They stock interstate batteries, which are among the best batteries you can buy. The shop is local and the prices are fine.I've purchased two batteries here and the service has been friendly and prompt.I notice that they have a lot of classic and luxury cars being serviced here, which sort of implies that their service is good.

I have been going to Hilltop Automotive for many years. I always have a great experience due to their professionalism. I went for an oil change and vehicle inspection. They found two brakes lightbulbs were burnt out and replaced them that day. They also let me know what work would likely need to be done the next time I am there for an oil change. I know that my vehicle will be operating safely when I leave. I highly recommend them.Services: Vehicle Inspection

I went there for a flat tire around 4 pm and it looked like they already done , sitting in a car and playing with the phone. Came up with a lame excuse to send me away! If you don't want to work till 6 you don't have to post open till 6.

I've been using these guys for years, both for personal and company vehicles. It's a small shop but they do a great job, are always friendly, and have never felt like I wasn't given a fair deal. Not many auto places I can say that about.

I took my 2014 Equinox in for a safety check. When I go on the road, the road leads me to Hilltop for their blessing. They are my neighbor we are family, I won't go anywhere else. Steve, the owner is on top of his business and the staff are terrific. They take appointments, you are valued, they have you and your vehicle in the best of hands. With their car service, so convenient you can go home without a care, have a nice day and know they will call you with great news. I would highly recommend Hilltop to everyone and I always do.

I used Hilltop for a few years and spent about $20K at Hilltop on my 1968 GTO. I believe that Steve fancies himself to be an expert on older cars but I DO NOT recommend taking any older vehicles to Hilltop. I had such a bad experience that I left and took my car to a few experts on engine, carburetor, suspension and cooling. I recently visited Hilltop to get a complete print out of all the work I had done with suspicions that they bought the wrong parts for my car and I was correct. I also found that Hilltop was charging me 2x to 3x what I can buy for a retail price online including shipping. When I had my carburetor serviced they found that the unit wasn't even screwed together properly and did not have the proper connections. The brakes were done there and the front left caliper was not attached correctly and fell off almost causing an accident. Steve also claims he fixes things completely but when I ask he said "no, we dont do that". For example he claimed to fix my air conditioning but told me that he didnt put any freon in the unit? (I tried it and it didnt work so how did he test it?) He was also supposed to fix the entire wiring harness and he failed to upgrade wiring in the engine compartment and did some wires but not others(?). They also repaired a window and it broke a few weeks later. He also disconnected the aftermarket stereo and did not reconnect it properly. After a $13K bill with Hilltop 2 weeks later I had to take it to experts to fix it all and spend another $2000. Fixing old cars is NOT easy but dont claim to be an expert when you are just a hobbyist. Be honest, dont fix something if you dont know what you are doing. Steve has a very very difficult time ever admitting he could have done something better. I trusted them for the $20K worth of work....never again. Money wasted.

Typical shop that 1) says we found another problem, you can't see the damage because it's unsafe for you to be in the repair bays, and 2) we don't accept credit cards so you have to pay in cash (the shop has signs to indicate that it accepts ALL CREDIT CARDS). I brought my car to the dealership, they said there was only one repair that needed to be performed. And the dealership was more than happy to take a credit card.My advice talk to your dealership, consider other options, focus on honesty and quality, and remember that "you get what you pay for".

My husband's car had a squealing belt when he started up his car. Steve and his staff were super helpful when I contacted them. They were able to look at the car the same day. They spent at least 30 minutes, probably more, assessing what could be wrong, explained what different things might be causing it and even ran a diagnostic to make sure it wasn't the alternator. In the end they tightened the belts and said it if happened again to bring it back in and they'd research it some more. Well they totally fixed the problem and my husband is no longer embarrassed when he starts up his car. They didn't charge me anything for their time, knowledge and fixing the problem. They were really nice, honest guys and we would use them again.

I own a 1970 classic that lacks available parts. Hilltop's enterprise in fabricating replacement parts on their premises is both outstanding and ingenious. I appreciate the bespoke service I receive, after all, these are real car guys that really care.

I was curious about this place which is unusual for its location- right in a neighborhood with none other businesses nearby. It was indeed unusual. The manager was in the back room or under the counter I wasn’t sure but surfaced and looked at me in a somewhat startled face. How hard was it just to greet people. I asked a few questions and felt just cold reception throughout. So I walked out. Maybe they don’t want new customers anyways. But curtesy and hospitality are basics for service business which was entirely lacking.
