This post office cannot get out of their vehicle to deliver mail if a vehicle is parked in front of it. These have to be the laziest mailmen ever. City code states the mailbox must be installed at the street crub. I am a contractor that works in this area often, and clients get upset if a vehicle is parked on front of the mailbox because the mailman will not exit the vehicle, and walk the mail to the box to deliver the mail, they just skip that house. This is a well known fact for all residents in this area. There is a known slogan for mailmen, but it does not pertain to this group.Postman's Motto "Neither snow, nor rain, nor heat, nor gloom of night stays these couriers from the swift completion of their appointed rounds."- except a parked vehicle that causes a minor inconvenience for them..

Possibly because not many know of this location, I have never seen a line. I'd always choose it over the Palos Verdes Peninsula location off Silver Spur for quick transactions. Lovely plaza just a plus++

Dear USPS, Please do Rita and the community of PVE a favor and find another position for her. She is miserable and miserable to be around. Thank you, Matt

I usually try to support any business that is in my home city. I am a very nice person and I don't complain about customer service usually. That was until I came to this place. I walked into this post office with high spirits. I had just sold an item on eBay for a very good return. All I had to do to complete my day was to ship the item. I paid for shipping prior to arriving at the post office. It was pretty expensive, like 50 plus dollars just to ship a small item. Well, everything was going good for me until I entered the post office. I noticed this white man (customer) was upset and was attempting to settle a current issue he was encountering. Well the employee, an older black lady, was extremely rude to him and continued to tell him to call and make a complaint. I was upset with how she was treating him but I was in a hurry so I continued to wait in line. When the rude lady finally called me up, she had a very ugly and disgusting attitude. I told her I was shipping an item for eBay and she pointed out that I had to print it out. Well I told her I don't have a printer with me and she stated it was not her fault. I asked why did I pay 50$ if they can't provide paper. She continued to have an attitude and told me to come back with the label printed out. I ended up leaving this place really upset and went to the post office in Torrance and I got the label printed for free. That employee needs to be talked to because she doesn't treat customers with respect.

I do not understand why the rating for this place is so high. It is sometimes hard to park, but besides that, they don't give a a receipt for my drop off, you know usps often lost packages and some packages are lost without going into the system, a receipt is just something so simple but they sometimes refuse to give me.

I came in happy and positive, but after waiting in line, I was completely ignored. I explained that I was mailing to US territory, but she quoted me $27 for international shipping. The package was going to a military base. I tried, very politely, to explain again where it was going and that it had been below $10 prior, but I was shot down and treated like a crazy idiot in front of many. I had to drive to the post office in redondo. They listened. It shipped for $8 with tracking.

A P.O. Box is the best. If you're away for weeks they keep your mail safe. Max home delivery hold is only thirty days.

This US post office is unlike any other that I've been to. It's small but hardly ever very crowded. Parking is pretty good and the location and little shops and market that are by it are great. What really sets this place apart though is the staff. They are always really helpful and almost always say hello when you walk in. This may seem like something simple but to me it's a big deal and makes me look forward to going in there. Keep up the great work and great attitudes. Thanks!
