely dissatisfied with the lack of transparency and respect toward clients, particularly those who regularly contribute significant sums of money. I have all records of my payments and overpayments.

The staff here aren't very helpful, then rent out dirty cars and then tell the client to wash and vacuum car on return, it the only reason the cars are clean cause they returned cleaned , I rent here for uber rental and had gotten 3 different cars with sick in the back
And when I told the staff they said we know it’s in the rental pic and they won’t clean it, I rental one car and it had a damage ev charger and 6 week later they tried to rent the same car to me and they never fixed the broken charging port, badly run and staff not very friendly

Had a 2:PM rental time was told car was not ready cause it was being washed then I was told that there was an error warning do to the daylight running lights were not working. So now I have to wait even further to get the car.

They wrongfully charged my card for another payment after I had returned car and they don’t even have a phone number to contact them only a text message number if you want to reserve another week
Then you can’t contact them after you return the car they blocked you.
Uber drivers please don’t rent from this location.

Put in a reservation for a Tesla for them not to have it. They really need to get their organization right and stop promising cars they don’t have. And the weekly rates are insanely high
