The good: This store is so organized and clean. They have tons of Easter stuff on sale! Their clothes section wasn't bad for a drug store! They had a wide selection of water shoes and water toys for kids. They have local gifts like Palos Verdes hats. They sold snacks that they also sell at Whole Foods like flavored dried chick peas. In fact, the front shelf is dedicated to healthy snacks and is nicely lit up. I came for Afrin and I was glad they sold many different kinds in different sizes with generic equivalents. They have a self-check out area. The store is spacious and spread out. There's plenty of parking. The bad: I couldn't find Jello powder. There were missing price tags on some items. The interesting: I've worked for CVS before further north and vow to never do it again.

One of the worst customer service I've ever seen at a pharmacy!! Rude, arrogant, and unhelpful staff. There were a very old couple ahead of me and I heard their entire conversation as they were a little hard in hearing and also processed information slower so the conversation was a little loud. The pharmacy staff were very rude and short with the old couple, which were trying to understand why their medication that they needed so desperately was costing them $800!! It broke my heart to see them walk out slowly in defeat and extremely worried that they could have not afford the meds they needed. They could have been any of our grandparents. I ran after them and advised them to check with Costco, their pharmacy is far better priced for out of pocket meds compared to CVS. CVS is highway robbery in every aspect... I also educated them about the Good RX site, and how sometimes their prices are lower than Costco with coupons... they were so thankful and I saw a little bit of hope in their eyes... if I could afford it I would but their meds for them, it was a heart breaking scene... meanwhile the pharmacy staff could not wait to get rid of them even thought there was no one waiting in the line except for me and I was already being helped at the second window... any decent human being would have at least given them the information about checking Good RX or Costco... now coming to my own dilemma with them, I was actually picking up a medicine for an elderly person and when I got home and read the instructions it was extremely confusing and unclear... I called the next day to ask questions from the pharmacist and guess what? They couldn't be more short and rude on the phone with me as well. If you can, AVOID THIS CVS pharmacy!!

This CVS has people that don't know how to work. Rude and inconsiderate. Had to deal with a lady named Yessenia and she was super rude at checkout. I will not come back to this location. Didn't help me with anything.

The staff here are total dead heads. They act as though they are huffing glue, each and every time we deal with them. It is a disgrace to CVS. Most recently we were told the prescriptions were unavailable. We instated the pharmacist check, and they found out the prescription was available and processed. They just didn't feel like checking. That is their job, but this is the standard for this location. It befuddles the mind...the manager here is long overdue for being escorted out with a last paycheck.

First, the employees are great as is the pharmacy. This is solely related to management/corporate, it's ridiculous that you Rey upon self service kiosks, half of which never work, and that constantly need attention from staff that you fail to provide. Sticking one employee solo to check out regular customers and assist the self check problems is pretty Walmart-esque.

Even before covid. The lines are ridiculously long and wait times are just awful. I'm always told they have 1 pharmacist. And it's usually at peak hours , actually almost all hours. Noting has changed and has got worse since 2019. Yes I could go elsewhere but this is where all my scrips go. Come on cvs :/

Is it customary to be thrown out of the premises for refusing to input personal information ( birthdate) just to purchase over the counter drugs ie: Benadryl. I was thrown out of the store for tossing the product into the employee's hands because he wouldn't let me purchase the product because I refused to give personal information. This is the poorest customer service I have seen or experienced ever.

Multiple phone calls on hold for 30 mins to an hour with no answer. The lines to check out average 20 mins each time. I urge CVS to staff properly. The Rite Aid up the street is much more efficient.

This rating is for the service I received from Isaura at the pharmacy. She is a complete angel and provided great service. I came in today with my very sick toddler and she noticed that I have been waiting for a while and proceeded to help me out. She also helped my husband earlier on when there was an issue with insurance. If I didn't encounter her today, I probably would avoid coming here since my husband also had a bad experience until meeting Isaura.

I have lived in PV for over 40 years and have always loved this CVS/Longs. It's a great local drug store. The people are always nice and helpful, and that helps with the small town feel. They've modernized it with self-checkout and new fixtures but it still has the same hometown feel. I've seen so many businesses here come and go, but it's nice to see CVS/Longs hang around.

Many issues with this pharmacy. Long lines are a given sometimes. That's fine. But saying you don't have the meds when I was notified that the rx was ready, not ok. Then I went back and hour later and the meds were ready- I got half way home and received a call that they sent THE WRONG MEDICATION for my kid!!!!! Had to go back and rectify the situation. But sending adult medication that is wrong home with me for a CHILD is criminal. Will never use CVS again.

Been shopping here for years since we like the CVS discounts and offers, but this store is always a pain. There are never even cashiers and the self checkout stands always give you issues. I like shopping at CVS but never look forward to coming to my local CVS.

This is the closest CVS to my house so naturally I will tend to go here for prescription refills, vitamins, etc. I have never spent more time on hold than I have for this business in the last two weeks. It takes over 30 mins to get someone on the phone here. I understand businesses are busy but you reach a point where the excuse no longer carries weight. If they are short staffed, hire people. If it's "because of COVID" that excuse has run its course. I will likely being doing my business elsewhere due to these recent experiences.

I been a loyal CVS pharmacy customer since 2009 and I've been to many different locations. I been at this location since 2017. I used to always pick up my medication in store. There are lines, I get it, that's normal. The staff has ALWAYS been friendly. They would remember your name or little things about you. It really makes the experience as wonderful as it can be. When I came to this location, they said why don't you use text notification. I listened and signed up. Then they asked why don't you use the app? I signed up. Then they said you must be good with tech (I'm guessing it's because I'm much younger compared to their usual clientele) why don't you use mobile order so when you come you can just go to the mobile order window and pick up. Hey it saves me AND them time, why not!!! Everything is fine and dandy until COVID. Due to my low immune system, I switched the delivery. I started going back into the store about 6-7 months ago...The experience is really lacking to say the least. So far I only have to pick up 1 med, so I only go once a month. Every time I go...I get told different things. No, there's only 1 line. No, you have to come all the way up to the mobile order counter OR no please stand back. Whatever it may be...at least they were doing it in a very friendly tone. They would apologize and laugh about it. TODAY for whatever reason the young, petite Asian lady was VERY rude. I was waiting by the mobile order and when she passed me twice she did not look at me or acknowledge or ask me to wait a few more minutes like previous staff has in the past. After she called up 3rd customer I decided to speak up and ask if anyone was coming. She didn't say anything and just gave me her index finger gesturing me to wait. After she was done she asked me what I wanted. "What do you want?" WHAT KINDA OF QUESTION IS THAT?? I want my medication of course. She said "oh you were waiting in the wrong place, the line is here" and she pointed at the regular line. I told her I'm using mobile order, she said nothing. She went to get my meds and I told her every time I get told something different. She again had no reply. Then I said if you guys don't want to use that window, you should put something to cover it up. She rolled her eyes and just kept ignoring me. Saying sorry or saying I will let someone know IS THE BASIC RULE in customer service. I don't know what changed or she doesn't know the procedure or lack in procedure. But usually if the line is long and they can't come work at the mobile order line, they call for a back up. Which is usually the asian gentlemen in blue scrubs or the pharmacists in white lab coat. ALL VERY NICE AND KIND even though we know they are so very tired and overworked. I hope her day gets better so she can treat other customers bette

I have had chronic problems with this l**** pharmacy over the last 5 years I am on no auto refills yet they text me at least once per seek asking if I want a new drug that is on sale and they are pushing to meet marketing objectives . On actual refills that I want, for example a drug will say "3 refills remaining" yet the website demands that I call the pharmacy. wait on hold for 45+ minutes to speak to some darling young girl on staff (who takes my birthday 3-4 times before placing my order the order. Then they send me text messages to a cell phone I removed from my account 5 years ago. They also auto fill things I didn't auto fill. And they then text me telling my the drug I didn't order is ready for pickup. I've asked them to stop doing this at least 989 times over the past 5 years. They agree but NEVER FIX THEIR SLOVENLY ERRORS, They need to hire some grownups on staff to answer service calls and stop drinking and ALL DAY LONG. Their customers are busy important grownups who do not want to make 3-4 hour phone calls with high school girls to make girl friends. I am 70 years old and married and don't want a new 17 year old girl friend, Major cleanup of this badly run store is needed. Fire 90% of the inept clueless staff. This has been going on for at least 5 years so the manager also needs to be fired and open up a dating service with the little girls working for him who can't handle grown up pharmacy jobs I am blocking CVS' phone number from my cell phone so that calls from Cvsgirls calling me for dates WILL BE BLOCKED. i AM NOT AVAILABLE FOR DATES with TEENAGE GIRlS
